I used to use the "Insight Timer" for my iPhone.  It has excellent timer profiles you can set up to wake you up at certain times throughout the night.  You can even use different tones or even vibrate if the tones wake you up too much or there happens to be someone else sleeping next to you that you don't want to wake up.  I still have it on my iPhone actually, but I don't use it anymore.

For at least the next decade... there will always be a few people who want to chat about this stuff on Forums.  Smiley

Yep, definitely.  There's at least one other LD, AP, OBE forum that's still VERY active and has been for many years.

I really need to know how to awaken multiple times during sleep so I can try to do an obe / ld? Any advice?

Have you tried the alarm clock method? has a Lucid Dream Timer.
6  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Is astral projection / obe the same thing as lucid dreaming? on: February 23, 2019, 00:23:36
I was also trying this technique and every time I went to sleep for 4 to 6 hours I couldn't get back to sleep. Should I just try to sleep 2 to 3 hours instead?

You could.  Those are just suggested times for the average individual, but not everyone is the same of course.  You have to really explore yourself and discover what works best for you.

If you're having a hard time falling back to sleep you could try to just lay on your back with your hands to your side and don't move.  Even if you have the urge to move, don't.  This overwhelming urge to move or repositioning your body is your brain's signal testing if your body is asleep or not.  By not moving you are signaling to your brain that your body is asleep.  Sometimes this is a good method to induce sleep paralysis.  Also, don't entertain or focus on the thoughts that flood your brain, but don't try to avoid them either.  That can be just as worse as focusing on them and is still hard to fall back to sleep.  Just let your thoughts flow naturally into and out of your brain without attaching to them.  If you are still struggling with thoughts and emotions that are keeping you awake try focusing only on the ringing within your ears and your third eye at the same time.  This can give you the sensation of 3D blackness, and you have better success at falling asleep.  During this method, you will most likely start to see hypnogogic images.  Keep focusing on the ringing in your ears and the hypnogogic imagery.  The bonus to this is that your brain is actively focusing on just a couple things which is enough to cause your body to fall asleep but keeps your brain active enough to remain conscious - Mind awake, body asleep.

These are just suggestions of course.  There are tons more methods, but these are the ones I normally use, along with some others, to help induce projections of consciousness.  Again, everyone is different, so you'll just have to play around with as many methods as you can until you find the right fit.

The reason I was asking is that I'm trying to do this technique and can't awaken after 4 to 5 hours of sleep to do the obe4u technique? Any advice?

This is the technique I'm trying

There are so many.  There are many sites with many techniques.  Although projections of consciousness is a natural ability that we all have every night we go to sleep, for many people it is an extremely disciplined skill to have conscious projections of consciousness.  In other words, fully aware and immersive conscious projection experiences that you remember upon awakening.  For many people, it requires lots of practice, patience, and persistence.  I have links to many websites that offer many different methods.  For many people, it takes a bit of time to find the right method that works for them.  And sometimes once the method is discovered, that method is not always consistent, and you quite often have to explore other methods.  Some people hit it off immediately and have successful amazing projections, others may take days, weeks, months, and even years before having consistent successful projections.  But it doesn't have to take that long.  It just depends on your state of mind and your degree of intent.

Yes, I agree with Xanth.

I'll put my spin on it a bit, which will be very similar to what others have said.

Yes, they are all the same.  They are just perceived differently.

Lucid dreaming - becoming aware while dreaming and you can manipulate the surroundings in your dreams, hence your own creation.

OBE - It feels like you are wandering around outside your body in the "real time zone", such as walking around your house or flying around in your back yard.

Astral Projection - You become aware of your surroundings while you are asleep except that none of your surroundings are your creation.  Normally you visit people and places you may know or may have never seen before.

But they are all projections of consciousness, just labeled based upon the perception.  Also, you never leave your body.  You are where you have always been.  All you are really doing is shifting your awareness.

It would appear a lot of forums are dying out.  Most of all the old forums I used to visit regularly no longer exist.  Since the days of Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets, forums have just been slowly fading away, which I never really understood.  Forums are structured, categorized, and organized.  It's easy to find information in a thread that was posted years ago.  Finding previous information on Facebook and Twitter is much more challenging, even after a few minutes of someone posting.  Plus forums are much more personal in my opinion.

Anyway, the only two forum sites I have remaining in my bookmarks/favorites regarding projections of consciousness are this site and  I don't really post much, but I've been a member here since 2002, although under a different name at that time.  Hopefully, this site will be going nowhere.

Does Adrian Cooper still own and maintain this domain or has he handed it over to someone else?  I haven't heard from him in a long time.  I was disappointed when he shut down the Our Ultimate Reality Forums.  A LOT of useful information was posted there.  At least he still has the site up with all his writings.

11  Spiritual Evolution / Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Re: The ethical dilemma of eating to live on: October 02, 2017, 05:13:25
Do what you can with the opportunities that are given to you.  If you try to force a situation then you are just creating an imbalance.  For instance, I prefer not to eat meat or any life that does not naturally fall to the ground.  However, considering the System I am integrated into, like most all other people, there are situations where I feel I must eat what I do not desire to eat out of respect for those that are around me at the time we are eating.  At the same time I do not feel guilt or regret.

Another example: I do not avoid driving my car because I know I will kill thousands of insects on the interstate traveling at 75 MPH.  But at the same time whenever I see a spider, a roach, or an ant in my house I do not kill it.  I will pick them up and set them outside.

Also, I view ALL life as equal.  Given that all life IS equal and none is lesser or greater than another then that would mean I would see nothing right or wrong with eating other Humans if the situation called for it.  Personally I would prefer not to eat another Human for the same reason I prefer not to eat animals.
12  Spiritual Evolution / Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Re: Reincarnation theories. What to make of them. on: August 28, 2017, 19:57:55
Hi serge,

First, there is no such thing as "death".  It is nothing more than a human concept, a perception of an event that all experience when the physical body is no longer viable due to age or some sort of physical trauma.  But we do not die.  There is no death.  We continue living as we always have, just from a different perspective of reality where we continue learning and developing as we continue our journey within and throughout Universe and continuously shifting from one body to another through higher and higher vibratory levels of the Universe.  The physical body is a vehicle very much like an automobile, except that our physical body has 5 commonly known physical senses that we use to experience this particular reality.  I'll say it another way.  The physical body is nothing more than a physical interface we use so that we can experience this reality.  When we turn off our car and exit the vehicle we do not say we just died.  The very same thing can be said about the physical body.  When we have left our physical body and moved on we are still very much alive.  Therefore there is no "afterlife".  There is only life.

Second, "time" does not exist except only as a concept as it relates to how we experience this physical reality.  Time is not a constant and has no basis in fact.  Time is literally an illusion.  We perceive time because it perceivably takes "time" for events to occur, objects to move from point a to b, the hands of a clock to move, it takes time to be born, grow old, and "die", etc.  But these are purely perceptions, and nothing more.  Universe is truly infinite with infinite potential realities all existing at this very moment.  The reason we experience time is because we continuously shift through these infinite realities in a linear fashion in the same way that a movie reel moves through a projector.  We just seamlessly move from one frame of reality to the next to the next to the next.  But they all exist right here, right Now.  I like to think of Universe with it's infinite realities as a huge library.  All the books in the library already exist, so I do not see them as existing in a past or a future.  I can pick any book off the shelf I wish to read/experience, but when I finish reading the book it still exists right here right Now with all the other books in the library.

Therefore, given that "time" does not exist, reincarnation can not exist as it is commonly understood with an individual being born then growing old and then "dies" to move on to the so-called "afterlife" where it reflects on the life it lived only to be reborn again into another physical life to hopefully learn from what the so-called "previous life" did not.  However, your Higher Self does have countless incarnations spread across the Universe throughout different timelines as it relates to the so-called "time" we experience within this perceivably linear existence within this physical plane of reality.  But all incarnations all exist at once, each independent from one another.  I believe these so-called "past life regressions" could be just the life of one incarnation of the Higher Self bleeding over to another incarnation, but only for very specific reasons and only as intended purposefully by the Higher Self.  There's a very good reason most cannot remember the life of one or all of our other personalities/incarnations.  That could very likely cause severe mental trauma to the incarnation you embody at your present awareness.  Also, becoming aware of our other incarnations could very likely hinder or alter the path we are meant to be on with this incarnation.  It is also possible you could have one or more incarnations of your Higher Self living right here somewhere on Earth at this very moment in "time" learning different life lessons.  So you could have several you's running around within the same instance of reality.  cool
13  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: What have you learned about the fundamentals of the universe? on: July 15, 2017, 05:20:09
Allow me to disagree. My belief is that "Pure Unconditional Love" is an utopian concept, that would be counterproductive to souls' development. Souls don't incarnate to learn or achieve it. So far I haven't heard a convincing counterargument.

Well, there's certainly nothing wrong with exploring one's beliefs and doing what one feels is most appropriate for their life experiences while on their life journey.  One should always take what they feel will benefit them the most to learn, develop, and progress, and discard that which they feel will not.

However, just be cautious as to not allow yourself to be bound or imprisoned by the beliefs you are exploring.  It is very easy for the conscious Human Ego Mind to shackle one to beliefs and belief systems.  Always allow yourself to be freely opened to All There Is.
14  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: What have you learned about the fundamentals of the universe? on: July 15, 2017, 04:28:34
All encompassing love is an utopian concept. It can't be achieved. Look around!

I'm assuming you're referring to sentimental love, such as the attraction between 2 people where there is sexual love or lust, or the love of family or friends, or where the word "love" is used very loosely as a sign of friendship, and that you are not referring to pure Unconditional Love, which is THE most powerful vibration, force, Energy in the entire Universe throughout all spheres of life and reality, and is all pervasive?

Just to be sure, Pure Unconditional Love should never be confused with sentimental "love".
15  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: What have you learned about the fundamentals of the universe? on: July 12, 2017, 20:33:30
Would you care to be more specific? I think you got carried away by enthusiasm, as people do when they attend a political rally ... smiley

Hehe, well I don't have any interest in politics, lol.  cheesy

Basically every aspect of Universe is within and throughout every aspect of Universe.  If one wants to discover how Universe works and try to unravel it's mysteries, all one has to do is observe and contemplate the world around them.  It is All there.  All it's mysteries could be found in a blade of grass, a grain of sand, in a tree, the ocean, the clouds, the birds, the smallest atom, or the smallest electron, or even the smallest quark.

Also, the Universe holds no secrets.  There are no secrets to unlock.  It is all wide open for anyone to ponder.  If one wants to use Astral Projection to communicate with some "guide" to discover these mysteries then by all means there is nothing wrong with that, but it will get them no faster than what they already have before them now, which is everything they have around them, which includes their surroundings, objects, events, etc.  Every single observable moment is a lesson to be learned.
16  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: What have you learned about the fundamentals of the universe? on: July 12, 2017, 16:09:15
My lessons are here on Earth, which is why I am here.  I'll let the mysteries of the Universe reveal themselves to me bit by bit when I am ready.  However, there's certainly nothing wrong with seeking them out.  Exploring is what we love to do.  That burning curiosity is what drives us to learn.

But on another note, Astral Projection or projections of Consciousness is not a necessary requirement to discover the mysteries of the Universe.  It's mysteries are all around us and within us.  They are everywhere.
Projections of Consciousness are an incredible and indescribable experience to be sure, and pearls of wisdom can definitely be obtained by these experiences, but they are definitely not required to obtain these mysteries or to attain enlightenment.  Everything you need is already right here right now.
17  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: Christmas Topic: During a psychic experience, has someone met Jesus... on: December 26, 2016, 07:37:38
...or guardian angel Michael, and if yes, what did they say, how did you feel them, was it legit? Or said in other words, do you believe Jesus exists, has been born to Earth with higher purpose and now is in a state of pure lights that guards people? If you are skeptical, then why?

Well people perceive all different types of beings during explorations of consciousness that they label based upon their programmed beliefs and perceptions.

As far as Jesus existing, I have not seen any record outside of the Holy Bible of any individual known as Jesus ever existing.
18  Spiritual Evolution / Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Re: What to expect with a spiritual awakeing on: December 01, 2016, 20:58:53
Well, abilities are just abilities and really have nothing to do with one's spiritual development.  Natural abilities of the non-physical are not required to service others, nor are they required to attain enlightenment or a "spiritual awakening",  nor do these abilities make one more spiritually enlightened or advanced than those who do not use those natural abilities or have yet to realize their natural abilities.

I think helping others with spiritual abilities is great.  But it is also just as great to service others with any ability.  Any service provided to others selflessly without any expectation for compensation, reward, or even recognition is a great way to improve one's spiritual development as well as a great benefit to society.  The method in which to service others is irrelevant.  "Spiritual" service, such as energy healing, medium work or channeling, is no lesser or greater than any physical selfless service.  However, I would be very wary of mediums or channelers.  They are quite often influenced by false entities portraying as someone else or the interpretation is heavily skewed by the channelers own ego and already deeply embedded beliefs and perceptions.
19  Spiritual Evolution / Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Re: What to expect with a spiritual awakeing on: December 01, 2016, 07:25:27
Also, maybe try not to see a path as "right" or "wrong", but rather life's journey in whatever direction you take as really just an experience that you can learn from.
20  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Thoughts on this guys view of AP on: September 12, 2014, 19:16:17
Also, keep in mind that everyone has their own unique journey to travel.  This guy, like everyone else, will have their own perception and interpretation of the reality they are experiencing around their self.  I'm sure he feels he's doing his duty to serve others.  That of course is the ego at play.  But the information one presents based on their experiences is and will always be relative to the individual presenting that information because that information is assimilated from his own unique experiences.  In other words, it's just information.  It can either be explored or tossed aside.  For myself, from what I did watch, I pretty much tossed everything he said aside, LOL.  But it was still somewhat fascinating to observe his own interpretation of this natural event.  Each individual has their own unique perspectives and perceptions that are limited exclusively to that individual.  While the video can be quite entertaining to watch, there is absolutely nothing right or wrong with his perspective, because they belong to him, and he is the one who must learn from them in his own way.

And even though his view on astral projection may conflict with what astral projecting actually is, his view is still necessary and appropriate for him because again that is the path and journey he has chosen to travel upon.  Sometimes when I go hiking through the woods I like to go on a different path than everyone else, which is usually no clear cut path at all, and I'm squeezing through a bunch of bushes and shrubs just to see what appears in the clearing.  wink
21  2012 and The Transition of the Ages / Welcome to 2012 and The Transition of the Ages / Re: veil questions on: July 01, 2014, 10:01:56
i was wondering how long the veil will take to go down??

As long as it takes for you to remove "it".  The only "veil" that exists is the one we place before our self through beliefs.

and was it said that it would go down in the mayan prophecies cause i heard it was.

Unless the Mayans know you personally, then no.  And even if they did know you personally the answer would still be no.  So called prophecies are chosen, they are never given, nor are they inevitable.  The same goes for predictions.  Anything and everything we experience is completely and totally by choice which therefore renders all prophecies and predictions in and of themselves irrelevant.
22  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: can you lose fear of death? on: June 14, 2014, 23:03:16
I read it many places that you can in fact eliminate or reduce the fear of death if you are an astral projector.

Are there any experienced projectors that find this is true?

Yes, this is true.

how has your outlook on death changed since you have been doing this?

It confirms that there is in fact no such thing as "death".  The term "death" is nothing more than a concept, a perception.  The transitional event itself, no matter how horrific or how peaceful it is perceived is nothing more than an experience.  It is not a finality.  You WILL be still alive after this transitional event commonly referred to as death.

are you totally confident that death is just another type of OBE experience?

"Out of body" is yet another perception.  There is no out of anything.  It's really nothing more than a shift in consciousness, a shift in awareness.  Once the physical interface known as the physical body our conscious awareness uses and has been attached to is no longer usable or viable, your reality has shifted and transformed, or transitioned to a reality that matches your beliefs and vibrational frequency.
23  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Can you see what COULD have happened in your life? on: January 04, 2014, 19:56:55
but Tom Campbell has relayed an experience whereby he ran through a "what if" scenario regarding if Hitler had won WW2.
He ran it right up until present day, and he found, strangely enough, that things didn't really change much.

Which actually makes sense considering the nature of the Global System.  It doesn't matter who's in "power" or who wins what war.  The System will still be the System.  wink

Of course he also has many other BINs/ISOs.

I always download all my Youtube videos using a plugin in Firefox called Download Helper.
