So its like the computer game The Sims, where the sim is surrounded by data ie everything he can see around him but he thinks he is separate from this data but in his case its the GPU/CPU that executes the program that he is part of but he simply does not realise he is part of the program, is the program. Is that somewhat right?
So we are currently interacting with this data? is it everything we see around us? For the most part, yes. The "video game" analogy works perfectly. Tom Campbell uses it often. If you look at a video game, when you play it, on the screen things look very real... but when you REALLY look at the game, you look at what's going on behind the "virtual reality" it creates, all it is is code and data. Our reality and everything you experience while non-physical is the same. What you experience while you're physically awake is a "rendered scene" based upon the data (which is the ONLY objective part of the reality). Fun eh?

i already seen some of Tom Campbell's videos on youtube, he seems to know what he is talking about, strange how he has such a great understanding of the subject, do you think one of our goals is to gain a greater understanding of it?

While knowing the name of the game you're playing here CAN and DOES help you to grow... at the same time, it's not required in regards to "why" you're here. Our goal here (again, via MY perspective) is to grow spiritually, becoming a more Loving consciousness. You do this through your interactions with other consciousnesses here (or elsewhere really). You can drive a car just fine without ever knowing what's going on under the hood. Just treat everyone with as much Love and respect you can, allow everyone/everything to be as they are... and you'll be on the fast track.

Definitely heard the video game example before, but I think the matrix fits well too, simply because any form of kinesis ability can be akin to "hacking" the "physics engine" of our world, just like how Neo is able to fly by just manipulating code in the matrix.

On the earth there is a much different idea . It was found by Robert Monroe . It is loosh . While out of body he was given a peice of info . It was why life on earth was set up . Loosh is given off in the life death strugle by all living beings . We are like milk cows . I dont believe me, or any one else on this forum has a discussion on loosh . If interested I can start a seperate thread . I started one on the now closed Pavlina forum and I have one on s.f. but its in a members only sec.
Hey can you talk about loosh desert-rat? I want to know more about it.

I don't have time now that I am in college full time. Can someone give a summary about it? If I remember correctly, it's ONE CHAPTER of around 10 pages... if you can't read that yourself, then you don't deserve to know. And when you get around to reading it, remember that, it's a concept long gone from his third book... why? Because in his third (and final) book, he realized the belief/expectation relationship of projections.

OK I found a definition for Loosh, but why did he change it in his last book? He didn't "change" it at all. He omitted it completely. It's a belief-based concept which he interpreted as being objective during those days.
