1  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Another experience :):):) on: March 17, 2010, 22:27:04
I projected out of my body via sleep paralysis. As soon as I was out I fell through my bedroom wall and into the street below.
I was walking along the street, which seemed pretty empty at the time. When I saw a police van drive past, I looked behind to find it doing a U-turn to follow me. I panicked and decided to fly away from it.
I looked over my shoulder when I was elevated in the air, the police van was flying right behind me. It caught up and stopped beside me. A man stuck his head out of the window and said "This plane is off limits" to which I said "How do I get to another plane?", he then told me to head one or two miles north where I would find another plane to explore. So I headed in that direction.

After a few minutes of travelling (It seemed like I could look at something and jump right to it) I find myself amongst a crowd of people heading in the same direct. There must of been about 20 or 30 of them.
I asked one of the women where I was and she said "Your in the RTZ, follow everyone else to get out" So I followed her until we reached a even larger group of people. I could hear music being played, the crowd of people were dancing and socializing.
I woke up soon after this.

I have no idea why the police was there  huh

I commented on this 11:11 biz the other day.

Everything is supernatural avenged7x.  You are getting subconsciously pulled to it because of the energy of the object is congruent with some kind of energy that you have.

In regards to 11, numerologically it is a master number that represents illumination, i.e. enlightenment.  It also breaks down to 2, but because its a master number you don't break it down.  Though the fact that 1+1=2 is still significant because 11 contains energetic qualities associated with 2 only relative to 11.  So if 2 is about communication between individuals, 11 is about communication between the higher self and physical self.

So, when you see 11:11 (subconsciously look at it) there's a good chance that it is a synchronistic red flag from your "higher self" saying "HEY! Pay attention! Something significant is happening".  You may just be sitting on the couch, but you could be receiving an intuitive message or something.
Sadly. I don't agree.

11:11 is nothing special or supernatural. Its just the works of your subconscious coupled with your body clock.

Most things you experience or things you see are due to hypnopompic or hypnagogic hallucinations. Some people actually believe they are being abducted or visited by some evil spirit, when all it is is a hallucination.

About sleep paralysis, I would have thought all the people who are able to consciously AP will experience sleep paralysis? Or is that not true?

Well with Lucid Dreaming, sometimes you can 'skip' the sleep paralysis stage and jump straight into the dream. Since the technique for wake induced Lucid Dreams are more or less the same as techniques to Astral Project, I am assuming you can skip sleep paralysis too.
However, this doesn't mean it hasn't occurred. Your waking body will automatically fall into paralysis when you are asleep.

I have it most days. It was the reason why I got into Lucid Dreaming in the first place.

I use to be afraid of it, but now it has a purpose so its not so bad.

Choline produces neurotransmitter acetylcholine which is good for REM. If I am not mistaken.

This thread is a bit disheartening for new members. I for one feel a bit reluctant to AP now I have heard about these 'killer gray aliens'
I hope for my own safety that your making this up.

Which plane is the most populated?
10  2012 and The Transition of the Ages / Welcome to 2012 and The Transition of the Ages / Re: Interstellar Travel on: February 22, 2010, 21:42:53
I was listening to an interview with Robert Bruce and he mentioned these gray aliens. He thinks that they are here to learn more about the human race.

I am right in assuming you see all sorts of different species wondering around in their astral bodies?
11  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: What happened? on: February 22, 2010, 17:01:28
Well as soon as I jumped out of the window, the 'Astral' feelings left and was replaced by the feeling I get with Lucid Dreams. I then saw multiple dream characters which I interacted with. I felt myself waking up so I rubbed my hands together which made the dream last a while longer.

Perhaps the entire thing was a dream?
12  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / What happened? on: February 22, 2010, 15:22:28
This morning I decided to try and Astral project.
I successfully got out of my body and walked forwards a few metres to look back at my physical body.
I was pretty sure I projected since it didn't feel like a Lucid Dream. However, after that, I jumped out of my window. For some strange reason the projection suddenly turned into a Lucid Dream.

Do you know why this happened?

I think its because my Lucid Dreams usually start in my bedroom and the first thing I tend to do is jump out of my window. Maybe my mind made that association and produced a dream.

Any thoughts?

17  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Question on: February 19, 2010, 22:14:14
So if this astral realm really exists.

Can I visit a spirit/God/angel/ect in this realm and then someone else visit the exact same spirit/God/angel/ect?

I hope someone understands the question.

Hi, congratulations on your first OBE! I also had one where I got thrown through the room, and I was a bit frightened, although it wasn't my first OBE. Here it is if you like to read it:

http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_projection_experiences/obe_9_and_10_wormholes-t30335.0.html

Good luck with your practising and the OBE's to follow.  smiley

Hello avenged
Yes, it does indeed appear that you had a full blown OBE. Kudos to you for that experience and for your ability to discern the difference between an OBE and a lucid dream.
While I find a lucid dream to be an enjoyable experience it is practically nothing compared to a full conscious out of body experience. Those people who can recognize the difference between the two are much more spiritually advanced than most.

Regards  cool
Grey

Thank you for your replies.
I would have to agree with you Greytraveller. My Lucid Dreams can be really enjoyable, but a OBE is completely mind blowing.

This morning I attempted to project again. I allowed Sleep Paralysis to take over and then I imagined my Astral body next to my bed. My Astral body lifted out of my waking body, which was a really odd experience. Once it was fully out, I tried to travel across my room.
I kept loosing my sight every few seconds and when I could see it was very blurry. I managed to move to my staircase although my vision has almost vanished by then, all I could see was the light shining through the front door at the bottom. I said to myself ' Clarity now! ' It felt like my waking body said it for some reason. My eye sight didn't changed at all. I panicked and woke myself up.
The enter time I could still feel the effects of sleep paralysis. Was this a partial projection?

I tried again three or four times, but they all ended up as Lucid Dreams. But im not complaining  tongue
19  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / My first Astral Projection on: February 15, 2010, 22:11:22
I have been practising Lucid Dreaming for about a year now. I started practising because I used to get terrible Sleep Paralysis attacks and Lucid Dreaming seemed to make them less frightful.
I am at a point where I Lucid Dream four or five times a week, which is great!

I always thought Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection was the same thing. But fortunately for me, I had my first Astral Experience about 3 months ago which settled my opinion.
I am pretty aware of what the dreaming plane feels like. I was defiantly projecting.

I was laying in bed trying to sleep, but I had other things on my mind. I kept myself awake by thinking through my problems. Eventually my body fell into Sleep Paralysis.
I knew I wasn't in REM because I hadn't slept yet (REM requires 90 minutes sleep) so attempting to Lucid Dream was pointless. Instead I decided to humour myself and try to Astral Project.

I began to visualize my Astral body move from side to side, in a rocking motion. I did this for awhile. The motion seemed to take my mind off the paralysis.
Out of nowhere, my Astral body was flung out of my waking body and dragged across the bedroom. At the time I was in complete horror, I never expected for it to work.
My body flew through my bedroom walls and across the street into someone's house.

I found myself stood in a bare room with a small coffee table in the centre. What struck me at first was how different it felt from a Lucid Dream, almost as if everything was too real? I felt overwhelmed with my own senses and energy.
I tried to move towards the coffee table to touch it, but I found it incredibly hard to move. It was like I was learning to walk for the first time  tongue At this point I began to panic because I couldn't move so much and ended up being dragged back into my body. I then woke.

So yeah, I believe that was an OBE Smiley
I think I might start practising this, not sure where to look first though.
