Drama Over At Astral Society.com

For those not in the know, there's been a MAJOR incident over at Astral Society. Almost all the regular members have left, and Drako and Sentinel - past staff members - have started their own Astral Society (over at www.astralsociety.us), as well as purchasing the name trademark. Hardcore.

Apparently there was a staff falling out, which resulted in an outcry for the new ownership. When that didn't happen, people started leaving. On account of the site owner possessing all the intellect of a garden gnome, and the maturity of Icelandic cheese.

And no, I'm not one of the rebels. Or am I...

AP forums had some "dramas" too...the disapearing of Frank, Robert Bruce conflit, the conflit between this forum and other one, and the arrival of a very controversial and demonic member: me! lol kidding.

Now, if that people is leaving that forum, tell them about APForum

EDIT: Oh by the way no matter where you are drama will be there.
We are emotional beings after all with egos....put two and two together and you get Drama.

This is Rahie, owner of Astral Society.
We did have some drama but the drama has left. Astral Society is back to normal and we have a lot of new members posting.
Looks like the first poster to this thread was one of the people that left. They got pretty nasty and even attempted to hack the site a couple times. Besides the hack they all came and spammed the forums for hours.
Basically a core group of people decided they wanted to run things, and if they couldn't they were gonna cause havoc, which they did.
I really don't have any hard feelings and wish the best for everyone. I admit I lost my cool, and I don't wanna be right.
Just wanted to let my friends at AP know what happened from my prospective.

I am not aware of anyone trying to hack the site. 

As much as I dislike highly opinionated posts, that is no reason to ban several key members of the site which had spent several years, in one case half a decade, of their lives working on. This in addition to people's concerns being deleted and hidden by managment and the controversial ownership and systemization of the site had sparked the rebellion. Rightfuly so in my opinion.

Astral societies authors and members where treated with abhorrent behavior by the owner. Hopefuly, the new site will rebuild the community as it once was. A community run as a community.
