1  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: how do i etheric project? on: June 29, 2014, 17:07:37
I find that it's easier not to pay any to ethric planes, astral planes, or even air planes. The goal is to experience the non physical reality and not to confuse yourself with classifying it into many different planes or dimensions. smiley
2  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: How To Astral Project Consciously Using Sexual Energy on: June 28, 2014, 02:39:33
I'm sorry to disappoint you but many cultures have used sex in all its forms in order to reach different states of consciousness. A quick internet search will show you quite a bit.

3  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: Did anyone take a LONG time to project? on: June 27, 2014, 10:26:18
You said that you have already projected from dreams so you shouldn't really be too concerned with making a conscious exit. The destination is the same as is the experience so you already have a projecting technique that works just fine.

I know some people place a higher value on conscious exits but I have had both and don't prefer one over the other. smiley smiley

Unless it is important to your spiritual beliefs, I would suggest postponing the energy work until you have had personal experiences that lead you to believe that it is important to you. Don't get caught up in trying to incorporate many different tools early in your explorations. They can be a hindrance at times when you attempt too much too soon.
4  Psychic and Paranormal / Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / Re: Haunted house on: June 26, 2014, 17:45:27
I usually discount most stories of a haunting because all they have to go on is a "bad" feeling and one or two explainable events.

Your case seems different, however. If is upsetting your family, then you should turn to your religious faith if you have one. If you don't, AAAAAAA gave some good advice as many cultures have used white sage for a cleansing and so long as you believe it will work, haunting or not, you will be fine.

Discussing our reality and the endless variables that may or may not be influencing our experience of it is a very exciting subject and one that we welcome more people to engage in. However, we feel that astral projection and out of body experiences are a subject matter that should only be explored by people who are not dealing with mental issues and are prepared to accept that a successful experience can be life changing.

There are many illnesses and mental conditions such as schizophrenia, PTSD, and severe depression disorders to name but a few, that can be exacerbated when one with these conditions tries to explore different states of consciousness.  If you suffer from any condition like the ones mentioned or think you may be, please seek help from a doctor and tell them your feelings about this and listen to what they have to say first and foremost.

It is also our position that these explorations should be undertaken with a clean mind and body. There are no taboo topics here and mental conditions and drug use are a part of our reality and can be appropriate for discussion but only for academic purposes, meaning they are only up for discussion as to what role they play in our theoretical understanding of the larger reality. Questions in regards to how much of a supplement or drug should be ingested (even legal ones) are not our area of expertise so please refrain from asking and use common sense before posting similar questions. We, the staff and members, can not diagnose an illness or give advice on these matters other than to possibly point you in the direction of a qualified practitioner which you must then seek out and find of your own accord. You may relate your personal experiences with using varying substances but please refrain from making any recommendations of usage.

10  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Have you learned any lessons about religion while astral projecting? on: June 21, 2014, 09:54:56
I got into all this while I'll was still a devout Catholic so I had a great deal of fear that I was forfeiting my soul. All i learned was that no religion has a monopoly on the truth of spirituality and some have even corrupted it for their own agendas.

I've since come to believe that the reasons most religions condemn this practice is because many of those who do ,come across with the belief that we are a very bit the creator as we are the creation. That is a dangerous threat to religions who demand complete obedience to their dogmas.

I believe that this has made me a much more compassionate and less selfish human being. I am now more spiritual and feel a connection to the universe that makes me considerate of others and their pain. With that said, many people actually feel more deeply for their respective religions and that is a beautiful thing as well. I see no harm that can come from this. smiley
11  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: True fears? on: June 21, 2014, 09:45:49
I've already said this a few times already but I'll say it as many times as I have to. You will be surprised what you are actually capable of confronting. Many people actually laugh at themselves for being so fearful in the first place.
t
You would be doing yourself a huge favor if you stay away from the fear mongering threads. Most of them are complete nonsense. Another problem that comes from reading those fear threads is that you will come across a scenario that you had never considered personally and all that happens is that you make someone else's fear your own.

My only "warning", if it shouldn't even be considered one, is that you should prepare yourself for the possibility of having your view of reality flip around upside down. This can cause some anxiety for some who go into this hinking that all that's gonna happen is that they might fly around their city for a bit. grin
12  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Describe the places do you go during Astral Projection. In Detail on: June 19, 2014, 08:38:44
Many of my experiences would be boring to anyone but myself and it's almost impossible to adequately describe the truly remarkable ones. It's more than what you see or how beautiful the colors are. It is the emotions and the feel of the great ones that really set them apart from a typical OBE. When something touches you like that, it automatically becomes deeply personal and you just want to keep them for yourself. You just know that no one would truly understand just how important it was to you. I've told a gf of mine about one of my most memorable experiences and it created a rift between us. She didn't make jokes and I believe she really tried to understand it's meaning to me. We never talked about it again but I know in my heart that the day I told her was the beginning of the end for us. To be honest, it wasn't even fair of me to have told her in the first place because I shouldn't have tried to let her in on something that meant so much to me when I knew I wouldn't be able to describe it properly.

So when Lion said that there are certain things we can't talk about, I completely agreed. Whether it's the astral po-po or our own higher consciousness that makes the rules, I can't say because I don't know. But I do know that we are shown somethings that are supposed to remain private.

Most people who are just becoming aware of the larger reality can't wait to have their minds blown because they have read so many great accounts but I think some are confusing the well known NDEs with OBEs. While the two experiences are very similar in many respects, I have a nagging feeling that NDEs might be a bit more revealing.

The above experience related from EV is an excellent example of how there are many different ways to experience time besides our own and how unusual it is when you do.
14  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Reincarnation Question. on: June 18, 2014, 11:35:24
Whoever it is that's responsible for our lessons knows that the best way to teach us a lesson is to have us live through it.

I believe for this reason that the NPR is all about puzzles, quests, riddles and adventures. It's up to us to de-cipher the meaning of all of these events ourselves!  wink

Being able to discern the whats, where, whys and hows of these events, etc., is a big part of our evolution.

I can't argue with that. It doesn't matter how many times something is explained to us, true understanding can only come from experience. Besides, once you're on to something, the NP has a way of letting you know you're on the right track. The really important matters are reinforced with both positive and negative experiences. We get to see both sides of the coin, so to speak, and this leaves a lasting impression.
15  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Reincarnation Question. on: June 18, 2014, 10:44:43
I only meant that no being ever told me that this is how it works. While I do believe that I have been shown several past lives, they appeared to be linear in nature.

However, other experiences that dealt more specifically with time or time was a theme, have led me to mostly disregard linear time.

Too bad that no one ever just gives us the cut an dry. It's always riddles. undecided
16  Astral Chat / Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: Reincarnation Question. on: June 18, 2014, 08:35:12
The paradigm that all time and space and therefore the events that occur all exist at once has never been explained to me in an OBE but I do get that feeling and some theoretical physicists believe that this is a better view of our reality and that it ties up more loose ends.  If you prescribe to this belief and I personally do, then you can see that you are currently experiencing many incarnations simultaneously. So it would be possible for you to die tomorrow and then reincarnate in the middle ages. You may not even be an Earthling on the next go-around, who knows for sure. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to say that you would become aware of that life experience since it would be the one that you are grounded in.

In the immediate moments that follow our physical deaths, I imagine that we will still be thinking of time as we experience it now so we would want to reunite with out lost loved ones. Since this seems to be the case that is most often reported in NDEs, I'm inclined to believe that the people as we knew them to be, wouldl not want to reincarnate until everyone that they are connected to in the physical world has also died and transitioned. It may be selfish of us to want them to hang around for us since I'm sure they still have some more evolving to do but this would also depend on how time is experienced without a physical body.

I'll end there since I am only confusing myself. huh grin

17  The Astral Library / Welcome to Writers Corner! / Re: Our Mind Is the Limit on: June 18, 2014, 08:07:11
Poor Lolita. Did you get a chance to say good-bye to her in the hospital room? If your story is true and not just a humorous anecdote, then you must have met the George Carlin of spirit guide life reviewing monks as he seemed a bit judgmental and lacking of sympathy for stupidity. I don't believe I've ever heard of a life review in which the guides judge someone personally, but with your great sense of humor, he seemed quite appropriate for you and would help put you at ease.

So did this really happen? I only ask because it is a new article and the series of events seem outlandish but then again, most people don't get the chance to relate the preceding circumstances of their death so it may not be all that bizarre.  You're one tough cookie if you can ride around all day in the open air with burns that are severe enough to prevent future hair growth.

In any case, I'm glad that your still here and get to enjoy your birds for at least one more day. Should you ever get another hamster, please take it easy on the little fellow. Fat hamsters have feelings too. I enjoyed that. grin

The transition occurs instantly so you may have "clicked" in and out with out noticing a difference. But the way you described it happening makes it sound like an imprint was occurring. The suddenness can be startling. Don't be surprised if you find yourself there again.
19  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Describe the places do you go during Astral Projection. In Detail on: June 18, 2014, 02:23:02
I know this doesn't sound like much but one of my most memorable experiences was in the RTZ. It was in my old apartment when I was still in college. Everything appeared to be identical to this reality. This happened very early in my explorations and I was ignorant to the fact that most RTZ experiences are rarely exact (if ever) to the real place.

Experience has since told me that there were most likely many differences but I couldn't point one at the time and this left a lasting impression with me. Like I said, I know that doesn't sound like much but most people who have had many RTZ experiences can understand why this one would stick out.

Most of my experiences usually occur in Earth-like environments so I always assume that I am in on Earth even though the colors may be exceptionally vibrant.

One recent experience occurred in the ocean, or more precisely, a bay cove.  It was as night and there was a full moon that appeared to be twice as big. It reflected quite a bit of light. The water was very calm with small ripples. A small island was in front of me and it was close enough that I could have swam to it.  I remember there being one large house built on stilts and it was surrounded by tall palm trees.

Behind me, I could see many houses that were all lit up in different colors but they were too far off to really describe their structures.  My vision underwater was just as clear even though it was at night. Seahorses, about a foot long in length, were everywhere. They would allow me to get close but would never let me touch them.  They were brown in color but they had bio-luminescence abilities and would glow green as they would seemingly bounce and not swim away from me. But they distanced themselves from me all the same.

Jellyfish were also everywhere but they were about the size of a small car and were easy to avoid. They too would light up and gave off a purple glow with hints of red and green. It reminded me of sparklers on the Fourth of July (or whatever holiday that you celebrate with fireworks).

Naturally, there were fish of all colors though none were very big. I also sensed an orca (killer whale) nearby.  It always stayed just out of eyesight. I had a feeling that it was a protector or guardian of the cove and it would have tossed me out of there if I showed any bad intent. At times, all the marine life seemed to move in a choreographed dance.

Just imagine a Disney cartoon with all the exaggerated colors and you should have a clearer picture of what it looked like. I've never watched a whole Disney cartoon and it has been years since I've seen a part of one at all but they could have influenced my perception of this experience. I enjoyed my time there very much but the orca's presence never allowed me to completely immerse myself in the experience. smiley smiley
20  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: can you lose fear of death? on: June 16, 2014, 23:03:41
It's easy to see that the common denominator is the belief system of the person who has died. This is why I think atheists seem to have some of the more depressing NDE's. They pass expecting nothing and when they realize that their physical body wasn't the end of existence, they tend to panic and this can bring about all sorts of crazy and scary stuff.

Naturally, some relish the new experience and don't report the hellish type scenarios.

Powessy, your description of this so called fifth dimension sounds alarms bell. I have only heard of the the Cassiopean cult say that the so called fifth dimension is where those who have died go. All the other cults just say the fifth is better than the fourth and so on and so on. So if your involved with those people, I assume the "dark ones" you refer to are the   reptilian people.

If you are, you should do your self favor and leave those loons.
23  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: can you lose fear of death? on: June 15, 2014, 01:18:15
I have no fear of my death but I do have several ways of dying that I hope aren't my fate. I do fear that others that I love will not be able to handle my death in the ways that I will be able to but that is beyond my control.

I've lost three people through suicide and they were all dear to me. I have also prevented the death of a total stranger who was hanging himself. I got to him in the last few seconds. The EMT's estimated that the guy had another ten seconds left before it would have been lights outs. His eyes were already bulging and the tiny blood caps in his eyes had already burst.

I was serving a six month sentence in a county jail. He waited until everyone else in the eight man pod had gone to sleep and then he slowly wrap his sheet around the railing of my top bunk and then slung over an eight foot shower wall that I was sleeping next two. I was asleep at the time but I heard what I thought was someone having a seizure on the shower floor. In a sleepy haze, I rolled over so that I could peer over the wall but it took a sec for me to realize what was happening. That was a very eerie yet gratifying experience. The bonus was that they commuted my sentece to time served in released me the next day, a month early for helping the gut. No, I'm not some hardened criminal. I was there standing up for my rights and now I'm glad that I was.
