1  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / This Long Short Road on: June 27, 2014, 13:32:26
My thoughts are as scattered as my feelings as to what to say here. I would like to start by saying it warms my heart to recognize many of the names here from my last visit quite some time ago. Hello guys, I have missed you.

I do not recall why I left this site in the past but I do know why I am back. I would like to tell you all a story, a story of my long, short road. When I was 14 to the time I was 18 I was lost. Like many wayward youth I turned to drugs, sampling everything I could get my hands on which, living in a city within the US under a firm cartel influence, turned out to be a lot. I numbed myself, deadened my spiritual side and ignored my emotions. I would like to say that one day I woke up and decided on my own to change, but that simply would not be true. Instead over a period of perhaps 3 weeks, though it felt like many months, almost everytime I attempted to project or dreamt I would arrive in the same place. Some part of me already seemed very familiar wIth this place even the first time I recall being there. Allow me to elaborate by simply running through my first recalled visit to this place:

I am in a field of what looks like wheat but it constantly ripples around me like those from a stone cast into a pond. It is not beautiful under the dusky sky, yet I know it shuld be. The sky is always cloudy and looks as if there is a blanket of smog. I try to fly but find myself unable. As I look around I notice a faint glow in the distance. *flash* I am standing under a very worn lamp post. Behind me, the same field I had been in. In front stretches a path as far as I can see. Seeing no other choice, I set off on this path and I am instantly hit by a feeling of sorrow and regret. As I continue on the path a man appears just standing on the edge of my path glaring at me. He seems quite upset. I call to him, " Where am I?" He replies, "On my path". Confused, I ask, "Where does the path lead" and he smiles " That my dearest friend is up to you." April 12, 2013

When I awoke from that I felt angry and confused as to why I was angry. Every night after that and multiple times while meditating I found myself back there, always right where I had left off and the man was always within sight though he only spoke to me a few more times. I traveled this path many times seeming to gain something from the experience everytime. Most importantly this path and this man taught me the true meaning of unconditional love for myself and for others though as in all others. I was given a true gift in that one day a boy whom I had fought with many times in the past and done many ugly things to came to me and he shoved me. He was clearly angry and planning to take it out on me. I hugged him and told him I loved him. He immediately recoiled and made manu homophobic remarks to which I simply assured him that I have no romantic interests in him, but I love him for being him. A few days later he contacted me on facebook telling me his father had passed and asking if I would hang out. I did and what was once my worst enemy ended up crying on my shoulder for almost an hour.
That is not all that my unconditional love for self and others has granted me. I gained the strength to deal with my emotions without the use of drugs and quit cold turkey. Unconditional love is a drug itself.

I do not wish to preach to anyone, I just wish to reiterate what mzny wise men have said before me: love yourself and love others. I promise, true love can change your life.

One last thing, I am not religious and I do not believe this was any kind of religious experience. I simply had a very wise man teach me a very useful tool at a critical time in my life. If anyone has questions or would like to hear more of my story I would be happy to share.

Thank you for reading and I hope somebody gains from my story and experience.

I love you all.

Bedeekin, this will be my last reply to you, and quite possibly my last visit to AP.

You mentioned that you always hear 3rd person accounts and what not, well if you're so interested in why some have such strong beliefs, I'll share one of my experiences.

A friend of mine, whom I shall refer to as Dan, came to my home. Now Dan was the type of person that was always hooked on some new drug and was addicted to meth, as well as, heroin. Of course he had come to me in order to get money for more drugs. Anyways, he entered my living room and I suddenly became aware of another presence, probably due to the notable drop in temperature within the room that even caused my heat to kick on (set at 50 degrees for the cold nights when it was 65-70 degrees outside during the day.) After talking for a few minutes, I began to get upset for no apparent reason, which isn't uncommon considering I have fairly strong empathetic abilities. About this time, I noticed Dan seemed to be devoid of color, not unlike the white someone turns before they pass out, and he was mumbling incoherently. The room got dark, very dark, as if I were getting severe tunnel vision, until finally it disappeared from my view all together. Needless to say, this was frightening, but before I had time to rationalize, a light appeared behind, brighter than anything you can imagine. These beings brought with them an unearthly chill that penetrated Dan and me to the core. This light illuminated up to a point right behind Dan, at which point, I saw them... the "demons." They often hide themselves in their own, self made darkness, especially around beings of light. This, again, is a darkness beyond what we consider black, its close to the "3D blackness" we often refer to. Dan never remembered anything past the light showing up and feeling extreme heat and I don't remember anything after seeing the "demons." I "woke up" three days later laying 5 miles deep in the woods outside my house with no shirt, no shoes, and only gym shorts on. I had bruises and scrapes, most related to wandering in a forest for three days. However, completely unexplainable, even by the medical team at UAB (hospital), I had 4 deep slashes that looked as if they had been cauterized and the medical team said they were healed so much that it must have been at least two weeks old by the time I got to the hospital. Dan ended up going missing for a little over a week and just showed back up at his house one day like nothing had happened, except for the fact that he was missing part of his ear (Same deal as with my slash marks) and had 3 distinct bald patches that were bloody. He didn't want to talk about it, but about a month after he showed up, we had a deep conversation about everything. That was the last time I ever talked to Dan. He was found dead the next morning by his sister who was worried about him not showing up to their breakfast plans. Police said it was a natural, but undetermined death. No autopsy performed.

I dare you to try to say I willed those marks on my skin. Did I burn my wounds too? Did Dan will away part of his ear? What was I afraid of during a regular, waking day that caused me to go temporarily blind and over 72 hours of amnesia? Did I, completely sober and awake at the time, simply dream this all up?

No, and that's why I believe that demons are real. That's why I've done my research, and that's why, quite frankly, it pisses me off the way you try to discredit what others believe and belittle them.

3  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Question about lower astral beings and demons. on: November 16, 2012, 04:18:55
Allow me to add another perspective to this, please, for all of the people that truly believe demons do not exist.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone who truly believed AP was completely false? They say things such as, "It's all in your head," or, "Ha, you just want attention," or even," It's only because you're tricking your brain."

They say this because they haven't experienced it and therefore they rely on what they have heard from others, and as this is their only source of information and, after all, we are human, they tend to lean more towards the ideas that clash the least with their own preconceived notions.

Apply this to negative entities and most of you are just as close minded as those people. I hope none of you ever have to deal with this, but yes, demons are real. I'll put it bluntly since I feel I've already explained my viewpoint in previous posts. You're naive to think otherwise and quite frankly, I'm getting fed up with the way this board treats those that believe or have experienced demons.

PS: Yeah, demons have caused deaths and disfigured people. Ask a priest with experience or research it yourself. There is even a case, as recorded by a skeptic, a bystander, and an exorcist, where a woman started speaking in multiple voices at the same time, broke both of her wrists because she was restrained, and then an object flew across the room and struck the priest performing the exorcism in the back of the head resulting in a concussion. Have you ever been into space? No. Does that mean that people going into space is just a load of BS? No.

I'm sorry for the rant, but I got myself worked up.

Not to mention that saying 'people that believe get attacked/pursued and the people that don't believe are fine' is simply logic. If someone doesn't believe, but then they get attacked or have an experience, of course they will believe then!
4  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Question on Weed and OBE's on: November 14, 2012, 01:47:06
The only way that I am aware of to consciously tap into your non physical memories is through your brain, or through your non-physical body. Now, that being said, if you are under the influence of a mind altering substance or anything that changes the physiological functions in your brain to unnatural proportions, you're most likely going to cut off any chance of tapping into your non-physical memories because clearing your mind and focusing your will is quite a challenge. If you want to use your non-physical "body" to access the non-physical reality, you need to have a clear head and be able to detach from the physical, or be dead, but I really wouldn't suggest or encourage the latter. rolleyes

Marijuana causes instability in the physical, this in turn nails the door to the non-physical reality shut until things are stable enough to use it.

Remember, this is simply my opinion, but I've been there, and I'm glad to have moved past it. (The occasional use of marijuana isn't going to damage anything, but any chronic use will cause instability in your PR and NPR.) I know you only use it for headaches, and I respect that, but your non-physical visits would be better without it, if it were possible for you to project through the headache.
5  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Question about lower astral beings and demons. on: November 14, 2012, 01:28:43
First allow me to explain that there are many types of negative entities. Some, such as demons, have been given power and even brought into existence by a collective belief in their presence and workings. Baal (Bael) is always my example as I, as well as my family, have had multiple experiences with "him." If you are ever unfortunate enough to come into contact with this particular entity, I advise you envision a white light and  know that you are protected as long as you believe so. Anyways, if you find yourself in his presence and he has revealed himself, simply ask how he came to be and I guarantee you will receive an answer along the lines of "I am the consciousness of the lambs in the field; I am the force which drives them to the wolf." That's just Baal for ya.

Now, as for another type of negative entity, there can come into existence masses of stored energy created by people themselves (As in a group of 1-3 individuals). This is the typical poltergeist or haunting. Don't get me wrong, it can be nasty, but these are more or less, psuedo-entities. They came into existence through built up negative energy and you can be rid of them simply by willing them away. (Easier said than done.)

For the last entity that I will discuss, I'll refer to the astral. Astral entities range from cute fairy like beings of good that simply help guide people in their travels, to beings that look like faceless vikings that wander aimlessly and pray on stray energy. They are dangerous and can definitely interfere with your travels, sometimes for months at a time.

In conclusion, I think it's about time I make a post on negative entities since it seems to have become a common topic.
6  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Question on Weed and OBE's on: November 12, 2012, 17:17:16
I've been clean for a few months now, and I can say it's actually pretty amazing. I used to smoke an ounce every three or four days for almost a year. (That's what you get when a teenager has a job, no self control, and no bills.)

Anyways, marijuana doesn't aid in projection at all. It will give you interesting sensations that, if you've never truly projected sober, you may interpret as the doorway to the NPR. This is false though. To truly experience and remember your non-physical journeys, you should be as clean and natural as you can be.

I can't convince you to quit smoking weed, but I can tell you that if you do, your quality of life will increase dramatically and within a week or two you will start to notice that you can think more clearly and solve harder problems. I know that won't help though, because it's the same thing my friend told to me while I had a bowl in my hand and I thought, "Why the hell would I not want to be stoned? I think so much more clearly, I guess I'm just different." Hindsight is 20/20 and that was a very stupid time in my life.

9  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Negative Entities on: November 04, 2012, 02:09:48
First, Lotty, can you explain for me the kinds of experiences you've had with said 'entity?'

I've had plenty of experience in this field, that I don't share on this site as mention of negative entities is often hit with fairly unhelpful and controversial information.

No offense to those that have posted, but even as they said themselves, they either don't have experience with negative entities or it's always in the NPR. Having said that, I must urge you not to discredit these men as they are quite wise in many areas, but I've come to realize even those whom I respect most have many views I disagree with as we've come from different paths.

The "Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram" is a great banishing ritual to focus your intent and the moon has just started waning the past few days, so you should enjoy some fair success with that, but you can repeat it a few times over the next week or two if you would like.

The entity doesn't have any power over you, but it sure can make you fear and turn your energy negative, which is what it wants, so check out my thread "Think With Your Heart," and you can learn to surround yourself with peace and put yourself more at ease.

Feel free to message me if you wish for any advice in private.
10  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Teaching fatigue. on: November 04, 2012, 01:59:19
As most regular patrons of the pulse notice, I often take extended absences from posting on these forums. Beyond the obvious reasoning for this, I too, have grown weary of throwing my opinion into the abysmal sea of other opinions and observations, often made by people who are 100% convinced that they are right and are still, in this age and place of enlightenment, arrogant and stubborn.

That being said, I often come back to help out someone new to this craft of visiting the NPR or those that are confused about "paranormal" and "magick" experiences (which I consider a specialty of mine of sorts, though I don't necessarily practice, nor believe in any specific methodology.) I find guiding newcomers and those with questions to be very rewarding and I often learn from them as much as I teach.

If I have to answer the same question for a million people, I will go out of my way to provide full information each time to the best of my abilities and with a smile, thankful that I'm not answering the same question twice for a single person.

Do you have something better to do with your time than guide a new person on their path?

That's really great of you!
If the little guy used so much of his energy to get into your garage and survive, it's probably best not to, "put him out of his misery." Just make him comfortable and if he moves on, so be it. However small he may be, he still has energy and a life force, so by you giving him good energy these days, he may return the favor later. You're not taking it too seriously, you've just finally discovered your path. Live it, love it, walk it.

May good things come your way.  wink

NoY is much closer to what I am trying to convey than Xanth.

Let me try it this way. Do you know how speed readers can read so fast? They stop saying the words in their head which is typical to how most people think. Now, once you can picture thinking as more of a feeling, or intent, the same way NVC is accomplished, then you can shift your focus from your brain to your heart and achieve an altered view on the world.

Once you have this view, sure, you'll start doing nice things for little to no reason if you wish, but that's not all there is to it.
14  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Think With the Heart on: October 28, 2012, 03:16:31
I was watching "Spirit Science" a while back and came upon an episode that mentioned you could "think" with your heart. Being the curious little scamp that I am, I decided I would give it a try and I was very surprised with the results.
When I first tried it, I simply set more focus on my heart and something changed; it was as if my body already knew how to do this, even wanted to. This shift felt natural. A smile spread across my face and the feeling of ease and bliss filled me. I couldn't believe what I had stumbled upon!
I've been doing this more and more each day, and within just a few days, my friends had commented on a change in my demeanor. They said I seem more compassionate and peaceful, granted they think it's weird, but I feel great and I am infinitely more patient.

I know that some of you will probably think this is simply a placebo effect from watching the video, but if you're skeptical, why not try it out? Simply think using your heart, if you don't like it, or if you think it's pointless, go back to your old ways, but maybe, just maybe, you'll discover what I have and you too can share in this gift.

If anyone else has had this shift, please feel free to share how it makes you feel. Also, anyone that thinks I'm full of it, feel free to share that too.  wink

Good day, and happy travels.

I'm admittedly a newbie when it comes to chakras. I've meditated, and done energy work, but I have never target a specific energy center, or chakra. Honestly, I don't know where to begin, so I want to enlist the help of The Pulse.

What are your favorite resources regarding chakras?

Anyway, I agree that destruction is overused and interpreted more as obliteration these days, but you seem to be having trouble making your point clear.

Have you been taking cold medicine lately? You could have accidentally ingested too much.
This is very similar to the "hangover" resulting from heightened doses of DPH and DXM. (Both OTC cold/allergy meds)

I hate to ask, but it's just a precaution. Anyways, I've had this happen both sober and otherwise. It's actually surprisingly easy to control and manipulate and can lead you into some nice adventures.
21  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Seeing Spirits? I wish to start... on: October 12, 2012, 04:21:30
Opening yourself is as simple as thinking, or rather feeling,
"I am open to all things good and all whom wish to reveal to me that which is unseen in my normal reality."
Presto, keep a dream journal and you will start to notice a very distinct shift in your dreams. After that you may get more and more visitors in your waking hours.
I will lightly touch on a sensitive subject as a fair warning. Not everything you come across is friendly and if you open yourself, you will become what many call "demon bait." Now, understand that I do not personally believe in the existence of demons, so much as very nasty manifestations that have come about from so many people thinking them into existence, but none the less, respect and consider every aspect before jumping into something.

Patience and baby steps will be your greatest aid on your journey. Learn to control your energy and shield yourself before dabbling in anything spiritual or paranormal.
22  Psychic and Paranormal / Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / Re: I KNOW THIS IS A REPOST BUT SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENED AND IM WORRIED on: October 12, 2012, 04:07:57
Alas, yet another post to pull me out of lurking these forums. (Yes, I still read everything.)
As you are on a forum devoted mainly to the astral, I'm inclined to say it's most likely a manifestation of your fears and feeding it is simply cramming more energy into pandora's box.

That being said, I've had my fair share of "paranormal" encounters and found that they work off of the same principle, especially "demonic" entities. The raw energy in fear is enormous, possibly only trumped by love and true happiness. When you are afraid of something you will release tremendous amounts of energy basically like an emotional bomb about the same time your 'fight or flight' instinct kicks in. In paranormal/spiritual terms, aforementioned entity feeds off of this energy much like a succubus feeds from your sexual energy. Calm yourself, meditate, avoid any astral travels and remind yourself that you are truly and absolutely in control of your own world and all that surrounds you.

If you need help focusing your will, the LBRP mentioned earlier may be a great tool to use, as magick is simply focused will and you are under the impression that this force is outside of your control. It's a waning moon, great for banishment, and who knows, it may just give you some peace of mind.

My best guess is that you were in RTZ with reality fluctuations. I recommend that you don't get too hung up on things like this and just go with the experience and take what you can learn from it.

Congratulations on accomplishing your goal and good luck contacting a guide. Smiley
24  Dreams / Welcome to Dreams! / Picking Up Energy During LD on: August 03, 2012, 10:20:58
I became lucid while dreaming last night. Almost immediately I realized there was a lot of sexual energy, but it was foreign and not the typical horny teenager type energy that I'm used too. (Please excuse the crudeness.) Anyways, I continued with the dream but eventually woke myself up because I didn't like how strong the energy was getting.

I asked a friend that I had been talking to whether he had any sexual thoughts about me while we were talking the day before and he admitted to having a crush on me. He's gay and knows I'm not so he tried to keep his feelings a secret.

Is it weird that I almost knew for certain that it was his energy even though he wasn't in my dream?
Has anyone else encountered similar energy intrusions?

In regards to those articles, once August 4th gets here and nothing happens, the believers are going to come up with some completely different 'contact' or 'event.'

I can see it going one of two ways:
- Nothing happens, they say the date has changed due to bla bla, intergalactic calendar differences, bla bla aliens were too drunk... etc.

- Nothing happens, they say there was a major change in consciousness, but only those ready could see it...

These claims have been made a few trillion times throughout history and as far as I'm concerned this is as crazy as the Jonestown or Waco.
