1  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Permanent Astral Topics! / Re: Validation thread! on: September 26, 2009, 03:42:43
The best validation I have ever had was the day after a very intense episode of astral sex with a young woman I knew. When I saw her the following day, I started the conversation with, "You know, I had the strangest experience yesterday. I could have sworn you were with me." At that point she began laughing, and described in detail when the event had happened, and what--exactly, and in detail--had happened.

Before that, I had not mentioned the event to anyone else, so there was no possibility of collusion. The details clearly established--to both of us--that for some period of time the previous day, we had been involved in astral sex for an extended period of time.

One thing that may seem surprising. We were both awake at the time. Specifically, we were both physically awake, geographically separated, and at least marginally functional in the "everyday world" while we were also together having astral sex.

This event enabled me to gather a number of similar validations, when I realized that the "walking, talking" part of us is only a part, and that "other parts" of us are able to interact with others in the OOBE state. That is, OOBE is more a case of "getting out of one's own way" rather than learning to do something new. It may be that the key is simply accepting the complexity of our own existence, rather than thinking "I couldn't have been there, because I was reading a book/watching television/walking in the park here at that time. Perhaps the world is not as comfortably linear and sequential as we would like to believe.

Sounds like a neat technique, and the "stay awake for 24 hours" may well be the key. That is, spontaneous OOBEs are definitely more prevalent after extended periods without sleep. Many descriptions of spontaneous OOBEs (as opposed to planned) involve periods of extended wakefulness. Whether truck drivers, soldiers in combat, or emergency personnel working in a natural (or manmade) disaster, the extended waking seems to facilitate OOBE in a number of people.

This may sound silly, but the best technique is need. If you actually need to do something that requires an OOBE to accomplish, you are far more likely to be successful than laying on your bed wishing and hoping.

Necessity also tends to bypass the ritualistic "techniques" that seem to go on endlessly with little or no effect. Unfortunately, OOBE is like a lot of other things--practicing failure is not a good way to succeed. Specifically, there seems to be little point in continuing to "practice" a technique or process that has been a failure for weeks, months, or hundreds of sessions. What, exactly, makes you believe that "today will be the day that it works" when it has failed dozens (or hundreds) of times before?

I know a number of people who are adept at OOBE. In nearly every case, the initial experience resulted from need, not desire--they needed to do something, be somewhere, learn something--impossible under ordinary circumstances. Of that group, not even one was able to achieve OOBE through ritualistic practice of techniques. Further, in years of associating with people who do OOBEs, I have never encountered even one who was able to develop the ability--they either had it or they didn't. If they had it, it could be developed, but if they didn't, all the training and practice in the world can produce little more than a subjective experience impossible to externally validate. Internal experiences are not OOBE.

In that sense, OOBE is a bit like remote viewing; as Joe McMoneagle observed, if a prospective remote viewer doesn't have the ability coming in the door, he or she is unlikely to have it walking out--regardless of how many hours of training and practice are involved.

Does that mean that only a realtively few may be capable of OOBE? I don't have a clue, but it would be an easy conclusion to reach, given the number of people who intensely desire to do it, and the relative few who succeed.

Yes, periodically for a number of years. There are some things about it that are a bit different than many may believe.

First, it is almost always related to a state of sexual frustration--the tension seems to attract any number of willing participants. The more tension, the more willing (and the greater the number of) willing participants.

Second, it may be "romantic" in the sense of one person being psychically attracted to another, but this is rare--it is much more frequently a simple case of "energy imbalance" (as Monroe described in JOB). That is, there is a sexual tension that "attracts" another (compatible) partner, who "balances" the energy. Specifically, in many cases astral sex is a very pleasurable "balancing of energy" that is translated to the nearest equivalent in the physical form, which is sex.

Third, it may be "exclusive" in the sense that one person can focus so intensely on another that he or she is able to have shared astral sex with the other person, experienced as fully and pleasurably by the other as by the "instigator." I have encountered a number of people who were able to "interact" with others during astral sex almost as completely as if they were having physical sex. That is, for all practical purposes, the emotional, psychic, and physical stimulation, pleasure, and satisfaction is at least equivalent to physical sex, and in most cases, better.

The "how you do it" part is a bit more difficult. In essence, you want it to happen. That wanting creates a tension, or pressure, that attracts others. The more tension, the more attraction.

I am definitely not talking about dreaming, lucid or otherwise. Astral sex is interacting with another, while dream sex is just dreaming. They are totally different experiences, and if you have ever had astral sex, it is so much more intnese, and so much more pleasurable, that "dream sex" pales by comparison.

Very important consideration, just as with every other type of OOBE or psychic experience--external verification and validation is essential. If you perceive that you are having astral sex with someone you know, that validation should be easy. Validation may be more difficult if you don't know your partner(s), but it is no less essential. Specifically, if you are having astral sex with soomeone, it should not be a major problem to discover that persons name and location, for verification. If you cannot communicate well enough with your partner(s) well enough to discover such information, you might question whether or not you are actually having astral sex, rather than an erotic fantasy.

While all the talk of "soul touching" sounds very romantic, it is much more a simple case of energy balancing. Remember, the more tension, the more attraction. Sexual frustration is a deplorable (and totally unnecessary) state in the OOBE state.

Finally, is it necessary to be "out" of your body to have astral sex? Not at all. The tension will attract eager and willing partners every bit as strongly if you are "still in the physical."
