[(which I was actually considering doing in my real life, as of yesterday).]

Had a really bad/weird dream this morning... it's etched in my memory, which doesn't happen to me often, I usually don't remember much of my dreams if anything at all.
First off, let me say, in reality;  I have a money-hungry, crazy ex-wife.  And I was just recently fired from my healthcare job of 8yrs.

So, in my dream I went back to the hospital to collect my employee file (which I was actually considering doing in my real life, as of yesterday).  I kept having to go to different places in the hospital, constantly walking back and forth up this steep hill, I had to take breaks because it was giving me quite the workout with my legs.  I would run into people from time to time that I knew and speak to them briefly.  I saw a patient that I'd scanned before (I'm an MRI Tech. in real life).  She was relaying to me how her life had been going.  I noticed that my keys were being pulled toward her.  I told her, "Hey!  Are you magnetic, or what?"  So, I start showing everyone else in the waiting room how she can attract metallic objects.  And she was cool with that, we were putting on a show (in real life, I was known throughout the hospital for my unorthodox way of dealing with patients --- I treated everyone like long-lost friends).  Later, I go out to my car, and there's a cop car blocking me in.  I ask the officer what's the problem.  She (who is actually a nurse that I knew in real life from the hospital) that I had sent my ex-wife a check for $50 and it bounced.  I told the officer that's impossible because my bank covers anything if my account is insufficient and they would charge me after the fact.  She was still berating me, but agreed to give me access back to my car.  For some reason one of her associates is in my car and about to pull out in reverse, but instead floors it forward, wrecking my rent-a-car (probably a rent-a-car because in real life, I almost landed a travel assignment in which the company provides you with a rent-a-car... that's my guess anyway).  So I'm ticked but not displaying that... I remained calm.  While this is happening, me and everyone else out there (there was alot of people milling about) notice an old man attacking an old lady, and her husband is trying to help her.  The old man who had been trying to sexually assault her then pulls out a knife, and everyone scatters.  He begins going after people (mind you, he's in a wheelchair too), he then sets his sights on me and charges me.  My legs are still like rubber after walking up and down that hill all day, so I can't run.  I stand my ground and begin struggling with him to get the knife away and I'm yelling for someone to help me out --- no one does (In real life, not too long ago, a large and scary lookin' patient became threatening to one of my colleagues and I came over and diffused the situation without it getting physical, my colleague was scared to death and everyone else scattered, no one offered to help --- obviously, she was very grateful for my actions).  Anyway, I disarm him and that was that.  I'm talking to the officer about how they're going to replace my car, and she tells me they aren't going to do anything at all,  and very nonchalantly at that.  That was pretty much it.
The dream really freaked me out, it's been about an hour since I woke up and it still lingers, I even feel like crap now because of it. 
Recently, I've been entertaining the notion of "creative visualization"... basically, that we humans are capable of creating our own realities --- I do consciously astral project about once a month, by the way.
My life has been pretty rough since I lost my job --- alot of negativity in my life.  I try to stay positive, but I'm not very good at it.  I guess I'm hoping these dreams aren't going to carry over into my real-life;  the negativity that has been so prevalent in my dreams.  Now that I think about it, most all of my dreams that I remember are always negative, ever since I can remember it's always been that way.
Any thoughts anyone?

I noticed the similarities too (Kepple and Monroe).  Glad you liked it.  And there are a variety of "trip" packages available, and not as expensive as you may think;  I believe I saw one that was around $1500 for a 5 day excursion.

This is an Ayahuasca experience from Chris Marcus on a recent "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast... very interesting.

I was out of body the other morning (2am'ish)... and in my bedroom (RTZ, I reckon').
I always hear and read about looking at your hands to clarify your vision and surroundings... so I tried it (had never done that before).
My arms were Black --- I am Black, but this was like pitch-black, like a shadow.... and my hands were big black spiders... when I would wriggle my fingers, the legs of the spider were wriggling --- my hand was a spider.  I thought to myself... alright dude, you're tripping... ask to see something good, and it changed to a bear (I know, what the hell?)... and then it changed back to a spider.  I looked away and as I did, I noticed it dissolving into nothing as I was looking away.  From there I floated throught my window to the outdoors and began flying around.
I guess, from what I've researched that I was in the RTZ where you kind of control how things appear based on your feelings... I guess.
How does anyone else gravitate to a higher plane from there?

I know this is gonna' sound like a 5yr old asking Santa Claus for something.... but, I'm curious (and desperate).
I just lost my job a few weeks ago, and I'd been reading some Adrian Cooper;  particularly, his take on creating our own realities. 
Well, I thought it might be beneficial for me to AP and create a new job for myself back in my hometown.
I've been projecting since February --- 9 different events --- so, I'm very new to this still.  Haven't been able to make much sense of what I have experienced (I keep a detailed journal).
Does anyone with some experience with this think that it is possible, and do you think it's a selfish act that I'm attempting?  And either way, are there consequences if it should actually work?
I'm not sure how far I've gone in regards to "planes".  But, this morning I projected and I believe I hadn't gone far because I was still in my room, but conscious and obviously in a lower plane considering I was still in my room, but I was seeing things out of the ordinary and somewhat able to manipulate them.  That's when I just started repeating --- "I need a new job, I need a new job..."  Wow!!!  This really does sound kinda' silly now that I'm writing it out again.
Any take on any of this from anybody... I'm all ears.

anyone read "Our Ultimate Reality" by Adrian Cooper.  How about the chapter regarding "making our own realities"... anyone have any experience with this?  I'm curious if any one has proven this to be true for themselves.

Regarding your question about feeling like I'm alone in the RTZ... here's an excerpt from the journal I've been keepin'.

5th OBE:

As far as requesting a destination... I will just say it in my head (I think it's something I picked up online --- being able to go wherever you please), and there's been several times that I did.

Not being in control of my movements, especially while flying, but also when I'm floating around my ceiling in my bedroom... I probably just don't know how to move around... I usually feel like I'm floating in the prone position.

It is a kind of a relief to hear that your experiences have some similarities to mine.  That just may help to set me more at ease when I'm being whooshed around.

I've had 8 conscious OBE's now, and 3 in particular I was actually pulled out of my body... I can't ever really make out what is pulling me, but it appears to be shadow-like.  Anyway, during those OBE's I don't seem to be doing the "driving" either.  The places I decide to go to, my movements, asking to go back into my body... I don't seem to have much control over any of these things.  I say, not much, because I'll think to go back into my body a few times and nothing happens... until the third time, or so.  I'll ask to go somewhere and end up going somewhere entirely different and foreign to me.  I'll be flying at an insane speed to all these different places... flying about wildly, I can feel myself curling up into a ball, cuz' I can feel my stomach bouncing around, like when you're on a rollercoaster ride.  But, again... I don't feel like I'm flying... I feel like something is pulling me along.  I always seem to be flying through tunnels alot --- alot of times it looks like I'm flying through a vessel (artery, vein)... other times it's just dark, I can see things peripherally, but we're goin' so fast, it's a blur.  At one point, we'd stop in the middle of outer space... I can see stars and galaxies all around.  Then we'd whoosh off and I'm in some "other world"?  It had blue skies, green grass, and white clouds like Earth... but I saw this huge structure that was definitley not something you would see here, it was really grand and the view was serene.  These places (there were more) were just from this most recent OBE I had... about 2hrs. ago.
Ultimately, my question of course, is if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this?  And incidentally, what benefits have any of you garnered from OBEing?

Yeah, I wasn't "guided" anywhere, but I did go back into my body shortly after seeing "him"... I didn't have the opportunity to communicate at all.  I guess I'll just have to try again next time.

I began "giving in" to those strange vibrations several months ago.  Since then I've had 7 conscious OBE's.  I've never stayed out too long, or gone very far.  Well, the last two that I've had... someone else has been present.  The first time, I was having some difficultly exiting my body;  when next to me, I see a dark shadowy figure (the only light in my room came from the TV)... but, I didn't get any kind of fearful or negative vibe whatsoever --- I think he helped me out of my body.  Second time, I got out of my body (with some difficulty --- I was laying on my stomach) and got just a few feet from my bed, and was suddenly being PULLED back toward my body (silly as it sounds, it felt as if this "cord" I've heard so much about, was tangled).  I hovered over my body for a second and thought, "I could sure use some help, do I have a Spirit Guide anywhere?".  Instantly, I could see my TV set start to flicker and dim, as did the lighting in the room --- it got noticeably darker (the TV set was providing the light) for about two seconds then went back to the way it was.  Out of my left peripheral, I see a figure walk over to my physical body on the bed and sit down next to it).  Again, no negativity whatsoever (I believe it looked like a white dude in a button-up yellow shirt and brown slacks).  I wanted to communicate, but for some reason background noise from the TV was definitely distracting me (it didn't before... don't know why), and went back into my body.  Could this have been my Spirit Guide?
