Seems a bit small to be what I was talking about. . . Though did it say anything?
Also what happened before it bit ya?
I heard a voice before it bit- but I can't remember what it was.  Possibly a name, I think  I'm not good with that kind of thing unless I have a pen next to me and write it down fast.  Then it kind of jumped up and bit me.  I do know that I woke up swatting at it and saying a bunch of swear words.  Luckily, my hubby is used to stuff like that.

Ditto on all counts.  I selected it to read it.  cheesy

When did that happen?
I'll have to see if I wrote it in my journal and let you know.  Right off the top of my head, last week sometime.  It's been crazy lately, so I couldn't be sure when. (on edit)-Ok, Nov 10 or 11.  The thing was about 7 inches long and it bit me on the left shoulder.  At the time I thought 'prekundalini thingamajigger?' but the shoulder didn't seem to make sense, and it was wormier than snakeyer.  Sumbich looks a lot like it.

Messy indeed.  It seems to propose different explanations for different objects, as opposed to one for the whole universe.

Yes, and I was bitten by one (I can't remember, but it could have been in the shoulder). Seriously.

What I don't like about the rope climbing exercise is that it gets very monotonous after a few successes with it.
And it can take a loong lo-ong time to project with it if you don't time it right.  Which is why I use it as a last resort, if I'm firmly anchored and definitely in deep trance.

Cross--posted with Stookie.  You beat me by 5 nanoseconds.

Dudes, vibrations are a side effect and not a cause.  Yes, it's cool when it happens but it doesn't make anything happen.
It's a side effect of transitioning- and they don't always happen on the exit either.  So if you want to feel vibrations to feel vibrations then do energy work and meditate until you're ready to fall asleep and stay awake, if you want to project then vibrations may be an indication that it's time to try an exit technique (or energy body loosening technique) but then maybe not.

^ Interesting...

But again what about your awareness? In astral your only aware of your astral body and not your physical body... But again, it could be just a "copy" and the other physical copy could be asleep.

This is only true when you start projecting.  Your mind has the preconceived notion that 'you can't be in two (or more) places at the same time'- but all your subtle bodies are, and your consciousness usually sequentializes what is too much for it and you remember it as a linear happening.  That is why things like precog dreams also happen- the mind can't process 'here' and 'there' at the same time and shows you 'later' in a dream.   But existence is holographic, not linear.
If you project a lot and your mind learns to accept data that it has had to reject or reassemble previously, you start to experience projection as it really happens- all at the same time.  As you get better at it and you learn to handle more, your perception is able to handle more, and it expands.  I remember people in this forum report having two and three different simultaneous points of view (I can only do two).  Once again, the only way to know if this is true is by practicing projection, and doing it for some time.
You don't have to believe me or anyone else- just see for yourself.

Dear Ansub:
There are all kinds of theories about everything under the metaphysical sun, and they largely depend on the beliefs of those who propose them.  You shouldn't 'decide to' believe in something until you've experienced it.
So yes, please project and experience.

However, please know that bilocation is something that we eventually experience with practice- demonstrating, if not proving (for obvious reasons) that it is possible to be in your body and somewhere else at the same time.  Or space.  Or something.
In fact, someone should put out a poll about how many people who AP have experienced it, and how long they've been doing it.

And don't forget the library. They have this thing now where I can get online and have a book from any library in the state sent to my local library to check out. I can find pretty much anything now.
My library has all the above mentioned books (which surprised me).  I don't know who ordered them but I'm glad someone around my town reads them.

For free and helpful material, you could read my website too, lol.
I just bookmarked it.   wink

Apparently you haven't visited the Astral Dynamics forums part of the site, which is chock-full of free information.  Sorry you have already a notion of what information is 'allowed' and what isn't.   rolleyes

Hello all Astral pulse members,

Yesterday when I wanted to sleep I wanted to AP. So I began with visualizing and clearing my mind...After a while..I felt the vibrations. They were so strong. So, I tried visualizing rolling out of my body and looking in my third eye. After looking in my third eye, The vibrations got STRONGER and I got out of my body after visualizing rolling out of my body.

I was in my room. The vision was a bit blurry..I remember I had to focus alot on the thing I am seeing to make it clear. After a while, I felt that this was experience was going to end. I heard that rubbing your hand will continue the experience..I did, but nothing worked. But the feeling was like rubbing your hand when its numb.
There are a myriad of reasons on why this would not work, besides that you don't have 'real hands' when you're projecting, but usually if your body is waking up and taking control it will end the experience.  So the thing would be, when the experience ends, go back to trance and separate again, instead of fighting yourself.

I have a few questions:
1- How can I go to the ethereal while in a AP?
I'm not sure what you're calling 'ethereal'.  Etheric or RTZ are where you were-an energetic copy of your room.  The next 'step', 'layer', 'focus' or whatever you call it is 'Astral', then comes 'Mental', 'Buddhic' and some others that are way 'beyond' that.  Note the quotes- they're there for a reason- this is all a matter of interpretation.

2- How can I will myself to go anywhere I want?
Depends on what you mean by that.  I fly.  If I want to go to a 'higher plane' or whatever you call it, I fly upwards really fast and almost usually end up in an astral environment.  But 'where you want' is contingent upon 'what you can handle' in many ways.

3- Why did the AP lasted a small amount of time??

Thanks! cheesy
Who knows.... But my first clue was when you said "I felt that this was experience was going to end."  This points to your brain going back to waking state.
