4-2 to England against France? You're having a laugh, aren't you? Yes, I'm English, but I'm also realistic. We'll get trounced by the French.
Luis Figo is my all time favourite player. Nothing to do with his playing skills - I just think he's gorgeous!
My bro-in-law plays trumpet in the England band so he'll be out there. Give him a wave if you see him. His name's Laurence.

What about the winners? Who do you think that will be? Hi bet in Italy. I think that they are very strong. France (of course), Spain and Portugal (but i say Portugal because we are playing in home).
I think that portuguese players are not having to many training exercises. Besides that, they are getting old. I dont know, but i would choose younger players than guys like Rui Costa that are not in good shape. Young players are more agressive because they want to be stars and show what they worth. Older players have thousands of money and fame; their fight is over because they dont have any otivation to play. For example, i thonk that Figo is good only in Real Madrid because there he is winning money, while in the portuguese selection it will win little money(little for him! i wish to have that money!).

Your dream was wrong! 2-1 and a great game from both teams! We have 2 serious candidates to the title. About Portugal, well, hmmm, coff, coff...Jesus, what a childish game (from Portugal, Greece was good)! We loose 2-1 because Portugal plays like kids, they dont know to touch the ball! We have so many good players for what? They earn so much money for this? Incredible. Of course that we could say "Well, it was an unlucky game", but no. Everybody knows that Portugal almost didnt make any good training! They were in hollidays for certain, because we only saw him (the players) in swimming pools, in restaurants, etc, etc. Where are the training games? What a shame... I bet that we will not pass to the next phase, because Russia and Spain are even more difficult teams! Well, here are the results until now: Portugal-Greece 2-1 [ !](stupid players!) Spain-Russia 1-0 Croatia-Switerzeland 0-0 France-England 2-1 (great game!!!! 5 stars! you should see it, 2 great titans playing hard!) I am really curious about Holland, Italy, Germany and Rep.Chescoslovaquia (dont know the translation[ ]), since they have strong teams too.

Good to see England are back on track after beating the Swiss. Boring game, but it's the result that counts Biggest surprise for me so far is Greece making it to the next round. Deservedly so as well.

Did you see the last game with Portugal? Well, my country is really strange playing soccer...sometimes they seems like little cats, doing nothing, but there are times in wich they are tigers: 2-0 against Russia, does not show the great game that we made. You should see the power play in the first minutes! Amazing! I am happy to see that kind of games. Netherlands and Germany (1-1) was a good game too. Pimpx: you must be in our side, afterall, the second favorite team of portuguese people (in it´s majority) it´s Brazil[ ]! Romario, Bebetto (they dont play anymore) and others are some of my favorite players ever.

lol Im on your side, especially because Portugal have a brazilian coach. I didnt expect Portugal was going to lose the game against Greece, but they are going well now. Scolari said he wants to put Portugal at least fourth. I believe Figo is going help for this to happen ps: i like european soccer [ ]

Being a huge football fan (and working as an "expert" [:I]) I´ll give you my view on this EC-04. Sweden is best and will win the whole thing without breaking a sweat! ...ok, that´s the dreamer in me talking - although we started very well with the 5-0 (!!) demolition of the Bulgarian team... Henrik Larsson´s running header on the 2-0 goal gave me the shivers, what a player - and person... notoric goal scorer, perfect team player, and a terrific leader... 3 in 1 (4 in 1 when taking into account he is a great father as well) - Barcelona next for Larsson? The 5-0 win was followed with a lucky point last night against a Italy who made us look like a youth team the first half - but their defense oriented mentality when up a goal cost them badly and Zlatan, our most gifted player through history scored the most brilliant goal I´ve seen in football for a long time. As for us, Sweden, 1 point against the danes on Tuesday is enough to proceed to the qf´s - and from there, who knows... I don´t think we´ll make it all the way though - Italy showed last night that the absolute top nations when playing their best football, is still better than we are. On the other side, we showed we can avoid loosing to them even when they´re putting up their A game..... [8D] If Italy make it to the qf´s, they´ll be one of the two main contenders for the trophy in my eyes - along with France, though the latter hasn´t impressed so far - but what a team... it should be forbidden to have Thuram, Zidane and Henry in the same team - not fair to the other teams. Outsiders; Spain (better get Rául-Morientes on fire if they wanna challenge) "If everything works 100%" outsiders; Sweden, Holland, Germany and Check Republic. Sorry Portugal, you have good technical players but it won´t be enough... hope you´ll continuing hosting the Championship as good as you´ve started though. To rap things up, here´s Zlatan and the fab equaliser against the italians last night: GO SWEDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [ ]

Probably, I agree that Henrik Larsson is an amazing player. Larsson is a big star in Scotland as he plays for Scottish team Celtic. Although I believe his contract is up and he's moving on. Every Celtic goal was by Larsson! Celtic will have problems once he's gone!
As for Euro 2004, I think England will make it to semi-final. Beyond that, 'only the wise can tell'.
