I have to agree with everything Lumaza said in his previous post and will emphasize that motion helps. The motion can be a object, an activity or your body in motion. I think motion ties in with action, that's the one thing that seems to be a requirement for creating anything. That might not make a lot of sense right now but it will in time.

I'll add that when you are journaling be sure and capture not just the scene but the smells, physical sensations, sounds, colors. Anything that sticks out to you.

And YEP, that whole dream within a dream within an awakening thing... Bazar, crazy, wonderful, puzzling <- notice how 3 of those words have zzz's in them, lol.
Thank you!

Your welcome, like we said, you are doing fine!  smiley

Journaling is a great idea. So is using affirmations before you close your eyes to go to sleep. Use affirmations that are "already done or happening", like "I am consciously aware in my sleep, knowing I am sleeping. I remember my experiences when I awaken for the day". You will find that repeated use of nightly affirmations will lead to repeated LDs and OBEs.
That sounds like a LD that turned into a "false awakening", then back into a LD again. Those really catch you off guard, lol!

Speaking of the movie Inception, I began to use the same focus target that Leonardo used, his "spinning top toy". I use it as a focus in my Phase sessions though. I will imagine it and hold that imagery, then just observe as it morphs into something else. When it does, I continue to passively observe it with a air of curiosity. Soon a whole vivid scenario will begin to appear. I observe that until I am now fully immersed in the scene, then I react. I use the focus of a simple candle flame in the same way. Motion based sports work great as well. I find the target needs to be something that has motion.
Oh, cool. I'll try those. Thanks!

Here are my answers based on my own personal experiences.

Thanks, Lumaza. Sounds like I’m on the right path. I am a “rule follower” and like Nameless said, I feel like I need to do “every thing just so” and imagine that if I do, it will all start falling into place. I guess our experiences can be as unique as we are. Your shower experience, for example--I’ve never heard anything like that before. I’m sure there are so many wild experiences people go through as they make their way into this new and fascinating NP world.

I continue to practice each time I find myself waking up during sleeping hours, and I meditate once each day. After hearing your response and the response of Nameless, I believe I can say I’ve had, at least, three OBE experiences where I was lucid enough to remember them (especially that third one, like I mentioned…so awake and aware!). Anyway, that’s motivation for me. It’s like a little reward for the work I’ve been doing. I’m also journaling my dreams which is helping me remember more of them.

Night before last, I did my usual practice but this time I chose to create an image in my mind (flying over the ocean…one of my favs) and try to… is it called WILD? Anyway, I went straight into a lucid dream flying over the ocean. Ah! Just loved it…but short lived. I fell into a dream, still pretty vivid but forgot I was dreaming. But get this… (so I’m in my bed asleep) I dreamed that I was chatting with a friend and said, “Let’s go back to sleep…I’m gonna try to AP.” I fall asleep on the couch and then AP and walk about the house. Then my AP turns into a dream and then I wake up (in my dream). And then I wake up for real. LOL So, while in bed sleeping, I dreamed that I fell asleep on the couch, APd and then dreamed and then woke up. Hope that’s not too confusing. The whole thing reminded me of the movie, Inception (I assume you know it) which was what I had talked about the day before this dream within a dream thingie. Strong subconscious. Sheesh.

Oh no, I just checked. I think he will come back. He just needs to take some break from people that are attacking him. Some of them are calling him satan and that his gift is from the devil LOL. I just think that these people need to not follow him. Why follow someone that you dont like or dont agree with their beliefs. But there are so many people sending him these messages and commenting during his sessions. The majority of people though admire his selflessness and post their feedback from his healing. He was also going to do a tour in the US with John Edwards, but was cancelled due to the virus. Next year he is set to do it and will be touring most major cities in the US. Hopefully when he rests a little he will come back online because he is helping hundreds of people with his remote healing sessions. At least that's what I see when people comment.
Let us send him some healing energy! <3 <3 <3

Sending healing energy his way. By the way, there was a show on TLC called "The Healer". Charlie Goldsmith is from Australia and he has incredible healing abilities that take effect in minutes. If you follow him on Facebook or Instragram, he does maybe once a month remote live healing sessions for the group. Many people comment that their conditions improve dramatically, especially if they attend several sessions. He does  not charge, does everything for free, even if someone gets lucky to book a private session. But he doesn't do these often due to the hundreds of people requesting them. You can watch the show on youtube and if you believe he does have abilities, you can sign up for his notifications so you will know when the sessions are scheduled and have your son watch. you dont have to do anything, just relax when he starts sending energy.
Something must have happened to Charlie. All his social media was taken down within the last few days. I wonder what happened? sad

1. Felt SUPER strong vibrations in the middle of the night in late 2019 (only days/weeks after looking into all "this stuff"). Didn't hurt but felt like my physical body was probably reacting like when someone receives a defibrillator to start their heart again.
2. Yes, sometimes I get very heated and know my temp. within my body is going up (reminds me of hot flashes...I'm going through that "change of life time" as I'm now in my early 50s). I can also get so heated, I sweat sometimes when trying to have an OBE! Ugh!
3. The one time I felt SUPER strong vibrations in late 2019, I heard/felt a wind and the most beautiful chimes...most amazing music.
4. Yes, for sure eyes twitch.
5. Yes, some shapes and colors can appear but it's not that vivid.
6. Yes, heart palpitations and/or heart beating faster.
7. Hmm... not loss of breath but needing to breathe more intentionally to "catch" breath.
8. No physical pain.
9. Yes, body twitching.
10. No sleep paralysis.
11. Yes, hearing loud sounds and sometimes voices.
12. No hand touching me...probably because I have put out my intention that that would freak me out.
13. Yes, to astral wind... that one time (#3)... both heard and felt it.
14. Inner vibration/chills... I feel like I can bring this on anytime I want. (Huh not sure what that means)
15. Phantom/etheric body movement... I have felt both jerking movements with fingers and hands and a bunch of sloshing with my head and body which is pretty typical when I meditate or become aware out of a dream state.

Hi All!

I've been practicing lucid dreaming techniques and OBE/AP techniques for about 8 months now. I've had 4 lucid dreams where I realize I'm dreaming and then I take off flying into space or over the ocean or go to a distant land. They are so vivid and real. I really love it. Wish I could become aware in my dreams more often.

I also have been trying out the wake back to bed method (sort of...I basically just realize I'm coming out of a dream, stay very still to keep my body sleeping and begin focusing my awareness on intent to have an OBE) and I also try afternoon meditations. Two times in the last month, I thought I was detaching from my body and walked out the bedroom door only to realize it wasn't my house. The first time, the whole thing seemed to turn into some kind of weird dream (fuzzy, not vivid like my LDs) in a house with my kids. I think it was related to the fact that I had strong intent to have an OBE and go to my older son's room and heal him. Anyway, I don't know if that began as an OBE and I "lost" control of my awareness and it turned into a lucid dream.

Question 1): I know one can go from LD to OBE or AP. Is it possible to go from an OBE into a lucid dream state or dream state?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The second time that happened, I was coming out of a dream in the early morning hours and felt that usual buzzing sensation when coming out of a dream, and then felt a slight snap or disconnect of some kind. I got out of bed and walked out the bedroom door, only to see once again that it wasn't my house. I could see only what was in front of me (not peripherally) so I said, "Clarity now" and then my physical eyes opened up and I was in bed. Not sure if it was an OBE or... something else? Like the one I mentioned above. But I did feel that snap which was new to me. I felt I had sort of disconnected from my physical body.

A couple days later, I was coming out of a dream in the early morning hours, felt the buzzing sensation and let myself "go with the flow" (& sort of go deeper with the sensation) and felt a definite snap or disconnect and knew my "energy body" was floating inches above my physical body. I was very aware, like when I'm awake. No question. I had intent to begin floating off to the side so I could stand up. I began slowly floating off to the side, but my husband turned over in bed and I came back to my body. This just happened the other day and I'm very excited because I KNOW it was an OBE. I was so much more aware than the other times. But I tried again this morning, and felt the buzzing and simply couldn't get to that same "go with the flow" feeling... it seemed like I couldn't get to "that place" where the sensation could go deeper.

Question 2): Can we be less aware for some OBEs than others? Meaning, feel less *awake*? Like I mentioned, this last OBE I was so aware that I felt awake. Oh, and I could still sense my physical body breathing in bed at the same time, but my awareness was "more" (nearly all) with the "energy body" that was floating than the body in the bed. I felt fully awake as I floated there.

Question 3): Any advice on how to get that back? I was super disappointed that I couldn't do it again this morning because I *thought* "Oh, now I know for sure what it feels like to separate so surely it will be easier next time."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During afternoon meditations (even when I've had plenty of sleep), I find myself falling into sleep when trying to get to the buzzing stage that I easily get to in the early morning hours upon waking from a dream (I often fall back to asleep, of course, during those early morning attempts as well). During these afternoon meditations, I say "falling into sleep" because I usually pull myself back to focus over and over and over again. I don't usually fall asleep. But it's a struggle. I have the jerking movements, my body feels loosened, like sloshing, and sometimes on and off tingles but I can't seem to get to the "disconnect".

Question 4): What am I doing wrong? Any advice on that?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question 5): I enjoy Tom Campbell's MBT material. Are you all familiar with his material?
I feel a bit discouraged as he says that we don't even need to do these techniques; we should be able to go from "here" to "there" in our consciousness without too much fuss. But I feel like I do need these techniques to help me progress. I suppose with many years of practice. smiley

Hello!

I began praying for my son recently that his pituitary gland would grow, become healthy and whole, and begin functioning normally. I've been watching Tom Campbell's videos and I've become a believer in healing. He was born with next to no pituitary gland, which causes all kinds of issues for him. He's 23 and has to be on all kinds of hormones to function normally. All his other glands are fine but since his pituitary gland is not functioning (only slightly), it's unable to tell his healthy hormones to send off what he needs like growth hormone, cortisol, testosterone, and thyroid. His name is Austin and we live in So. Cal. (if that info is at all helpful).

Thank you for any healing energy sent his way.

It's not any different. The key is to strengthen your ability to hold onto that focus until the "natural shift" occurs.

Okay. Hold the focus. Should I allow my eyes to drift here and there or should I strain to keep them focused on a particular dot of light? It's just a bunch of scribbles and whatnot of light behind my eyes. Not sure what particular piece to focus on.

Just curious, what's the rush? You are fortunate, when I first began practicing non physical exploration, it took me anywhere from 45 mins to an hour and half to be able to get into a good deep relaxing mental state. Now it only takes me about 2 minutes. But that came after a lot of practice. I questioned every little thing that happened. Things changed when I was told to just passively observe everything and allow things to happen the way they will. There was plenty of time to question it afterwards.
Twenty minutes is when I begin to relax. I lay there for up to two hours, sometimes, just focusing.

I think you need to learn something that most of here already have and that's that you need to change your mindset on things. By changing your mindset, you change your reality. Check out this video link, It has been very helpful to me. I have my own process for that begins with a quick mantra that I visualize as well. By asking "who is it" that is seeing, hearing and feeling while I am focused on the darkness before my eyes, it somehow deepens the experience. Sadhguru and Deepak Chopra talk about that very thing in this fantastic video.

From what I have read from your previous posts here on this Forum, you have already had a number of non physical experiences, it's just that for some reason your expectations seem to be getting in the way. Whenever you find yourself in a experience wherein you are not consciously aware of this "physical" waking reality here in this realm, you are then in a non physical realty. It can only be one of two things, waking reality or non waking reality, also known as the Astral, Otherwhere, etc.

I know the non-physical is real. I have experienced it several times in my life. I do have high expectations because my belief is all there. Maybe I'm too grounded? LOL Expecting too much too soon...the story of my life. LOL

I allow my Dreams to occur unabated. I am consciously aware in them what is occurring, but I don't attempt to change the narrative. Instead, I find out what the purpose of that Dream scenario is itself. I keep the fact that I am Lucid in it as far back in my mind as I can. I found that too much focus on the fact that I am lucid in the Dream ends the Dream right then and there.
Perhaps I need to find contentment in simply tuning in to the purpose of each dream. But, yes, it seems as soon as I realize I am lucid it ends the dream. Interestng.

You are welcome!...

Hello again! Not much success so far. I haven't had any other lucid dreams. :-/

When I try to project during the afternoon, I simply allow my body to think I'm going to take a nap and when I start to slip, my mind wakes up and I begin to focus on the blackness behind my eyes. I'm not sure how this "technique" is different than focusing on the blackness behind my eyes right away. It takes like 20 minutes before I'm deeply relaxed, so that's a lot of focusing. So, I changed it up and just allow myself to almost fall asleep before focusing. Is this okay to do? Also, I don't really get any distinct images, let alone 3D images, during that time. Is that okay?

Many nights I find myself "coming to" every couple  hours, probably as I am ending the sleep cycle. I try to focus my mind but I usually fall back to sleep. I have been having/remembering lots of crazy dreams. The other night I felt something strange happen, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I *think* I was dreaming about something first and then as I slowly came out of it, perhaps I began to subconsciously try to project? My body felt like it was being... massaged and as I "came to" I realized it was my astral body feeling the sensations. It was different than the vibrations I had felt before but it felt similarly exhilarating. I suppose it could have been related to some kind of transition. When I was totally awake, I wondered if I had been groped by "another" or if it was just my own energy. I really couldn't make sense of it. I wasn't afraid as I sat there. I was kind of irritated, though, like it had interrupted my process of projecting. Any thoughts on that odd happening?
18  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: The Astral Pulse Hotline on: October 02, 2019, 09:55:37
Thank you so much for your reply, EscapeVelocity. Your words are very encouraging to me.

The few times I have become aware I’m in a lucid dream, I seem to automatically “come back” to my body. I think it’s because when I first read about going from LD to AP it mentioned coming back and then projecting from there. I think my subconscious is a powerful thing. grin I need to remind myself that I can project straight from LD to AP without “coming back” to my body. You are correct, when I come back I get stuck even though I’m right on the edge. :-/

Your comment that my Higher Self wants me to realize the distinct differences between states is interesting to me. Since I began researching this, I have been very fascinated by the nuances of each state.

I will definitely begin your suggestions of reprogramming myself with pre-meditation affirmations to get rid of all the fear.

I am excited to see what happens tonight and in the early morning hours.

Where is the best place to update on my progress? Here? Or another thread?

Thanks again for your insight and encouraging words!
19  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: The Astral Pulse Hotline on: October 02, 2019, 07:21:13
Hi All! I thought I'd ask for any advice if that's okay.

I just began trying to astral project from a meditation state about a month ago. I’ve tried in the morning, afternoon and evening. I also learned how we can AP from a lucid dream, so I also began the process of trying to become aware of when I am in a dream. The following has happened five times so far. I am aware I am dreaming. I “go back” to my body and begin vibrating. The vibrating just happens. I don’t make it happen. The vibrating seems to last about 15-25 seconds, I suppose (although it’s hard to be certain). The first time I vibrated, it was intense; and I also heard a rushing wind and beautiful music. It was a fantastic experience. The next four times I vibrated were soft and pleasant. I heard a soft wind the second time and not the other three times. I’ve tried to exit during vibrations, and I’ve tried to exit after the vibrations have subsided. One time during vibrations, I lifted my astral arms but couldn’t sit up, so I lifted one leg but couldn’t lift the other. Then my body woke up and the experience ended. I was not totally sure whether this lifting of my body parts was a dream or the astral body. Although, it felt quite real, physically. This last time upon “coming back” from a dream and the vibrations came on, I felt my head sort of come back into position and softly adjust to the comfort of my pillow (I realized later, it was actually my astral head I felt). I then instinctively (because this is how I prepare to meditate) pulled my hair back (I don’t like it touching my face or neck), I put my head back down on my pillow and put my arms to my side. Again, I realized later this was not my physical body doing this. When I “came to” and the experience ended, my body was on its side and NOT on its back at all, but I definitely "physically" felt all these motions when I was doing them (in other words, it was NOT like when I dream and feel nothing physically). I have tried to exit using the rope method, the lines of force method (this method seems to do something in me like make me feel...dizzy), the floating up method while also picturing the ceiling (and I do feel a bit of sloshing in my head), and lastly, imagining myself standing in front of my bedroom door with my hand on the doorknob.

I have a feeling that part of the reason I haven't been able to project is due to fear. I'm a recovering fundamentalist Christian (LOL) and I recently came across The Law of One where the ET entity who is called Ra (social memory complex existing on higher level of consciousness, who also happens to have evolved from Venus) said that one must be careful exiting the physical body. (Another similar entity Q'uo said something like that as well). There is supposedly a chance (although slim) a negative entity (existing on a higher level of consciousness) can *trick* a novice into following them to a negative space/time existence and their physical body will die.

Okay, I know this sounds very new age and being that my personality type has always sort of gravitated to the spiritual, this is what I've been reading. However, I *don't* want to get all fundamental about it, like I did with Christianity. That's the last thing I want to do! But I know myself and because of some of the things I've read, it's now in my subconscious and now I have to work harder to get past the fear. When I read that about a negative entity being able to do that, in all honesty it didn't resonate as something that could happen. I'm trying harder to trust my gut these days.

I don't think my gut is taking over yet, though. Two times this week, I dreamed I was in a house (first dream with my sister and second dream I don't remember who but it was more than one person) and went around closing all the windows and shades in every room. In my dream this morning, I saw that some gorillas got loose and I wanted to shut them out (I had watched a sweet gorilla video the day before). Some of the people in the house with me deliberately went outside to see the gorillas. I heard them laughing like they were having fun with the gorillas. Something about these dreams made me think maybe I was still having some fear to explore and maybe the folks who went outside to enjoy the gorillas were another part of me saying, "You're missing out."

So, I thought maybe I should focus on WILDs for now. From what I understand, one waits for hypnagogic images and that's sort of a window into a lucid dream. I just started practicing that. Seems so similar to what I do when trying to deliberately project (OBE). But, unfortunately, I don't really get much of those hypnagogic images. Not yet anyway. I'll keep trying.

Well, that's it. Any advice? grin

I find that your point/quote here "Void / 3D Blackness – door to astral planes and beyond", says it all. Once you learn to get to the Void/3D darkness repeatedly/on a regular basis and can hold that state, reaching all the other "densities, realms, dimensions, whatever term you wish to use, becomes achievable, but only when the time is right. There is definitely a lengthy learning curve there though. Practice, Patience and Perseverance will show you the way!  smiley

When I was new, I was shown, via a Phasing experience, what could be. This came when I found myself on some kind of bullet train, traversing through the many "levels" of existence. I couldn't exit the train. I could only view it as the train whizzed by. It began in the lower regions and quickly elevated until lastly we entered a area of pure light. The whole adventure ended then and there. Just experiencing this white light area briefly, was a profound experience in itself.
My seeking into this was from a recent experience of a friend taking his own life, me having a crazy dream about other worlds a few days later, and then having a supernatural(ish) experience with regards to my friend who passed. I found out about astral projection and began applying the techniques I had learned.  About a week or so later in the middle of the night, I woke up three different times and tried to focus my mind. I woke up so why not?. Anyway, at one point I recognized/realized I was dreaming that I was asleep (in my dream I saw myself sleeping on my bed...it was a dream for sure and not astral projection); I had what felt like a momentary recognition in my conscious awareness that I was aware that I was dreaming. I focused my attention on a small light in my peripheral (I did this in my dream, but I think I was consciously doing it). I felt a little anxious and scared as if something not good was going to happen. Suddenly, I felt a surge of vibrations throughout my body, I saw (through my closed eyes) a goldish light emanating from my body, and I heard distant sounds of something like a marimba or xylophone. It only lasted for about 15 seconds, from what I could tell, and then simply faded away. It was quite startling. As the vibrations came on, I pushed away any negativity and…sort of received/accepted love. My essence was full of love and I simply kept repeating "I love you" (in my mind? I assume, although I felt like maybe I was whispering it in physical reality with my actual mouth) as the feeling was overwhelming and it was all I could do in that moment. When I "came to" I tried to go back into that "dream state" and do it again but I couldn't. I've read that many have vibrations just before astral projection but it's not necessary to project.

Very interesting, thanks for posting this. I remember the Ra material mostly from what I read about ancient Earth history and Mars because it interested me back then.

Interesting to ponder: Is the Ra material (model) the only and first one who mentions "densities" instead of planes, focus levels or dimensions or whatever or was it just adopted from earlier models/material by the Ra channellers who had to translate what they received in their mind into earthly concepts and language. So all this new age "ascencion to 5D" talk would originate from the Ra material? Just wondering.
I don't know if The Ra Material is the only and first one who mentions "densities" instead of planes, etc. Good question.

It's been years since I read some of it. Interesting stuff for sure.

What are your crossover areas, any examples you can give?
1st – 3rd density corresponds with Focus 1 Physical Realm & Focus 2 Dream Realm [singular consciousness level; development related to physical experience; being, movement, self-awareness]
Void / 3D Blackness – door to astral planes and beyond
4th – 6th density corresponds with Focus 3 Astral Realm [collective consensus level; development related to social experience; love/understanding, light/wisdom, unity/balance]. Where we begin to merge with one another becoming social memory complexes (i.e. “angels”) and learn to “settle” into one another more and more to achieve perfect balance.
7th density corresponds with Focus 4 Divine Realm [Gateway/Our Goal]. Where social memory complexes begin to merge with The Divine.

The density in which we “live” = our Primary Focus. But we can “visit” other densities by shifting our focus. (Our primary focus remains where it is while we “live” there even while we visit other densities through shifting focus temporarily)
For example, as long as we have a physical body, our *Primary Focus* is Focus 1 which corresponds to 3rd Density. After our body dies, our *Primary Focus* transitions to Focus 3 (unless we must reincarnate into another 3rd density) which corresponds to 4th Density. Our *Primary Focus* remains in Focus 3 throughout 4th through 6th Density. After we learn all the lessons of those Densities, our *Primary Focus* transitions to Focus 4 which corresponds to 7th Density. (Perhaps this is when our astral body “dies” or is no longer needed at all.)

Thank you all for your interaction with me. Great stuff here and much to think about. Appreciate your time! smiley
