Hi I was wondering if this was true or not. If your physical body gets touched during astral projection  you will die.

I got this information from Franz Bardon's Initiation into Hermetics.

If I could get a few verifications weather this is true or not that would be helpful thanks.

I actually studied a little of Franz back 20yrs ago, a lot of the materia was interesting, too esoteric and very complex. Had real fun dunking my head in water for "clear seeing"...Smiley

To answer your question, no you will not die if your out-of-body and the physical body is touched. I have had my wife hold me while OBE during the night, no problems. I even had my scottish terrier dog "Leroy Brown" for experimentation on the bed while video recording myself during the OBE - no problems there.

18  World Religions / Welcome to World Religions! / Re: I have two questions about astral projection and the bible on: May 29, 2008, 07:25:44
Zorgblar,

I'll make this simple and hopefully clear up any concerns about the bible, devil, and
out-of-body experiences.

First, I have been a constant weekly projector since 1987 w.o missing a beat. I have had a my good/bad OBEs, educational, spiritual, you name it.

In the twenty years plus, because of my OBEs I a hospice volunteer to the dying, foster care mentor to a teenage girl, attend church weekly (christian), never been to jail, booked for crimes, killed anyone, pay my taxes, am a IT consultant, author of a upcoming book, guest speaker on radio shows, family orientated, adopting a child from china, stopp'd drinking alcohol socially, exercise, college educated etc. Okay, I have said enough..Smiley

If the devil is in anything of this - I fail to see it. Do I have my flaws "Yes" just like everyone else, but am I doing something about it to be a better person "You Bet". I don't pretend to know it all, but experience outweigh's opinnion.

First hand experience, education, and intent is the key to better understanding Out-of-Body experiences vs. opinnions and lack of knowledge. I am not bashing your loved one's, but like yoda said "Fear, Unknown, Leads to the Dark Side". This is where experience, education and "One's Intent of Projecting" come into play that removes all of this.

I sat down and set up a discussion with my local minster and he was with me on the Out-of-Body experiences based on my "Intent" and what I have done for the community. I thought he would start throwing Holy Water on me, instead he said that it is a legitimate religious tool.

There are millions of ways to reach God and help people... OBE is just another path!

What I said is available on my web site www.invisiblelight.us

Hope this helps!

Hi David,

I watched the movie just the other day. I liked it and like you said, it pulled at the heart strings!

Another movie you might like is "The Celestine Prophecy". A little "New Age" but it tells a story that is ageless!

John

I rented the video out, watched it and honestly was weak IMO. Maybe the book is a better read, I don't know. But something about the whole movie didn't flow. Everything happened to quickly and was forced acting.

Well, I appreciate the info. you gave me on this - It is definitely a one-time movie to watch. There were some cool stuff in it about "seeing" auras, energy etc.

Jezsika,

It is all about trial and error of learning. It doesn't matter who you are in this world, your experiences will always range from short to long lived. Even the projectionists that have been doing it for many years have their good and bad days at projecting..Smiley

Jub Jub,

Long time no chat eh!

I read the book up to the fifth person then switched over to the movie. I don't know if it was me, the tv but my wife and I had a difficult time hearing the dialog over the background music.

Anyways, still a great book/movie!

I will check out your recommendation! I really enjoyed James Redfield book "God, and the Evoling Universe".

Jezsika,

I respect the beliefs of all religions, faiths, and practices which makes this a interesting topic to discuss. I do not want to dwell into "who is right or wrong", but the truth of the matter is that we live in this world that there are too many opinnions trying to say otherwise w/o first hand experience.

Think about it this way - you study a course, master it and receive an 'A' for the semester. Now, you think that your ready for the world, apply your knowledge and conquer. But when  you take the first steps, you realize the experience is totally different. This is not what the professor told me, or that example does not fit this scheme that I studied.

This applies with spirituality and out of body experiences. It does not push you away from your beliefs, deepens them but also open you up to a wider perspective of what do people really know w/o experience.

How can someone claim that out-of-body, near death experiences are the devils work, or the wrong path to travel. Point blank ask that person - Have you ever experienced the OBE thousands of times?

Don't get caught in the trap that if I follow this religion, I won't project, or spent one month on binural beats and nothing happened. There are no fast food drive thru's to projecting - it all takes serious patience, time, practice, whole hearted passion and devotion with intent! I am a christian, follow God but I have a wider understanding through experience and am so thankful!

Technique's that are out there are great ways to introduce you to these vibrations, get you to feel what it's like. But your true inner-self will find a way to project, no matter what it
takes using positive actions. There are no magic pills to projecting!

Remember, this is a lifetime commitment, not something you strap on and the way you go. You have to give everything!

You are more welcome to visit my web site - www.invisiblelight.us You might find a few
ideas to help.

Thank You,

Tvos

Lume,

You don't have to travel into the higher planes to find God, angels, devas, beings of light etc..
In matter of fact, you don't even have to project to find God. It's in front of you, behind you, inner, outer, visible/invisible, high, low, between, beyond, past, present, future and so fourth.

Think about it like this: look at the world, the sun, the moon and how exact the alignment is, perfect w/o error. We need this to survive! So did man/woman create these planets? no.

Look inside the biological, chemistry, genetics, of a human being. Could woman or man build the complex structures, components that keep us running? Sure we can reproduce, give birth - but what brought us here?

Another simple example, look at the animal species and how many different breeds there are in the world. Can man or women make these different species?

When I first started projecting it was for fun, learning, crusing around picking up astral chicks burning a lot of energy..Smiley But during the course of my twenty years at it, eventually you dive deeper into the spiritual components, study different religions, philosphy's, beliefs. When you base *experience* of projecting first hand and see what is out there and compare it towards the worlds beliefs and experiences. There is only one conclusion - there is a wizard behind the curtain and the different tongues of the world express it as *God*.

I have been blessed and honored to witness angels in different experiences and I tell you it really sends you into complete shock, lost for words, and absolute pure love and beauty of what is possible through the OBE.

There is no fast food drivethru to projecting- you have to work at it, be open, test it, challenge it and most of educate yourself. It all takes time, practice, trial and error and there is no arrival. Many of the best known projectionists have their good days and bad at projecting. There are times I have a split second I am out, but return or a good 5-10mins.. As long you can achieve projecting, learning the trick on understanding how it feels, works, emotion involved that will be your key.

I encourage you to document statstically your success and failures in a spreadsheet for tracking. I have done this for the last three years whole heartdly and can tell you my best times at projecting, what days, how many hours of sleep, validations, etc...

You are more than welcome to visit my web site InvisibleLight at www.invisiblelight.us

Good job on the successful projection - keep up the good work!

Thank You,

Tvos

Lume,

I know the feeling because I back in the day when I first started projected for 4-5yrs straight and then hung up the OBE shoes for a long time. There was nothing left of me, I had to focus on physical, and the energy for it was not there. I still projected but at lesiure and didn't put the commitment on me like I did.

It wasnn't til 3yrs ago I found my energy again, but approached projecting into a total different light. Now, I am able to project weekly w/o fail!

You just have to find that one important thing "God" and helping people in both planes....

Definitely...

I liked reading the book first because there was more texture to it, emphasis on events that the movie left out. Also, the movie moved quickly and it was hard to develope emotion or key points with the characters. Still, never the less they did a good job with the movie..

I read the book up until the 5th person you met then watched the movie. It was a surprize - kinda of cool...

Friends,

Just finished reading the book "Five people you meet in Heaven" and watched the movie
prior. Even though it is a fictional book, but it is a good one and pulls at the heart strings!

A deffinite gem of the ocean!

Lume,

Honestly, never tried it - let me know if it does work. But in all honesty, everyone is different when it comes to projecting. I have done a three year study on my food in-take, I document *everyday* w/o fail what I eat, drink, consume.. So far the star bucks frapacino's yield no results when it comes to projecting..Smiley

Anyways, back in the day I tried all sorts of gimmicks and found out that it was a mental crutch. It does not matter what position you sleep, what you eat, smoke, drink - if you have the desire, passion, conviction you will project.

Zorgblar,

Text book reading, on-line forums can only offer so much. Think of it as a college course, you goto school, learn, but there is no hands on experience. Once you do have a wide awake OBE and experience multiple times you will know.

Asking questions is good and shows interest and intent. But to really chase the truth, experience it head on and you will know!

Friends,

Just finished reading Adrian's book "Our Ultimate Reality".

It is definitely a must-read book for beginner to professional.
The book reminds me of writing styles of Deepak Chopra and James Redfield.

Well written, documented, and not just another 'rushed' product for
attention. It dives deep into OBE/NDE/DBV, health, love, money, the ego,
spirituality, religion and how we should treat each other.

Well done Adrian!
