....Well, i just wanted to make a little point on the "time is an illusion" thing. Its no joke - ask Einstein (ok fair enough - he's not around anymore to ask). Everyone takes that quote as being metaphysical nonsense, when actually its true. Time is just a measure that is relative to your speed. Simple as that.

As for the "fighting a monster" quote - err....sorry I haven't got any words of wisdom there. !

anyway, enough of my drivel. I'm off.

Goingslow, you might want to read Kakkarot's thread "My Visions" in the Prophecy and Divination section. Just a thought. If it gave my life new meaning, maybe it can at least give you a new perspective.

This isn't anything bad about Kakkarot..but i dont put too much faith in other people's visions.  For one I've had dreams and visions which would suggest a huge armageddon.  But how do you really interpret your dreams to mean whats going to happen for not just yourself but the whole "world"?

I also think when given messages we get them in a way we understand.  I think people who are into the whole "battle" thing get more battle type message.  Or even dream of battles more created from their own thoughts.

In other words many things are symbolic.  A big battle scene you see might be a battle in your life you need to overcome.  Lets say the imagry came to him as a personal battle.. he might interpret it as he's going to be in a fight.  Therefore a real battle scene would be a better way to relay "battle" than a personal struggle would be.

I dont put much thought into what my own dreams mean.  Now what I see in minds eye visions I think means something I need to do or somethings going to happen to me.  So someone elses interpretation of a daydream isn't really going to get me preparing for this battle for the human soul.

Just my honest take on that type of thing.

Hi FT, sorry about your condition, however, there's a lot of treatments out there, I have a brother who managed to overcome his obesity with a mix of medication and counseling.
 
About your inquiry into children and psychic ability, I agree with you wholeheartedly. When I noticed my eighteen month old daughter Angela acting up, I didn't want her to go through what I went through. So I did what is most effective in order to stamp it out: ignoring her when she turn quizzically toward me.  However, there were some witnesses but I managed to win them to my cause, after arguing with them that she would end up a circus freak if I let her. The psychic behavior in question was that things would move around her, without physical contact, mostly toys though.

Hi. I'd just like to say a few things about something amazing that happened when I was walking home from my girlfriend's place (although I assure you her place was better []).

I had just turned the corner to the street where my house was, and I saw a father with his (what looked like) 16 month old daughter. She looked at me with that innocent look that kids give you, but she looked curious and intrigued. For the whole walk home I had felt a great energy rushing through me and I felt great. I felt this energy flowing through me as well as in me. And this child seemed to not be looking at ME...but something around me!

I then proceeded to do something I've been practicing for a while. I've created energy constructs before, and although they are pretty useless this was fun. I decided to give myself some energy wings. Because of my great abundance of energy this took very little time before I actually started to feel the wings attached to me! I used some awareness actions to create them (the sense of touch is better for energy work).

And then the kid looked back at me. She had turned away for a while and now she was in awe. I could tell she was amazed at something. I held the weak constructs together with what will power I have. As I continued down the road the girl turned to face me. Then as I was almost at my house I tried to move the energy-constructed "wings" and I succeeded in flicking them. The child then laughed and muttered something that sounded like "baboo!" and then turned to her father and then pointed at me!!

I know this sounds wierd, but in Robert Bruces' Practical Psychic Self Defense, he specifically states that children are way more psychically sensitive than adults. They can see and hear things that we eventually forget how to do because society denies the existance of such things.

This is one of the coolest experiences I've had in quite a while! Pretty neet [|)]
