1  Energy Body and The Chakras / Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Re: Strong energy sensations/chills while listening to classical/mystical music on: December 08, 2009, 05:00:48
Hi,
I am pretty sure I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. Is it the same as when you get goosebumps from something really emotionally stimulating? I have always felt these chills when I listen to really good music, even more so when I hear a really good singer. I even feel them at good parts in movies or maybe when my team scores the winning point and such. Does it start at the base of your skull and travel down throughout your body? It is a really nice feeling, I agree. The thing is, I can now intentionally reproduce the "waves" "chills" or whatever you want to call them and have found that the more I practice with them the easier and more intense they can get. I'm not sure exactly how to describe how I can make them happen, but it is kind of like I take a breath in and sort of 'flex' the back of head/base of skull. I've always had an inkling it was some sort of healing energy, but I really don't know what the heck it is...

Wow, I've never felt anything like that. Well, except after doing breathing exercises for a few minutes, but that is just my body getting all tingly from all the oxygen, you know, like hyperventilating lol. I keep trying to project, but I just can't.
3  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Vibrations on: September 02, 2009, 05:56:05
I was wondering what these vibrations feel like for all of you?
My experience is that when i close my eyes and begin to relax i feel like i am bouncing in and out of my third eye area. It feels literally as if one were to take a video camera and zoom in and out really fast. I have compared this to vertigo but its not like it is an uncomfortable feeling, i dont feel sick, and when i open my eyes i feel normal. Is this something that anyone else experiences, or is it more likely something a doctor should check out?

Today I was sitting around at my girlfriends house, sitting on the couch I was in the middle of conversation when above me, more diagonally right and left, I see many little bright pieces of light. It looked like confetti made out of bright light, This lasted for maybe 7-10 seconds. I moved my eyes closer to focus on them, but when I tried they disappeared. This was really crazy, nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I felt almost as if I was on a drugs, but I wasn't. I was wondering if anyone had some insight on this. Should I see a doctor? This was one of the strangest things to ever happen to me. It was completely random, at no specific time, I didn't even feel in a relaxed state when it happened. What is going on?

You saw many of them? I see little bright pieces of light out of the corner of my eye too. They are usually a vivid blue (rarely white) but I only see one at a time. I did however see a larger blob of blue mist at one point but usually it is these tiny flecks of light.

I went to the optometrist and they checked for a detached retina. It's very important that you go and get this checked out. A detached retina has symptoms of unexplainable lights and it could lead to being blind. My optometrist could not find anything wrong with my eyes, so I went to another and they also said my eyes were ok. Guess I am seeing the real deal.

Yes, I saw a lot of them, 10+ on each side. (That's an estimate, but it was definitely more than one) And it wasn't like they were a part of my eye because when I moved my eye they stayed in the same place in the room as if they were apart from me. If it was my retina, wouldn't it of moved with my eye? I wonder if there is a proper name for these things? Anyone know?

I haven't seen them since that moment. Sometimes I think I see little blips of them also, I dunno I kind of want to see them again. They were pretty cool...

Supposedly if you switch light switches in a dream, the light will not change and you wil know you are dreaming.
7  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / An ordinary view of the world on: January 18, 2006, 00:08:04
I heard a quote a while ago talking about how every one of us views the world around us. It goes: "The world that sponatneously appears around me when I open my eyes is an odd mixture of external nature, mental imagery, and inherited prejiduce." I was just wondering how accurate of a description is this of everyday experience? What does it mean? (random thoughts ok)

Your daughter sounds very special. Thanks for your input, it helps a lot. When this happened to me, it kinda scared the sh*t out of me, not because they were scary but because I thought I was going crazy. For the past couple days I have been seriously questioning my sanity.
9  Metaphysics / Welcome to Metaphysics! / Creative Visualization on: January 17, 2006, 23:49:21
So...anything would be possible? If I wanted to make a loved one who is dead be alive again, would I be able to? I'm not saying I would ever want to do that, but how is that possible?
10  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Bright peices of light on: January 17, 2006, 23:38:29
Maybe, it all sounds very possible. However the lights I saw weren't so much the typical orbs I see in pictures or on videos on ghost shows on the discovery channels and such. I mean they could of very easily of been the same thing, but this looked more like a bunch of sparkles of light in my peripheral vision, when I tried too see them clearly they disappeared. They weren't circular either, they just looked like, well, bright sparkles of light. Very similar to the sun reflecting off the surface of a lake.

I always see the time 4:20 when I look at the clock. I mean this happens a lot. However I only think it is because whenever I see the he clock and it is that time, I always notice it, it just pops out at me. I'm sure I look at the clock many more times in a day where it is not that time, and so I just brush it off. I don't think 4:20 or anything is a message to me, or means anything.

Quantum Physics suggest the same thing as well...

Where how what?

OK, when I said this, I meant that quantum mechanics follows the same idea of matter being able to be changed by thinking about it. For me, it is hard to explain, here is something I found useful and easy to understand, I got it from another post:

Our world can be divided into 3 levels,
Microscopic, Mesoscopic, Macroscopic levels
At each level we perceive matter differently.

Mesoscopic level is where we live, is at which our normal life goes about.
Macrosopic level is where stars and planets live.

Make a guess, what laws of physics govern the Mesoscopic Level?
Bingo! They are Newton's 3 laws of Mechanics.

The acceleration of an object is proportional to Force applied to it.
F = ma

Now what laws of physics govern the Macrosopic Level?
This one is what you could only learn in University.

The answer is General Relativity. The theory discovered by A. Einstein.
General Relativity says the space is NOT FLAT!

What do you mean the space is NOT FLAT?
Imagine you draw a straight line on a world map, from New York to Shanghai.

Now imagine what the straight line would be like, if you have drawn it on the Earth. It is no longer a straight line but a curve traversing half a sphere connecting the two cities.

You see the space is not flat at all.
The same thing happens in the outer space, between star and star.

Quantum Mechanics is the physics governing the microscopic level, the level where atoms and elementary particles live.

Imagine a coin lying on the table, it could only be one of the two possibilities: HEAD or TAIL.

But for a coin rotating on the table, how would you describe it?
Your best answer is that the coin is 50% HEAD and 50% TAIL.

Quantum Mechanics say this is precisely what happen at microscopic level. That's you are not 100% sure, what happen to an atom.
You can only tell how much chance it could turn out to be this way, and how much chance it could turn out to be that way.

A Mesocopic object, like a car, can have only one value of Energy at each instant. If a 500kg car is traveling at 5 metres per second, the Kinetic Energy is (1/2) times 500kg times (5 metres per second) squared.

But a Microscopic object can have more than one value of Energy at each instant!

It is possible that an atom has 1 calorie, 5 calories, 10 calories Energy value at the same time! All you need to find out is the chance, the probability of the atom being in each Energy value.

Imagine a person walking from home to school, how many paths is he taking?

Note, I am asking how many paths he is taking NOT how many paths he can take.

The answer is ONE of course, he could have taken a shortcut, he could have wandered around the neighbourhood, he could have chosen a zig-zag-like fanciful way of walking.

The point is, once he has made up this mind, now he is on his way to school, he is taking only ONE path.

This not happening to an atom which is billion times smaller than us. the atom is taking multiple paths when moving from one point to one point!

when you observe it, the atom will appear to be at one point, for you!
When you do not observe it, the atom appears everywhere again, countless possibilities.

Bizarre? That's Quantum Mechanics.

Me TOO
16  Metaphysics / Welcome to Metaphysics! / Creative Visualization on: January 11, 2006, 06:15:06
I've got a couple questions on this topic. I read this book about creative visualization by Shakti Gawain, it was very interesting. It claims that by visualizing yourself in a situation enough times and in the right way, it will be bound to happen. I agree with this claim, I have had a couple experiences where this has seemed to work out. Quantum Physics suggest the same thing as well. I was just wondering if there are any limits to how far I can take this. Could I for example, change my natural color of hair, eyes, skin, etc. Could I make a tattoo dissapear on my body? On someone else's body? Can I even affect other people? Really I'm just looking to start a discussion on this topic, so any thing you have to say will be great.

The brain is capable of many things. Honestly I don't know what to think about this.
19  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / A Thought on Astral Projection on: December 26, 2005, 03:37:33
Since DMT has been found to be naturally produced in the brain, as well as the effects of taking it being drastically similar to the experience told when someone is APing, including the vibrations, isn't it entirely possible that all an OBE is is just a rapid release of naturally produced DMT in the brain?
DMT is said to be a stronger hallucinogenic than mushrooms and LSD. Couldn't experienced projectors just be really good at unknowingly releasing large amounts of DMT into their bloodstream?
This is very interesting. What is there to say that an OBE is not just a wild hallucination produced naturally in the brain?
20  Energy Body and The Chakras / Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Endorphin's and DMT on: December 26, 2005, 02:20:02
So is that all OBE/AP/NDE's are? Just DMT released from our brain? Wouldn't it be possible that that is all an out of body experience is? Nothing more?

22  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Project to find Gov't Secrets on: December 07, 2005, 22:15:53
Thats all very interesting. Does anyone want to try to project to as close as they can get to area 51 and post here what they encounter? (I would do it, but I can't yet)
23  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Project to find Gov't Secrets on: December 07, 2005, 06:27:29
Hey, if it is true that you can project into the physical reality, and see what is happening at the moment, then I'm wondering why doesn't one of you project into area 51, look around, and tell me what the f*ck the government is hiding? Or why can't you project into the white house and find top secret information, anything along those lines, find bin laden, you know all that stuff. Does the government use this ability to their advantage? Do they even know about it? Just looking for some answers guys.

P.S. I thought it might be important to add that I have not yet achieved an OBE.
24  Metaphysics / Welcome to Quantum Physics! / What the bleep do we know!? on: November 30, 2005, 23:52:55
Okay well, if we really do create our own reality, then wouldn't everything you are reading now just be made up in your own head? Well if that was true, then I guess we WOULD be making up our own reality. Damn, that is confusing. I'm gonna ponder that one for a while. It's crazy, like what would happen if a snake ate itself? I've asked teachers and many people this question and no one can come up with an answer. Think about it. It seems that its tail would just keep going farther and farther into its body, and it would get smaller and smaller until it just dissapeared and ate its own head. Turn inside out maybe. Yeah im just rambling on now... but seriously, WTF?

Wow, good explanation for why HPPD happens. I never thought of it that way. You're right, I have always been afraid, like many HPPD sufferers that i have popped a nerve in my brain or something like that. I like your way of thinking about it better.
