76  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: How to realise your in a dream? on: May 19, 2012, 01:23:13

Carlos Castaneda discussed this in his books and was wondering did you read his material on
this technique?

Back in the day, I tried this when starting out and had a difficult time. For a good couple of months, I couldn't for the life of me perform this technique/method. Accidental, I projected from the MWBS (mind wake body sleep) state and realized their were other ways to project. Even though, I still kept up on looking at my hands during physical and reciting in dreams, eventually I was able to become lucid in the OBE. So now, I could project during trance and recognize in the dreams.

Keep practicing and it will come. But also, look into accessing the OBE during trance.

All the best,

77  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Lack of Motivation on: May 18, 2012, 03:29:01
Hi Doomkain,

Try projecting 25 years and still having that energy as when you first started.. wink Trust me on this one,
there are times I don't want to project and it happens. Sometimes I just don't have the energy to muster
but that desire, fire and sharing is my goal and mission to help those around me.

As lionheart posted "Ask Yourself why do you want to project"? Please write a list of pro's and con's
on a white piece of paper. See if the pro's outweigh the con's for your achievement in learning.

Take your time at this and really reflect on that question. This is just not for you, but others that are
wondering the same. If you don't have the drive or motivation, I would not try to force it or pursue til you
really ready to run that marathon. It is a lifetime of work!

There is nothing wrong to chickening out or being afraid. I still have many experiences that I abort or have a bad vibe and return. Advance or just starting out - these are real concerns. so take your time and digest what I explained. You'll not physically die from projecting.

All the best and good luck,

78  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Close, but no cigar. Help? on: May 14, 2012, 18:46:01

You need to have patience, give it time, document statistically and enjoy the process. I recently did a Astral Academy conference session and the question always arises "How long will this take?". It can be a few months, six months, year, two years. But you keep trying, being patient, keep studying, research, and statistically document. Think about it this way:

Your training for a marathon - the first day, or second month do you honestly think you'll be able to run that distance? It takes conditioning, mental and physical. Showing up everyday working out! How do I know? is because I am training for my second marathon in October and I have been able to project consistently over the 25 years active. It never stops and ever ending!

So relax, enjoy, and develop that muscle and persistence to try methods, and most importantly - document your results!
Realize there will be failed attempts, but this is through trial and error til you do get it right.

Your own the right path and before you know it, you'll experience OBE consciousness.

79  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: OBE with physical eyes open on: April 18, 2012, 19:54:00

I am going to jump in on this conversation about "Open Eyes" during the OBE.

I have done work with video camera's and projecting. Capturing "what goes on" during my experiences.
The majority of the times, my eye lids are closed, and there are times for  a brief flicker my eyes
open but immediately close.

Even at those times when my eyes have opened briefly, I don't remember (during the experience) my eyes
ever opening. From the physical + spiritual  body each one feeds off another so both are tied together and will trigger different responses during separation.

You are more than welcome to visit my web site and download the video content. I also highly suggest other(s) here execute the same experiments. Please note that some of the experiences that I was able to capture on
video tape took weeks, months, or almost a year to obtain. So be patient and have fun with it!

Good Luck,

80  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Interview with Robert Bruce on: April 11, 2012, 03:47:28
I would ask;

What three things are most effective at helping the APer get from a success rate of 2 projections a month to 2 projections a week?

Think of projecting like your training for a marathon. We focus on health, professional quality running shoes, training 3-4 times a week, persistence, passion, and desire along with "documenting, documenting, and more documenting!". Also, realize that to project it is never ending training and continuous.

It all takes time to build that endurance, speed, muscles to have a full out-of-body experience. In addition, don't expect it to happen by just reading a few books, joining a few boards. You have to dig deep and go after it to earn it. Expect to fail, trial through errors and seeing success too.

I have so many people ask me what does it take - I ask them these questions whole heartily and most show up for the marathon training at 25%.

Please take the time and read my post sticky: Why can't I project?

Hope this helps and all the best...

81  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Silver cord? on: April 11, 2012, 03:37:39

Biblical myth or not. It does exist, the chord that is.

Some have seen the chord and some haven't. I have on occasion seen the chord and will describe it from my own experiences. Most of what I can tell you is that the higher your level of consciousness, in-tune to everything around you and able to maintain your focus in one moment for periods of time. It does show, the chord that is.

When I have tested seeing the chord, it reminded me of a metal cable steel wire as in the following

The texture of the metal wrapped spiny feel was extremely tight when I touched in my hands. In addition, it was vibrant and dense, almost invisible but present. I have also seen the chord when I have projected witnessing from my parents bedroom while we all were sleeping, but I out-of-body. The chord definitely came out from their back head region of the body.

As for the chord being severed - honestly, we will know when the time happens one way or another. But for those in the physical will still keep on guessing.

Either way you look at it, severed or not - does anyone want to find out anytime soon...wink

Good Discussion Here..

82  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: what do you think about this tech? on: April 10, 2012, 22:36:46
this is called "interrupted sleep" technique. very widely well known and effective. it does take a little patience, persistence, but it is doable.

my suggestion is to: do this in intervals and at random times. this way it will mix up your body, mind, and spirit will come out by accident. you'll see many false awakenings and these are true projections.

enjoy and have fun with it!

83  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Proof for astral projection on: April 10, 2012, 18:35:55

You hit it right on the head!

Accidental validations vs. forced verification's. It is nice to have a controlled validation and I have had them, but
not like the accidentals.

I would strongly suggest that you put together when you project, document the date, time, experience, and break it down to controlled, accidental, precognitive obe, etc.. This data once collected over a period of time will give you the *proof* you need. Plus, it is documented by you and be honest when you are going about this.

The very first thing you will want to do is grab the notepad, audio recorder and dictate the date, time, nature of the OBE. Once that is completed, save it, archive it for later reference if needed. You don't want to contaminate the validation with altering the experience or twisting it to validate physical to astral to match.

I give you an example:

In one OBE, it was a false awakening. My wife came into the room, looked down at me, got into bed and we held each other. Minutes later as I broke out of the false awakening, the same event occurred note for note. I didn't say anything - it all happened just as it did in the false awakening. This was just not one time, we are talking multiple times with different variations.

I immediately documented everything so later I could review this data and not edit, enhance, or add to it later.

Another example: I was in OBE, saw a playing card and returned back to the body. Immediately, documented the whole experience. A day later I was jogging, I came up to a playing card at my place of work in this neighborhood on the sidewalk face down. Of all places yah know and WHY? So take a guess what the card face up was?..

Here is the documented OBE journal back in 2005.

Date: 7/14/2005
Time: 3:45AM 3:53AM
Subject:  Card Verification Experiment #1 Conscious Projection

Author:  David A. Warner
Copyright 2007

OBE Journal (Validation)

This was the first time that I had setup the experiment with the cards. My wife placed one card on the bedroom door and another card on the door that leads to the mudroom and to the outside the house. Both cards were faced down taped at the top. I figured this would be a great experiment and not to hard to miss since I would be projecting into that path.

The cards were placed on the door about 3-4 weeks ago and it took me that long to finally wield the results.

Anyways, roughly around 3:30AM 7/14/2005 I awakened into the trance state after have gone to bed about a 1/2hr prior. I did feel the vibrations and realize that I was rather in a good stance to project. As always, I just rolled out off the bed and onto the floor. I knew exactly what I wanted to accomplish and that was to view the card on the door. I floated around the bed frame and pushed my way towards the door. I was able to pull the card off the door and view the number and suit. The card that I read was the King of Diamonds. After that, I lost control and was pulled back the way I traveled around the bed-frame.

The weird thing is that when I was on the bed, my astral body was upright and my legs were on the bed. Basically, sitting upright on the bed and during that time I was spinning around in circles. I felt the physical body trying to re-align my astral inside of my physical but just couldn't. I had to actually had to lay down and focus and could feel the alignment kick in.
I kinda of wonder if this would be a good technique to prevent from coming back into the physical if you want to stay out longer?

Now, the next part is interesting because I thought I had awakened in the physical. I could see my wife Katie and she said to me "Wow, that was fast for you to verify the card". So we both went over to the door, pulled the card off and this time it was 8 of hearts.

Finally, I physically awakened and realized what had just occurred. So I grabbed my notepad, and removed the physical card off the door and went into the kitchen were there was light. I would be able to write the notes and see the actual card. To my surprise the physical card in the bedroom was 2 of hearts. Even though it wasn't the 8 at least I got the suit correct.

I decided not to remove the card on the front door leading to the mud room because I would again try to project later.

Date: 7/14/2005
Time: 10:30AM 10:37AM
Subject:  Card Verification Experiment #2  God is the Famous One

Well, at 10:46AM I was able to project and this time no vibes were present. I did hear music from this astral projection subliminal tape I listen to physically and imagined myself rolling inside my physical like a log quickly turning.

Getting out of the body was a breeze and I moved quickly to the front door with the objective of reveling the second card. At the time, I was able to see the card and make out the number, contents BUT the problem that occurred which wasn't really a problem. I was able to stay out of body for 10-15mins exploring everything around me. I knew at the time if I was to abort the projection and come back that the experience would be cut short. So I decided to put the card in my pocket for when I would lose consciousness I could quickly look at the card upon returning and have a better memory.

Well, never a less I didn't realize this experience would be very beautiful, moving, and so inspirational that I forgot about the card details. During the experience I ran into two teenagers that I had asked if there were deceased and they both laughed at me. After that, I saw 3 black people, 2 men and 1 woman. I had asked them specifically if they were deceased and the black woman said "yes and that God is her savior and glory to be" I told her that I was sorry to hear that and agreed with her about her statement.

The other elements of the projection is that I was in a backyard which to be believed by me I was located at my mom and dads in the astral. When I was on the back deck, there were many flowers growing. Red, Pink and White in one flower petal. so I decided to pull the flower off and smell it. I could sense the texture, winkle touch and smell the scent of the flower. After that I turned to the sky and said "God, I love you and Thank You for this gift". Also, I asked help from a higher source like a angel or something from God. When I looked at the sky I could see a shimmer of a ray of light beam thru this pine tree and out from no where was this bird. The bird was a size of a watermelon, almost like a blown up puffer fish. I asked this bird at the time if you/it/he/her was my helper and it nodded back to me gracefully shaking his head up and down.

There's more to this experience and probably would take another 2-3 pages to detail, but I picked out the beautiful highlights of the experience. Imagine if I had aborted the projection upon verifying the card what I would have lost...!

When I finally returned back to my physical body, I went to the kitchen room and removed the card off of the mud room door. The physical playing card was the Jack of Diamonds.

What is truly interesting about this experiment is that the first projection and the false awakening the both times that cards matched the suit.

Astral Bedroom - card I read was King of Diamonds
Physical Front Room Door - card is Jack of Diamonds

Physical Bedroom - card was 2 of hearts
False Awaking Astral Bedroom - card I read with my wife was 8 of Hearts

What I think happened is that in the first projection and false awakening I had already read both cards. So if I was reading the card in the bedroom, I would have been actually reading it in the front room kitchen door and vice verse. I know that the card in the astral that I tried reading on the second attempt was not suit or the number on the physical cards. I am going by gut instinct and vague memory.

The odds of having the same suit in one astral projection and false awakening attempt is 416 to 1. I still have more experiments with the cards but for a first time shot - pretty dam good!!!

Date: 7/14/2005 [/b]
Later that day I was on my break jogging. I've been jogging at work for 15Min's a day for the last couple of months. Along my travels there was a playing card face down on the cement. I did not pick the card up because I wanted to finish my jog.

Date: 7/15/2005
Anyways, I came up to the card again on my daily jog this evening and still faced down.
Out of curiosity I picked the card up.. To my surprise it was the Jack of Diamonds.

So what I am trying to say is that these experiences do offer proof. Maybe not right away in this case, but it happens. So be diligent and active in documenting.. The more data you can obtain - the picture will paint itself to knowing it is real!

All the best,

84  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Proof for astral projection on: April 10, 2012, 04:32:22
I definitely have to get in on this thread here..wink

I am going to sum it all up with a clear concise reply.

If you are serious about proving if OBE is real or not, it is...

So now, that I have spoken the word take it for everything I write.....Wink  but you have to prove it to yourself first before others. You are the *one* that has to go out and get it! Not by just a few random experiences, but running the whole marathon and pursuing.

Let me tell you a real story... Five years ago, I was about 225lbs way over-weight. So I wanted to lose weight by running and diet. So if I told you five years ago, I am going to lose x amount of pounds, run half marathon, 25k, and a full marathon in one year.. You would probably laugh.. But that is what happened and within 2-3 years I achieved that goal of a full marathon. Along the way, I learned how to run, breath, desire, and reach the goal of 26.2

It is the same way with projecting and with anything you do in life if you find a *way* to make it obtainable. Even thou it took me close to 20 years to obtain proof, it all came to me without trying to prove it. Weird as it might sound, that actually happened. When I stopped focusing on being hell bent on proving the reality of OBE, failing year after year. I gave up and when I surrendered to that - then the course changed.

Proving it to someone else is futile  - if they want to the proof, let them do the work, research, and training. It is all about energy and you are #1 to prove it to yourself. Just imagine if you did prove it to someone, then you would have to prove it to the next one, so on. And even *if so* you had hard core evidence, there still would be people that would say its a trick, hoax, and the list of excuses goes on and on.

Now, I am not saying never to do validations, or targets with images, cards, other people. Go for it!!  But be careful and realize that no matter what you say, or even if you did validate your own claims. People will want the proof.... and then still say its make believe hoax.

Hope this helps

I skimmed through this topic and would like to comment on who's better, what method, this or that.

In a nutshell, both are excellent and you really can't compare apples to oranges. Each uses different techniques, flavors and teaches differently. Dig down and learn from both of them because you can use both practices to incorporate into your own methods and experiences.

Remember its not about quantity, or who is better than the other. It's about bringing together this information and sharing it so we can help others.

That is my .2 and hope this helps.

Thank You,

Hi Delfi,

Trust me, you don't want to make yourself scared into having vibrations. It is scary enough the first time you have that rush of energy electrocuting you!

The best you can do is relax yourself, let go but at the same time try to remain conscious as you drift towards the physical body falling asleep. It is tricky? (Yes) but after awhile you will feel that moment of brief consciousness while the body is asleep - now that is your ticket to OBE. During that phase, you will definitely experience vibrations and more!

This is something that will change your world forever!

Good luck,

87  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: where are the vibrations? on: December 26, 2011, 05:42:08
thats the best way to go for results is tricking your senses and brain in random wake-ups. it's tough on the physical sleep pattern, but the beauty of making it to the astral is a gift!

88  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: where are the vibrations? on: December 26, 2011, 05:26:04
don't waste your time on stuff you don't doesn't work.. in other words, if your failure have been in the mind-awake body state, focus all your energy on the sucess you had with entering the OBE from the dream state.

last, I would be vigilant with documenting your results, times, dates, experiments so you can fine tune it. otherwise, you will be randomly target shooting.

89  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: where are the vibrations? on: December 26, 2011, 05:17:40
you will get the vibrations when your not expecting it... Imagine your physical body turning off, drifting into a deep hypnogic state, then awakening but to find your consciousness has shifted.

basically, it is like this:

1. relax, use technique method to release your physical body to sleep
2. specific amount of time goes by, your body, mind is aware of all events.
3. your mind awakes, but body is completely paralyzed and asleep.
4. once your deep into this awaken state, its not easy to open your eyes, awake, your deep in-between bodies. vibes occur here
5. focus on your exit technique.

90  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Re: Please Help me understand what's happening on: December 26, 2011, 05:12:48
The best advice that I can offer you is to remain cautious, observe and don't make quick decisions while in obe state. sometimes, when
we do make these choices out of fear we miss out and could have learned..

I know it's scary out there at times, just have to ask questions and feel the moment out.

92  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Very very dissapointed... on: September 09, 2011, 19:44:16

Less than a year huh? You are putting a lot of stress and worry on yourself along with obtaining un-realistic attempts that you think it will be a snap of the finger. There is no fast food service or a instant magic happy pill to projecting. I am not being rude here but honestly I see this so much that I need to offer my advice and wisdom of "why I can't project". Please take your time and review this post I created here and a transcript from my upcoming book.

You really need to paint a picture with statistics, trials, errors and write everything faithfully. Also, realize just because you punched the clock 8 hrs you will be rewarded. Projecting is training, just like a marathon runner, or someone studying to become proficient at playing guitar. It takes time not just six months!

When I first projected, my OBEs were at random, different times and I was tired as you were. But I did something about it and started tracking. Once I started the tracking dilgently and stopped expecting I was able to see a clearer picture of where, when, how, what, emerge as patterns. I then could focus on the bigger picture vs. random attempts. Some of my experiences once I am on the other side, depending on what I was trying to achieve would take months to years. This is not giving up but being persistent and realize that it all takes time and patience. If you don't have those core values, you might as well hang up your OBE wings. Stick with one technique that you know that worked in the past and focus all your energy on that.

Good Luck and be easy on yourself!

93  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Telling loved one/spouse/partner etc. about APing? on: August 17, 2011, 03:27:14
Oh the great debate on if OBE is the path to the devil. I also admire people who jump the gun and judge the book by it's cover vs. understanding and learning it's principals and why one would achieve such consciousness.

I have done years of research, read the bible, discussed this with my local pastor and many follower's of different believe systems. My wife was concerned, upset and thought the same as others. Over the years, my interest in helping others through hospice volunteering, running marathons for charities, playing music therapy for patients all comes from OBE. It is all based on intent and how you use the vehicle of OBE in helping others.

The bible states no where that soul travel, astral projection is the devils path and will lead those to burn in hell. Also, so many experiences and stories of lucid dreaming, communication with god, and miracles that are illustrated in visions, dreams in the bible. It is all one of the same! Then you get the people that say "no, it is not" - So you are telling me today, if I talk to God in a dream, OBE, trance state it is the devils work... but it is okay 2,000 years ago people of the time would receive these messages in the same state of awareness...

Best thing you can offer people is understanding, explain briefly and how it has made you better person. Demonstrate experiences from the bible and obe are the same and it does not take you down a dark path. Also, don't judge until you read the book from start to finish.

My .2

I actually filmed and recorded my physical body many times during the OBE. Key indicators that caught on tape were when the vibrations occurred, I would see my eyes flinch a little. I would also document the time I went to sleep and on immediate awake.

Anyways, in my first experiment that I performed back in early 1990's. The OBE was brief, about one to three minutes long on the spiritual side, but physical it was 10-15 minutes. I have also done work with my pets during my obe, also validating precognitive experiences. I have had experiences that lasted 30 minutes on the otherside, thought I would never return but did. When I awakened, I couldn't remember nothing but knew that I projected. Went to the bathroom and awhile 10-15mins past, there was a trigger and the OBE experienced dumped. Grabbed the tape recorder and narrated. When I pen'd the experience down to paper - it was 11 pages front / back...

Physical time is slower than astral time. What one minute in the physical is seven minutes in heaven...: )

96  Astral Projection & Out of Body Experiences / Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Re: Proving obe on: July 31, 2011, 00:53:22

I want to point out to you that OBEs are not pure imagination created by the brain. I have done many years of tests with trial and error to prove this phenomenon. In the beginning I was hell bent on proving to the world and to myself it was real. If I could just have one OBE to prove and then tell the world it's validity - everyone would start believing. After awhile of many failed attempts, I gave up and started focusing on just projecting, documenting the experiences and taking them for what they were worth.

Didn't see it coming but over the course of years, OBE brought me closer to spirituality, humanitarian work, volunteer with hospice and children in Africa mentoring. Also, brought me closer to God and my religion. Enough said, once I started to give up on the validating guess what started to happen? My false awakenings and full conscious wide awake OBEs started showing the signs of proof. If it was catching glimpse of the future, family member carrying out specific action, playing card experiments, and others. I couldn't ignore or deny because of the amount of tracking that I cautiously documented in my spreadsheets.

So my advice to you and other people trying to prove OBE if its real or not. First, you have to consider that these experiences do happen, otherwise we would not be here talking about them. Secondly, prove it to yourself but don't be in a hurry. Let the validations come to you vs. chasing scientifically and proving. Trust me, it will happen. Third, and most important you have to do the work, no one will do it for you. By having other people do the experiment and report their findings, this is just a sure way to fail. Prove it to yourself not for $$, commercial, or to save the world. It would not matter if you could project, validate everytime while in OBE. Be in a scientific study, reality show, Oprah  - people will still believe it is crap, hocus pocus and call you a new age band wagon out for $$$$ get rich scheme.

To demonstrate an experience that I had awhile back, please view this posting:

you are excited and that is excellent to see.. but remember this, it's not a race, competition and it is also
never ending of trial vs. error. so many awesome authors out there to read and where and what they have been through. don't get too wrapped up with technique after another. the best you can do is focus on a couple of techniques and only just that. otherwise, you will be too scattered when the time does come, which one to remember.

start writing down in the computer, spreadsheet, dates, time, what you ate, how much sleep, the type of experience. was there vibrations, and be detailed and journal the experience. once you start tracking,  you can see the clearer picture of where you are on the map and how to / when are your times for favorable projections.

it's all conditioning and training..

I was in the geographical location of the airplane.. Was able to go outside the plane trailing behind a few yards then snapped back in...

There have been other times while riding in the car, I would drift and find myself leaning up against the glass then falling through it into the road then being slammed back in the body of freight. Thinking that I was physically falling outside the moving car but come to find those false awakenings tricked me again!!
