Depending on which link you downloaded, you need to change the file extension to the appropriate type.
Give the page a quick read, all the information is there.  Smiley
ah, its because I was left clicking instead of right click Smiley
It was trying to open a new window.
Cheers

You just listen to them and do whatever it is that you normally do.  Smiley

I use one that I made for myself:  http://unlimitedboundaries.ca/2011/02/02/new-4hz-binaural-beat/
Works well for me... I mostly use it though to drown out outside sounds and noises.

Hey, I can't load the link off of the unlimitedboundaries website, ideas why?

5  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Cool experience on: February 26, 2011, 14:54:48
I was dreaming this morning that I was In my granparents house. I can't remember much to be honest but there were a few family members present. I started to have a conversation with my grandad, but then I realized that my grandad passed away several years ago and that I must be dreaming! The feeling of this realisation was great. The people in my dream seemed to become distant or possible disappeared, not sure I as I was so focused on my recent realization.
Then I thought, what do I do now? I remembered that I should be able to walk through walls etc so I tried to put my head through the door! as you  do, lol. It felt REALLY weird but it did work! Then sadly I woke up!
Was wondering if this was a lucid dream or a projection of some sort?
Either way it was great!
This experience has kind of jogged a memory from a couple of others dreams where I have spoken with my dead grandad. I realised then that I was dreaming too. Seems to be a trigger for realising I'm dreaming somehow. Kinda cool to talk to my Grandad tho, even tho it is just my imagination!

Hi I think Xanth has given some valuable advice.
About 10 years ago I experienced very similar problems, not with APing but with the mental issues. I had used drugs as a teenager and caused myself a living nightmare. I'm not in anyway suggesting that you have! But, I feel a lot of similarities between what I felt and what you have described.
I used to take the same type of prescription drugs as you've mentioned with anti depressants. I can honestly say I know of the utterly horrifying issues we can find ourselves in. Ive experienced them first hand.
The only way I got better was to ditch all the books I used to read, Carlos Castenada, Shamanism , Celestine prophesies etc etc . The main thing was getting a regular normal physical life again. It took a long time, I'm not gonna lie. But getting up at the same time each day, going to work, then playing a computer game or watching TV, being around normal grounded people all day. Basically closing my mind from the things I'd spent the previous 5 years using to opening it up. I had to distance myself from the path of self development in order to not completely break down. Guess I just wasn't ready, or most likely for me I went about it in the wrong way!
Ive been pretty sane on the whole for a few years now, still the odd nightmare, DE ja vou , intuitive thoughts but nothing I cant handle. So here I am on an astral projection website! Guess I'm drawn like a moth to a flame when it come to this sort of stuff.
Seriously I don't think I'd be here know If I didn't TAKE A BREAK, maybe only maybe, you should to.
This is a very short description of what I've experienced, for example I spent about 2 years with feelings of de ja vou
all day every day! It was hard to deal with.
If you'd like to know anymore feel free to message me.
Good luck.

Wicked! Thanks very much.

Yeah pretty much, just allow my thoughts to move on as easily as I can without paying to much attention to them.
9  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Trance State.... on: February 11, 2011, 12:11:34
Hi everyone,
I think I have been able to achieve a trance state a few times now while trying to OBE. Unfortunately I'm struggling with progressing from that point onwards, ( which isn't the bad I must admit, as the trance state is very pleasant  smiley ).
I'm assuming I just need to carry on trying, but I was wondering If it's a case of, needing to get into a deeper trance that's stopping me separate or indeed something else?
The trance state I have experienced has been achieved by just relaxing and being passive to any thoughts. I have felt vibrations and heard some fuzzy noise at times. Do I need to focus my attention anywhere ? Or just keep doing what I'm doing and wait?

Hey there. It sounds like you were in a trance or transitional state of consciousness that would've led to a projection. One time when I got pretty far in an attempt to consciously exit I experienced violent shaking throughout my body as well. Vibrations are very common before an exit, but "violent shaking" wasn't the sensation I associated with them. My vibes before spontaneous exits are internal, gentle, and this may be hard to understand but they feel like a harp sounds. Either way, you were pretty close to going out of body so keep up whatever you're doing.

Oh, and you probably shouldn't post the same thread in more than one section of the board. People will get to it if you post it once.

Thank you for you reply,
Ill keep trying !
Apologies for the double post, thought I had posted it in the wrong section to begin with. I'm pretty new at this!
matt.
11  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Opinions wanted please. on: January 31, 2011, 14:15:08
Hi all,
My name is matt, i've just started trying to AP and had a very powerful experience on which I'm trying to clarify what happened.
I lay in bed relaxing and quietening my mind for some time... A think it turned out to be a couple of hours. I had my eyes closed and was trying to keep my attention on the ' third eye ' area. I started to feel vibrations , of which became very strong. I have read about these on this forum so it wasn't a major surprise. The thing is, I think my physical body actually started to shake as well. But really shake fast! A bit like a fit ( I've never had a fit, so I don't know what that feels like but, what I would imagine it to be like ). I felt as if I had kind of separated from my physical body, yet I was unable to move my consciousness away from my head. It was a very strong and moving experience, strangely it somehow felt a bit familiar!
So this leads me to the question of what happened?
I don't think I made a full projection as I wasn't able to move around but something happened!
Also I haven't read anywhere that your physical body shakes during separation, I'm almost positive that mine did!
Any help in assisting me to clarify my experience would be greatly and thankfully received.
Thanks, matt.
