Good question. I think it depends on the dream. There are dreams I have posted in Psychic Self-Defense because I considered them a warning, there are others I have posted in the Spiritual Advancement section because I thought they might have some sort of meaning I need to know in order to complete some task, and then I have these other random dreams which are cool but are still really random so I post them here.

I've had dreams about the apocolypse, meeting fear itself, and being on the astral plane. I also had a "prohpetic" dream about a girl who asked me to the prom. And then I have other weird dreams like that I became the T-1000 from Terminator 2.

So I guess you would have to post multiple subjects but in different areas of the forum.

ya, well yesterday i had a dream of snakes and worms, wouldn't know wich category it fits... a dream interpretation forum would be neat, it can be pretty dynamic cause i believe most people dream everyday. also it doesnt have to be only for dreams but symbology in general, archetypes, old languages and cultures and stuff. once i projected and read PREDOQUE on a sign, i had a hard time finding out what that mean. searching on the web i found just 1 website, it was about medieval literature, this is what was written:

Quas coluit Moises vetus aut nouus ipse Iohannes,
Hesternas leges vix colit ista dies.
Sic prius ecclesia bina virtute polita
Nunc magis inculta pallet vtraque via.
Pacificam Petri vaginam mucro resumens
   Horruit ad Cristi verba cruoris iter;
Nunc tamen assiduo gladium de sanguine tinctum
   Vibrat auaricia, lege tepente sacra.
Sic lupus est pastor, pater hostis mors miserator,
Predoque largitor, pax et in orbe timor. 3

3 The laws of yesterday that old Moses and new John -- that one -- cultivated, this day hardly keeps. Thus the church, formerly glittering with a double virtue and now instead disheveled, grows pale at either path. At the word of Christ the sword of Peter, regaining its peaceful sheath, abhorred the way of blood; now, however, with sacred law grown tepid, covetousness vigorously thrusts its blood-stained sword. Thus the wolf is the shepherd, the father the enemy, death the commiserator, the brigand the BENEFECTOR, and the peace on earth is fear.

This thing really impressed me, PREDOQUE... wow, a medieval text. At first i thought it was just a word made up by my imagination.

Good idea! smiley We have a lucid dreaming forum, but perhaps one devoted to dreaming and interpretation would be good.

You may want to try the "forum bugs and questions" forum. I've seen other suggestions posted there, as well.

Good luck,

You've convinced me. You have good reasons for this and I think Adrian would certainly consider it. There should definitely be a section for dream interpretation.

One problem with dream interpretation. According to what I think, when you dream what you dream is actually a reflection of what you're seeing in the dream realm. It's like the astral planes, possibly even a sub-plane, but whatever it is it's there. You may not agree on that because it just sounds crazy, but the rest of my theory is pretty just (I think).

The rest of my theory says that what you dream is all symbols. BUT those symbols differ from person to person. For example there was a post about prophetic dreams, and about 5 people (I think) had a very interlinked dream, but the symbols were all different. One dream had people being shot by some mysterious army, the Americans fighting someone else, and a massive shower of flaming rocks coming from behind. Another person saw armies clashing, psychics standing together, and then they all say a fleet of UFOs. All similar.

To interpret your dreams I suggest you get a dream journal. Every dream you can remember you should write down what happened and draw the symbols you saw. After a while and some guess work you should be able to understand your dreams a lot better.

I don't have anything against posting your dreams, some people have a natural gift of knowing what they mean, albeit the symbolic differences between people. I think you should try some self-examination as well as posting dreams you think might have importance.

Just correcting an information, I made a new research and found the word 'largitor' means benefactor, therefore Predoque must mean brigand, but if anyone knows the accurate meaning please do tell me. I'm thinking it could be the name of someone who lived in the Middle Ages (maybe it was me and I had a bad reputation??).

Damn I was so excited about this word, too bad I can't remember the whole name, it had 3 names on the street signpost and Predoque was the first one, I couldn't read the other 2.

It's a nice idea. I'm not too keen on people interpreting other's dreams. I feel that a dream is veyr much a creation of your mind. It is heavily influenced by your mind. In a waking state, different things have different infulences on different people. This leads me to believe different things in different dreams have different meanings for different people. Ugh, i'm saying different too much! [Cheesy]
For example, somebody can't tell you what a piece of music means to you, so why should they be able to tell you what a dream means to you?

Again, different people learn in different ways. Maybe something being conveyed to one person (by a guide?) means something totally different to another person.

Never-the-less, i haven't actually researched dream interpretations and their accuracies to significant extent yet so i may be wrong.

Just my opinion [|)]
