Hi,
Ive been getting the dreaded RLS quite a lot more lately whilst getting into trance or during meditation, and was wondering if anyone else was finding the same thing? I know it brought this on before but I put it down to coincidence more than anything else, but have just been getting it consistently for the last few weeks or longer.

Makes it even worse since I try and do trance/meditation before going to sleep, then I cant sleep as I have RLS...argh!

Ive read up a lot on the syndrome but nothing helps, just wondering if anyone else gets it whilst meditating/trance/energy work?

This happens to me sometimes.  I've experienced less since I started taking a cal-mag supplement, and I also make sure to do a LOT of stretching beforehand.  Also, try experimenting with how you're sitting.  I don't understand why, but when I sit on the futon with my legs dangling off the floor, I don't get any symptoms.  But if my legs are propped up, there the RLS kicks in sometimes.  This is contrary to what I read in books about ergonomically correct seating, but I won't complain if it works.

I'm curious, could it possibly be related to energy blockages in the legs?  I don't know the exact clinical symptoms of RLS but I definitely used to and still sometimes get restless legs, which would make sleeping difficult.  If you think this might be the cause I would recommend extra energy work on the legs followed by relaxed but deep stretching with deep breathing.

I wasn't aware that there was a RLS, but I've been having it for a week now.
Before bed I usually do NEW, then meditate for a half hour; then go to bed &
work at starting the vibrations. Earlier the past week,5 days running I've been getting RLS. The last 2 days I've been doing some yago stretches & RLS
has stopped.

Ok Ill try some hardcore stretching whenever I get this, or prior to meditation/obe attempts and will report back. Cheers.
