How do I navigate the astral when I die without my body? I am afraid that if I can't go back to my body that I will just get lost if I roam to much. Thanks.

from my understanding, it depends on your soul. if you are a baby soul, you reincarnate from a dimension of where souls are born, if you are a medium soul, you are from high dimensions, and if advanced, you come from much much higher dimensions that are less and less dense. the more advance you get, the higher in dimensions you evolve in.

Interesting Whoamiii, that sounds logical. I wonder what if you could go to the real time zone and find someone to reincarnate into?

How much control do you have over your mind? I'm just like thinking like if I die in a degraded state of mind will I still have that degraded state of mind in the astral. I heard that you can't keep you memory in the afterlife if you have not reached enlightenment. Since memory can't survive the death process or something like that. Most people that have NDE's have full memory functioning working in there mind and etheric or astral body before death. They would also be able to talk about and report their experiences. But what about a retarded person having an astral projection or a NDE. Or better yet a person with no functioning memory? Maybe that talk about you can only retain your memory if you become enlightened only refers to long term memory.

I read about this guy that is a good astral projector and he wrote an ebook. I may be able to find it if you like. But in the book this guys says, that when he was talking with someone else in the astral that the people there did not remember where they came from. That might just be referring to long term memory. So that's a very interesting thought, that you can't keep you long term memory in the astral.

That is just memory, what about concentration, contemplation, control over your experience, and others.

What do you think happens when an abused child with a anger disorder dies later? You know when they were very young and were abused and really emotionally hurt? And they grew up with a lot of anger. In my view it's not really their fault. But at the same time it's anger. I don't know what to  think. I want to think that a God would step in and prevent that person from going to hell. But I am not sure God can do that. I am not sure what to think.

If they created a hell on earth, would they go to hell? What do you astral projectors think?

nothing can destroy the astral body. The sun is a physical object while you are a non-physical being.

What about in the astral hells? I'm sure you can get burned in an astral hell.

Can you get burned or die by the sun or center of the earth when in the astral? I think you can go through fire but the sun would be much different. Thanks.

I agree with CFTraveler on this. I think there is a great possibly that we are all just robots. And anything that happens spiritually is also just a mechanical, cause and effect of the energy of our bodies and the universe. An spiritual evolutionary mechanism that was built. Nothing happens without a cause in our bodies. Even Osho an enlightened master says there is nothing like free will.

You are either a slave to this world and the play of energy or you are a slave to the higher energies.

But the key to survival is to believe that you do have free will and can make a difference.

So at that, I would like to go to the higher dimensions if at all possible. If from there me and the beings of light decide I need to go to the lower dimensions to workout my negative karma, that is what I will do. But if that is unnecessary, then  why bother. I have not been a saint my whole life.

I have a theory that when you die, at first it's like your astral projecting. But then as time goes by something releases from your body, permanently making you unable to come back to your body. You know in most NDE's they can come back to their body. So there must be a connection between you and your body if you can come back. But what realeses that connection. I don't knnow.  So before you are permanently released from your body you still have some kind of connection.  So I am theorizing that the chemicals your brain releases will cause you to see a light connected to higher dimensions. Most will go into that light. But if you don't go into the light. The light will probably disappear because your body stops producing some of those chemicals. People can astral project while on entheogens or drugs or whatever so I have read that you can  still be in an altered state of mind even while astral projecting on these entheogen or drugs. So that totally supports my theory.

I'll probably make a whole thread here about this theory of mine.

Similar to starting school, just arrive and you'll instinctively know whats what.
