floriferous, that Monroe product is a set of different tracks isn't it? And you go through each, one by one.. when you get accustomed to one track, you move onto the next?

So would you say it matters if you go through the process or you would be able to just go straight to this track you mentioned?

If you are just trying this method then it doesn't matter. Of course if you are trying to use hemi-sync properly then start with intro to focus 10.
127  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: How to indirectly project on: January 20, 2011, 14:42:28

How long do you sleep before getting up and how long do you stay up before doing the technique?

Do you listen to the whole Hemi-sync, I think it was about 30 minutes, or less than the whole?

I don't want to impose any set instructions on time frame because I think that is detrimental as everyone is different and it's about what works for you. But as an example, this morning I was up at 7pm and was back in bed for the exercise at around 8:30. I slept for maybe 8 hours

Yeah, I just listen to one exercise,

I don't see how it isn't a long term approach, though. As soon as I hit the vibes I am on my game control-wise, it's just a matter of taking advantage of the vibes while carrying over that degree of concentration.

I suppose I don't see it as a long term approach because it is not guaranteed and also there is a break in consciousness which seems to numb my non-physical senses than if I do it without a break in consciousness.
128  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / How to indirectly project on: January 20, 2011, 11:25:51
I don't know if this works for everyone or just for me so I wanted to post it to see if anyone else can have success with it. The beauty of it is you simply go to sleep to induce it...

This indirect method works about 70 percent of the time which is pretty good considering it requires basically no technique. This morning I phased 4 times as a result of it.

1. First off it only works for me in the morning time due to the nature of the approach.
2. After being up for a while (sending my partner to work early) I go back to bed to do an exercise - this entails listening to a hemi-sync focus 10 exercise. Something like Freeflow 10. I only discovered this approach through the hemi-sync exercise failing.
3. So after a non-productive exercise to focus 10 I curl into a fetal position and simply relax with the intent to drift off to sleep.
4. From here I either fall asleep or I inadvertently project. I believe the reason I project so consistently at this point is because the hemi-sync has still left my brain in a certain state and all that is missing is for me is to let go a little more which attempting to go to sleep does (if I do fall asleep it is generally down to lack of sleep the night before),
5. The projection occurs one of two ways (obviously this is for me personally but who knows - this approach may yield a certain type of projection):

                          - As I reach the wake-sleep threshold there is a break in consciousness but my critical faculties are brought back to sharpness by certain pre-projection symptoms. For me this is not exactly vibrations but a slight buzzing mainly in my arms then a shift occurs. There is no rising out the body.
                          - Or I suddenly become conscious as an image appears before me that I suddenly become immersed in.

I am keen to see if this is the case for other people. For me another bonus of it (other than being a very simple projection method) is that it restores my confidence a little in my phasing progress. As you know progress can be slow and seem a little pointless at times when you have dry spells. For me this approach acts as something to spur me on and regain my excitement about the whole subject when things seem to have come to a stand still.

However, I do not consider it a long term approach simply because it is not controlled (sort of like the wake back to bed method. Good to get some under your belt and get some confidence up). I do stress though that doing this at night is pointless as you just go to sleep.
129  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: Success with the Gateway Experience? on: January 19, 2011, 12:26:16
I quite like Bobs voice but for me the best is Joe Gallenberger. He does the H-Plus manifestation cd for TMI. Such a soft tone.
130  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: Is this possible? on: January 03, 2011, 15:08:24
TMI use Dolphin Energy for healing. This is a cd which takes you to focus 10 then introduces you to certain tools (the living body map and the energy bar tool in order to fashion your own DEC dolphin) in which to heal yourself or other people. However, it seems to be something of a focus 10 variant in so much as they reverse engineered the brainwaves of noted healers into hemi-sync sounds.

now you're asking yourself if we're swingers...

More hoping really. Any opportunity to wear my strap on bushy tail.

Anyway, back to the point which is I (and I think Im not alone here) cant afford the full TMI price especially considering the flight would be $800 on top of the $2000 dollar Gateway price.

well the one that blis is referring to is in Blackburn
133  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Hemi-sync course in UK on: December 18, 2010, 12:29:48
Thanks for that. Had a look at the website. Only issue is it is more expensive (250 pounds) but I suppose it includes accommodation
134  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Hemi-sync course in UK on: December 18, 2010, 09:51:09
Hey,

I don't want this to be seen as spam as I'm not actualy affiliated with the course I'm promoting. I simply desperately want to attend but they need the numbers first so I thought I do some cavassessing for them.

It's an introductory 2 day hemi-sync course by TMI outreach facilitators near Bristol. In the 2 days they get you simpy to master moving freely between Focus 10 and 12. It costs 150 pounds which I think is very reasonable if you compare it with full TMI course (about 1300 pounds for 6 days).

Part of the reason why I have posted this is because the first dates are set for May, which for me is a long time to wait and I'd like them to bring it forward to maybe feb/march time. But to do this I think they may need to see evidence of interest (which is part of the problem. It seems people in the UK dont know much about TMI at present).

So if you are interested then comment back so I can give them an idea of how many people may want to attend.

135  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: almost won the damn lottery thru a lucid dream..so close on: December 15, 2010, 08:23:42
.....just looked up the number today the number that came out was 931....off by one number!!!!!!! so close.

I'd like to go back to the important bit of the comment in so much as why was it close but no cigar?

Bruce Moen writes a lot about the interpreter/perceiver and astral distortions in so much as what you perceive might not correlate with whats in your memory banks so it creates the nearest possible thing. Perhaps in this instance the numbers were not clear enough for you to see properly and so the interpreter in you presented what it thought it was looking at...an 8. Obvioulsy it was very close as 8 and 9 look very similar.

In future if you get this it might be worth covering a few bases and taking an error margin into account by buying a few extra lines.
136  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: Mass Retrieval Work on: December 13, 2010, 09:47:31
I don't understand how you can help someone who died and they not realize it themselves..?

I remember Frank explaining this so well. I think you can liken it to dreams. When you have a particularly stupid dream (for this example lets say you are conversing with a slobbering sausage man). When you are in the dream nothing out of the ordinary seems afoot. It is only when you wake that you think hang on a mo, that was a trifle silly.

MY understanding is that these trapped souls are stuck in that dream mentality so it seems very probable that they wouldn't know much. It seems only when someone interrupts their train of thought do they take note.

While we're on silly dreams - Last night I dreamt I was baby sitting for my nephew (who is 3). In the dream he was small enough to fit very easily on my hand (fingernail size). I provided him with an equally small TV to to watch. It all seemed perfectly rational to me while in the dream.
137  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Why am I being attacked by deamons! on: December 09, 2010, 09:21:24
I agree with Xanth. Personally, I think there is a lot of info available on the internet that will have a detrimental effect on your efforts. For example all this stuff about the 'dweller on the threshold'. All that serves to do is scare the excrement out of you into believing there is something waiting for you when you exit so when you do finally exit it becomes a thought form so in actuality it is your own creation and would not exist if you hadn't read some inaccurate info on the internet beforehand (if you hadn't guessed already this is what happened to me. When I first started to practicing I kept seeing a black formless entity everytime I was out. Scared the hell out of me. Once I learned what it was it disappeared).

138  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: False awakenings - your experiences on: November 20, 2010, 15:33:54
...After this I literelly had 10-15 false awakenings in a row....

For me this was the reason for the false awakening being scary. For me it happened about 5 times in a row and I thought I was stuck in a groundhog day loop  - I thought I woke up and felt groggy so stood to put some clothes on then suddenly I was back in bed waking up. Fine I thought. Just a false awakening. I got up and went to put some clothes on then was suddenly back in bed again. I remember being a little worried at this point. I got up once more to find once again I am suddenly back in bed. Now I'm pretty worried. It happened once more which left me frantic. I think this was the reason I broke it finally.

For those few moments I was absolutely excrement scared I was stuck forever.
139  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: cinema screens in blackness on: November 12, 2010, 17:14:37
well...isn't that what I just said? The bit about Bob Monroe mentioning daydreaming about a beach.  grin
140  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: cinema screens in blackness on: November 12, 2010, 16:24:51
yeah but dont think maybe a part of me could have still been out of phase with the physical at that point?

After all Bob used to say if you day dream about somewhere like a beach then a part of you is there ever so slightly out of phase. If I was still out of phase the odds are pointing at Focus 21.
141  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: cinema screens in blackness on: November 12, 2010, 13:57:24
Some interesting points of view.

I should add that prior to this experience, which occurred as I was drifting off to sleep, I had been doing a hemi-sync exercise upto focus 21
142  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / cinema screens in blackness on: November 11, 2010, 11:28:08
I have had a recurrence of this now perhaps four times. What I see is depth in the blackness a bit like I am looking at the inside of a very dark box (it definitely looks like it has shape - the inside of a cube). On the far side inner wall is a video screen playing some non-descript footage. One time it was like an old film from the turn of the century. Very grainy and jumpy. I think the content was a man handing a woman a large cake. This morning it was the credits of a film company with their logo.

Up until this morning I thought maybe I'd stumbled in the 3d blackness of Focus 21 and was just viewing a video screen but the are discrepancies with this. Firstly, the space feels cube-like rather that an infinite space and secondly, as I discovered this morning, I couldn't seem to alter it. By all accounts focus 21 is very pliable in regard to you intent. This was not. I seemed to be stuck there.

Anyone with similar account?

Could try having a look at TMI's Going Home series cd's:

nice idea. I'm guessing a porno may be counter-productive.

so what area of consciousness is the API in? Am I right in assuming focus 27?
146  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Astral symbols on: October 28, 2010, 22:16:30
Mine are more like a combination of cuneiform and mayan glyphs. There is definitely a roundedness to the symbols

They are always moving but I can give it a go
148  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Astral symbols on: October 27, 2010, 17:10:52
Hi Flor: They look to me like arabic or hebrew script.
S.

Yes, you're right. It is quite like arabic but with lots of round characters.

I know Robert Bruce talks about astral symbols a bit but he is generally referring to structures and on surfaces rather than floating in the ether.
149  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Astral symbols on: October 27, 2010, 16:26:47
I'm not sure I understand. Can you elaborate?
150  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Astral symbols on: October 27, 2010, 16:13:29
Of late I am noticing a trend in what I see in focus 10. This is non-alphabetic symbols either in the blackness before me or set against astral tunnels I seem to be flying through. I look closely at them but they really don't mean a thing to me. Anyone have similar experiences?

What led to my latest experience was in trying one of Franks techniques. This was the one to connect with guidance where you just imagine a guide coming to you and surrounding you with love and protection. After I had phased into my subjective landscape and messed around a little I suddenly got round to thinking I would try Franks method. As soon as I started thinking about a guide I saw a ball of light before me then the subjective landscape just dissolved to blackness (of focus 10 I think). Then what followed was pattern after pattern of non-alphabetic symbols before me. Couldn't make head nor tail of them.
