I just read about the creation process of astral pulse island and a thought came to me:

if astral realms are created by a lot of people thinking often about it then there shouls be astral realms that just look like described in famous books, lets say midle earth by tolkien.

it should be possible to project into it and it should be quite stable because millions of people think about it. someone should try that. when im able to project consciously on a regular basis i will do it grin

ive thought about this as well. except i dont think we "create" anything more than we "channel" it. like there is a physical universe out there with different physical laws that is exactly like the harry potter movies, and the authors are channeling this information.

its all tied into the concept of infinite Wink

I agree with Ben K, but at the same time I think it can go both ways. Authors are channeling while simultaneously creating the universe, playing the role of both god and observer.

I agree with Jalef's original post... Tolkien's middle earth should exist within the astral (not that I've ever visited it) in a relatively stable fashion.

However, each reader of that epic will have imagined middle earth and its characters in a slightly different way - would this affect the permanency of the "astral" middle earth ?

And how would we perceive it, if it really existed as an aggregate of the perceptions of millions of different individuals ?

Lol, if this is true then I have some pretty strange places out there on the Astral plane.

Actually, I heard of someone once who was able to project into the Final Fantasy game world.  I dunno if it's true or not but i think it is possible.
