1  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Re: Is astral body out during Lucid dream ? on: August 12, 2008, 15:50:43
Need some help from all here.

Thanks french, but I am talking of the opposite case. I have had lucid dreams which totally appeared an OBE untill woke up and felt that it was just a lucid dream.

So is there a way by which one can know whether he had a lucid dream or an OBE ?
2  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Re: OBE/AP for spiritual growth on: August 08, 2008, 14:39:28
Thanks Stookie. My question is more like - what are possible experiments one can try while OBE that gives more insight about further realms / realities ?
3  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Re: Is astral body out during Lucid dream ? on: August 08, 2008, 14:30:51
Since in dreams (even in lucid dream) we just observe or just follow whats being shown (we don't even question highly impossible events and things), and in OBE, we have the awareness to do things consciously, I feel they are different.
4  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Lack of control during OBE on: August 07, 2008, 16:08:55
How can one improve control during OBEs ? I have tried commanding/requesting to go to particular places - but sometimes nothing seems to happen and I remain there as is.

Someother times, on requesting to go to places, I seem to flow flow and flow (or fall, fall and fall), without reaching  anywhere - has anybody experienced this ? What could be happening here ?
5  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Cure for etheric/astral blindness ? on: August 07, 2008, 16:04:28
What is the cure for blindness during OBEs/APs ? I have tried commanding/requesting for more clarity and awareness, but nothing seems to happen and then I probably reach a dreamy and unaware state.

What are possible uses of OBEs/APs for spiritual growth?
That is, what efforts can be put by an individual during OBEs/APs for spiritual development. e.g. seeking knowledge from higher beings (how?) / meditating while in astral (is it possible?) / astral lessons (how?).
7  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Re: Is astral body out during Lucid dream ? on: August 07, 2008, 15:47:27
Ok, so it may or may not be the case. I then want to ask - what exactly is a dream ? Does it have any "real" siginificance or its just a playback by subcouncious of various things it percieves in councious state ?
8  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to OBE discussions! / Is astral body out during Lucid dream ? on: August 06, 2008, 16:27:25
Is our astral body out during a Lucid dream (like in OBE/AP)?
Or is it just the same dreamscape (like usual dreams) played by subconscious, and we just feel it more clearly ?

If its out, whats the difference between a lucid dream Vs AP during experience (i.e. except how it starts) ?

9  Spiritual Evolution / Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Past life regression on: June 01, 2008, 01:25:25
Can anyone tell where to get a past life regression hypnosis therapy done ? If anyone has gone through it, how was it and what could you learn from it ?

11  Spiritual Evolution / Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / A very basic question about Law of Karma on: April 01, 2008, 17:03:27
I have a question about the law of karma.

Since others can affect an individual's karma, how much is the individual responsible for the "reaction" karmas ?

For example, lets say an individual is all well, thinks good, loves all and does good to all as much as possible. One day, he is robbed bad by someone (bad karma ? ok the "someone" will face the consequences), but as a consequence of robbery, the individual looses all his possesions, his friends , relatives quit him (please dont judge them) and he is alone, thrown in the corner by world and treated badly by one and all. In such situation, out of frustration, if this individual does a bad karma (lets say steal something/hits someone) - then (1) will he have to face the consequence of this bad karma ? Because if he was not robbed - which was totally a karma of someone else - he would not be stealing, rather than giving away love and peace and help? (2) In his bad times if he still keeps on the right path - will he attain much more positive karma rather than when he was doing good karma while wealthy and capable ? - since he is walking the right road even in difficult times ?

Please dont "stick" to the example scenario - its just an example - request everyone to think about the actual message in the example instead.

Hey Stookie, No problems, and Thanks.

13  Dreams / Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Unusual dream : My first Lucid Dream ? on: January 18, 2008, 20:46:25
Selski,

Thanks for comments. They were very helpful.

Analyzing, I don't think it was a completely lucid dream, since the dream was still like the usual dream, the things and scenes and events were coming and flashing - I could not stick to a particular scene and in fact did not continuously have the intelligence/wish to do so (like in usual dreams) - I just flowed with the dream and kept remembering to do those checks at various points - so overall partial lucidity and occasional realization I might say.

Overall, I think I missed the basic command after realizing that I was dreaming - "CLARITY NOW!" Smiley Does that help ? Or the dream turns Lucid and clear as soon as you realize that you are dreaming ?
14  Dreams / Welcome to Dreams! / Re: Unusual dream : My first Lucid Dream ? on: January 18, 2008, 18:43:48
Stookie, Thanks for your comments !

Few questions though :

So you mean that when LUCIDITY is on - it feels like real world (with dreamy stuff around) ? Like you can turn right-left, or walk in the dream scenery - at your will - like real world ? Suppose you see a flower pot, you can go to it and see its details like real world (although it might be an altogether strange flower pot since its dream) ? Means in Lucid Dream can you controll your body and your movement  completely and interact with dream scenery as it real world ?

Because as far as I know, in dreams one only sees glimpses of things - we don't overall perceive a person or thing - just a flash of everything - for very short span of time - but you say that in Lucid dream you can see things - including your own hands and legs - and perceive them very well without confusion - like real world - the only difference being that the dreamy stuff will be strange as compared to real world ? Can you continue staring at your hands in a lucid dream for as long as you will ?

On browsing to my pic in my computer, and presseing "change profile" - the next page says "The attachments directory is not writable. Your pic/avatar could not be saved".

Whats the issue ?
