I did read her .pdf and found it quite interesting. I'm in the 'data gathering phase' when it comes to all of the 2012 stuff.

I did find a site that converts your birthday to the mayan calander equivalent for free:

According to this I am kin 173; a "Red Self-Existing Skywalker".  Part of my 'description' on this sight is "Galactic Activation Portal" ... I'm somewhat expecting to hear "Scotty, beam me up!"   

I just don't know how to understand this stuff! 

This site gives 7 different glyphs for one birthdate. I'm assuming this is similar to astrology, where you have to look at all of the planets to get an overall picture of an individual. And I don't know anything about astrology, so maybe that's why I read this and go "huh?"

But is there any place that describes what these glyphs mean or tells you how to interpret what this is supposed to say about you?

This looks like what I was asking for...although I've only just looked at the first few pages. It appears to walk you through how to read/interpret this stuff.

Don't worry if you don't understand anything...on the beginning I didn't understand anything myself either  At the beginning I got so frustrated that I tossed all the books to a far dark corner and forgot about them for four years..Now I came back to the calendar, because it's helping me understand myself and the outside world on day to day basis..Yes, it is quite complicated, because the knowledge is "dimensional"...not "flat"..hmm...that's the only way I can explain it...There is so many aspects that need to be considered taht on the beginning I felt that my head will pop  With time I see it as a beautiful journey to all that I am. The only website that I know, that gives a very good and full description of your kin is unfortuneately in german...hmmm: http://www.maya.at/Kin-Info/Kin-Info-Index.htm (write your birth date info on the left side)...So as much as I'd like to help you I can't really do much, maybe just invite you to follow the day to day kin of the day. I had posted this in the thread called "free ebook" but I think this is probably a better place for given the title of the thread. This may help others out when determining their Kin and what that meams:

What I did was use this site to figure out what my birthdate translates to in Mayan terms

Using what this site calls its "extended" version walks you through the symbols, tones, families, etc that comprise the Mayan Calendar. It doesn't really explain what these mean though. So I took notes on what the symbols were associated to my birthdate and then went to the following link:

From here you can click on your birth sign and it will show you the symbols plus explain what each of them represent/mean. It also takes you to links explaining tones, families, and other stuff.

hey everyone..
when I'll have a little bit of time i'll try to write more detailed info about each of the signs. The issue here is that no one simply "is" a sign. The sign represents a ceratain energy that you work with throughout your entire life. The energy has it's "shadow" wisdom and it's "light" wisdom...so you can clearly see with what issues you will be dealing throughout your lifetime.
As of now, here is another beautiful "poem" for today. Simply observe today's energy and try to feel what the day is trying to teach you. The more unharmonious you are the rougher the transformation will be.
