I see how we are a very minute part of the population that does indeed "consciously" experience this. The first times could be understood as purely by intent. But what about now when it has gotten so much deeper for some of us, the regular experiencers?

Could it be we have been "chosen" to open our eyes now so that we can become a part of that "structure" some day. That statement isn't ego talking. That is my personal observation.
We have all seen in this reality here how the pupil becomes the teacher somewhere down the line. If not for a greater purpose, then why are we seeing what we are, when so many others around us are just consciously living and experiencing in this physical realm here? There has to be a reason why we have chosen or have been chosen to "consciously" exist in these dual, no dual is not the right word, multi layers that we experience on a regular basis.

I don't know but somehow I would hope so. It is a reward for the 'loneliness' we experience here since we do not meet a lot of peoplf of 'our kind' in physical daily life.  undecided

I agree. We seem to live a life of loneliness and "alienation". Even in a crowd you can feel alone.

I work in large crowds, as per the Renaissance Faires that I am a Merchant of. I normally scan the crowd to see other "unique" or special people that may be around. But I also notice that they are attracted to me in those settings as well.
MJ has always been amazed how people just happen to come into our tent and start talking about Astral Travel and Lucid Dreaming. It's like we have a beacon on the top of our tent that is attracting "like minded" individuals. I love meeting those people. It is the high light of the show for me.  smiley

First off, excellent posts to all those that have chimed in. I didn't know where this thread was going to lead, but I like this direction it has now taken.  smiley

So, since we can now agree that there is some kind of structure "there". Can we also agree that we are being lead to that conclusion for some greater good?

I think finally we are talking about what's important. I don't know where this discussion will end I'm just happy it's flowing.

So I think we are agreed there is structure. I do think we are being led. I've not always understood the things I have been shown (and still don't) but I have always known I was being guided and not just for my own enjoyment/entertainment/good. There is a purpose here and although I/we are part of it all I don't think I or any one of us are leading the charge (so to speak). But we do each seem to have specific roles. Maybe we should discuss that next, once the others chime in on this 2nd question of yours.

ETA: I very much agree with Volgerle on the loneliness aspect.

I didn't really expect anyone to answer the second part of that question. I was hoping they would though.  undecided

At the time I was typing that reply, the phone rang and it was good friend of mine from this Forum here that I highly respect. I told him what I was currently typing and i said I wanted to avoid using the word "chosen", because a word such as that implies another word "ego" as well. But we both agreed that word had to be used to further the point that was being made.

Understood on word usage. Personally I have never felt chosen. I have felt both like I volunteered for this and at other times like I have no choice. lol. I reckon though the two feelings go hand in hand sometimes.

Agree too, I'm with the loneliness too. Even if I find my woman later in my life, I will still know that I'm alone on my own path and the vast majority too, but we can't say just anything to them. We are on a much interesting "journey" or learning path.

I experienced those rule sets - sort of - in my dreams too. The word dream is a very limited idea. So I tried to change things a few times in some and I just phased back to my bed lol.

I've wandered lonely with a crowd,
my shouts unheard, although so loud.
The point of self awareness great,
some worlds no touch, others, create.
A tangible hierarchy, it does exist,
Booted out, infraction, if you persist.
We are each and all, as one,
The systems learnings, it has begun.

Have you found the two different ways of thinking yet anyone?
The standard thought process is when a problem is presented, you recall from memory the answer or how to work it out. In this you are in the immediate forefront of the physical world, well grounded if you like.
The second thought process is where you disconnect from the physical and you are fully aware but inside your body which feels like having a warm blanket around you.
The depth of thoughts here is very powerful and you can solve far greater problems and receive insights or answers from just being here. It's very similar to being close to the exit point when phasing.

The second thought process, as you call it Szaxx, is also a great place to release pain or any stress that you may have too. The "warm blanket" is very comforting!  cool

So what is the greater good? I ponder that quite a bit.

Such a fascinating discussion.

"Could it be we have been "chosen" to open our eyes now so that we can become a part of that "structure" some day."

I think perhaps yes, we have either chosen to listen to our tendencies to explore beyond what has been given to us by culture and media. And this means being an outlier on the fringes of understanding reality. I think it takes a great deal of courage because this kind of divergent thinking is discouraged.

Also, I think that yes some are inherently directed to explore certain areas. Directed by guides or the higher self. For me personally, I have things that I know I need to do. If I pretend that I don't know and go along with what cultures says I should do and not go along the path that I am being directed on, like a chess piece being moved, it will result in a waste of a special opportunity here. I do not know what the consequences are but the thought of having to return...is horrible. HAHAH.

I also think that if you make a conscious choice and say, "Hey, I want to learn more and I need help." Then all kinds of help comes in, in the form of books, teachers, classes in the physical, experiences in dreams, non-physical experiences from  teachers who may be human or not.

I am of the opinion also that the physical and non-physical are the same. I think we  just tune into different areas of it.  Its like different focus points and its a gradual shift usually. For example, when you go to sleep you slowly transition to another reality. You eventually become completely unaware that you are in a bed and you are off in your dreams on another adventure. I think on macro and micro levels it is all highly organized and it just depends on what reference point you are viewing life from.

It seems that on the whole we are absorbed with physical reality and choose to only accept what is real as something that is viewed with our two eyes. Unfortunately, this is a belief that will keep up far too occupied with valuing material. I also think it hinders a lot of spiritual development.

Once the world of the spirit is opened and experienced in honest. It becomes obvious that something much greater is occurring. And...the further down the rabbit hole, one can even find the non-physical to be more real in the sense that the knowledge is so great and the teachings so complex that physical can appear to be simplistic or less real.

Some of the most comforting truths I have found, are that we are eternal. We are timeless. This is just a tiny experience here on Earth and a small drop in all the many many more we have before it and beyond it.

And perhaps one of the most convincing quantum experiments that shows consciousness manipulating physical reality is the double slit experiment.

I am quoting Szaxx here ... but I am kind of responding to the whole thread.

Szaxx - Yes. This is my experience. And, we perceive it physically kind of like a "two way street" - one lane leading to the physical and the other leading to the non-physical. Kenyon refers to what you are pointing to as the "fifth state".

Thread - This brings up another topic (related to this discussion) for me. I will point to this "two way street" with this rough metaphor - we are like "a bridge between the physical and non-physical". However, because there is often a perception of motion in our experiences, the "two lanes" metaphor may be a better pointer.

What works pretty well for me is to acknowledge this about myself ... I am a physical extension of my non-physical aspects so that consciousness can expand here into the physical. I am not here to redeem, learn (addressing past karma) or remember more than I can currently remember. I am here for the joy of expansion (of consciousness).

Additionally, my non-physical aspects (guidance) can benefit from my extension here into the physical. The non-physical can experience the physical (via their extension). This is a key element of the two way street that I refer to (e.g., I am not the only beneficiary). This is why I think that Szaxx's comment is so instructive to the discussion here.
