Haven't all of us made that decision before even finding these forums? The usual routines really are very limiting. There is no place in them for karma, reincarnation, astral projection, healing with energy, or even consciousness. Any concern beyond food, money, sex, shelter, current fashions in clothing or lack thereof, and going to war does not fit in.

So how, exactly, are you gonna 'change the world?'

Tom- can you project?

Can you take a chill pill? this isnt the united nations conference room, its a msg board, I havnt attacked anyone or come out with at people with a bad attitude, so why have you?
Can I also point out I never said others wernt beings of light, perhaps you should read more closely to a persons post even if it is strange.
As for sadam hussein, he may be a mad man but to take a life is not something I would be willing to do even if I had the chance, as for north Korea they've done nothing since the korean war to warrant a lesson.

I guess that's just my way of expressing skepticism toward a person who claims they can singley change the state of this "mess of a planet."

If I had the chance, I would kill Hussein because of all the death and misery and torture he has caused.  Him dethroned would be a big relief of the Earth's shoulders.

I thought your message did come across as somewhat egotistical - maybe it was just the way it was worded.  The thing is - in order to heal the planet all we need to realize is that it is already healed!  All is healed in God's kingdom (and there is nothing outside of God's kingdom).  So if each of us can come to remember ourselves as Beings of Light and as already healed - then there would be nothing to heal!  There is nothing external to God - you are God - therefore just heal yourself and all will be healed.

It's really very simple.

Take care.  Let us know when you've got it all figured out.  Lotsa Luv - Linda.

It's funny how Hephaestus got shutdown for choosing his next grandest vision of who he is and declaring it.

Haven't all of us made that decision before even finding these forums?

Observing these forums and all those around me, I'd say no. We all haven't made this decision. At least not conciously at a creative level.

So your a being of light, huh? That's funny, I thought we all were...

He's didn't say we weren't.

Not everyone has remembered. Not everyone has seen the illusion of us "all" being seperate. Perhaps that's what Hephaestus has in mind? To help the world remember?

Hephaestus, I wish you all the best.

Hephaestus- On a message board, it's hard to prove the truth of your words with actions. I think mankind in general is on the verge of evolution. I always felt we were at the end of one age and at the beginning of another. What's interesting about this is that it corresponds with what is happening in music right now. We just got finished with the 20th century era of music, and now we're sort of trying to figure out what else we can do with it. I think ever since John Cage came along, music will never be the same again. His compositions are really interesting and I think that's the direction we should be heading in. Let music evolve beyond any rules.

Note: When you change the way you see the world, you change the world. Good luck on your quest. Do not be distracted by taunts and insults. If you are, it is a sign that you must tend to your ego and put it back in its place. Rid yourself of your ego and you will succeed. I think you have been awakened. It is now up to you to figure out what to do with the enlightenment you have been given. If you can project, then try to increase your imagination (do this anyway), as it will take you to the highest of the planes.

One person trying to single handedly change the world into what they think it should be. well this can't go wrong....

-Nate

I could go on about how forcing the world to change would be just as bad as anything the "mess of a world" has done, but I think I don't need to. My advice is to keep putting out the good vibes. taaa!!

Save the world? Sorry but WHERE have I heard that before?

Honestly, you people running around pretending to have superpowers to change the world etc. are nothing but wannabies. You wanna be DBZ, you wanna be Jesus, you wanna be God, you wanna be everything. Get over yourselves and realise that things like that are not possible to achieve in our lifetimes.

Sure, Jesus achieved great things, but there were less people in his world than there are today, and he had more time to research into metaphysics. By the way I quite strongly believe that Jesus and Mohammad were strongly into metaphysics, quite possibly magic.

Oops, ramblin on again.

Ok enough with this "down to earth" crap already. We all started out there. If people want to go and make fools of themselves, let them. But  believing that something is impossible or can't be done is just as foolish because it only inhibits your ability to do something that might actually be possible, such as empty force qigong mind-boxing (which is real). PAY ATTENTION TO THIS SENTENCE IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON B****ING ME OUT: How do I know it is true? Let's just say I have come across enough evidence that has proven it to me beyond reasonable doubt. I'm not telling you to believe things because I do, but prove the nonexistence of something before you go and tell someone how much of a fool they are. They probably know more than you do about something.

So maybe Hephaestus is a little off-center. Personally, I don't believe one person can change the world, but hey, at least Hephaestus, as far as his post implies, has good intentions. Why not help him by enlightening him instead of saying things like "you're a fool if you think you can change the world." Why not post something similar to this:

"I am glad you have good intentions (at least it seems that way), but you can't change the world alone because you can't change people. Only they can change themselves. You need the help of others, and to acquire their help you must find people who have similar intentions. I wish you luck on your... um... quest thingy. Just remember this quote from Ou Wen Wei: 'Speak with reason, treat others with courtesy, move others with emotion, and act with result. Be friendly and honest, and be kind and benevolent.'"

This post gets the point across without contributing negative energy to the forum for others. By "yelling" at hephaestus, you are discouraging anyone who tries to post things that might be beneficial to him/her because then they will probably feel like you're going to rip them a new a** hole for saying something that you disagree with.

And if you decide to rip them a new one, just make sure you quote them on what they said, and read the meaning of their words carefully.

mj 12  do you ever have anything intelligent to contribute?

Jesus was a historical figure he existed.. many dont believe he was the real son of god.. thats the point of contention.

You go from post to post saying the dumbest things ive ever read.  "maybe you should be more down to earth" yeah you cant prove a historical person existed so live down to earth where me and my friends say "get ready friends the world is going to change i decided to use my powers and change it"

You do it to try to defend someone.. but ill say this for enderwiggen he defends people without offending people who are obviously going to see apost like this as being a bunch of show boating.

Live more down to Earth...hehe...I had a gut buster reading that...Mwahahahaha...

Hey, we are kind of stuck here for now so I suppose we really don't have any other choice...At least until they build cities in the sky...Wink Wink to the old Star Trek fans.

A question...

Have any of you ever busted up clouds before?  Not by flying a plane through them, but just through concentrated effort from your very own mind!  If you haven't, you should do it sometime.  You'll have personal proof to back up any thoughts that perhaps you too, could have an effect upon consensual reality.

I applaud Hephaestus on claiming his own personal power and realization of his true nature.  And I offer this popular quote for his consideration...Think globally, act locally...

The mess this planet is currently in can only begin to be fixed by starting the changes from within ourselves.  While making those changes we are more apt to keep ourselves free of hypocrisy.  We also stay well within the bounds of Free Will.

As we look around we see others making choices that we know will be self-defeating as well as hurtful to others.  When Spirit prompts us in a major way we should definitely step in and bust whatever may be clouding their vision.  Yet, we must do our best to stay within the bounds of Free Will.  If they choose to continue in their destructive thoughts and behaviors, we must honor that choice.  Who are we to be able to say that they did not incarnate here just for that purpose.

A single person attempting to alter a co-created reality is quite the task Hephaestus.  It seems to me that the first place to start is by somehow awakening ourselves and then others to the fact that what we call reality is very much the product of our collected beliefs.  Be they conscious or subconscious.  All eventual actions will spawn from there.  At least that is how I see it.  The fact that you are at this point is in and of itself a major shift towards creating change.  I congratulate you.

Cheers!

Alot of you need to realise that not everything can be completely explained by logical reasons and calculations. Atleast, not until scientists stop thinking people like us need to be locked up so we don't "taint" others with our "insanity." Personally, I think if Hephaestus believes he can do this, go for it! You'll never get anything or change anything by thinking of what others say is impossible and illogical, just by what your dreams and goals are. Forgive me if I coin a phrase from Nike but... Just do it! Nebaagibuappu (Never give up)

God may or may not have been real, as have all the mystic figures of the world. Remember people talking about how we never went to the moon? How everytime someone says something about seeing Jesus in a hamburger or fire or the sea not many believe but still go there anyway to see if they can spot some logical explanation for this "halucination?" Things can't be explained and so they're written off. Maybe we'll never reach enlightenment, maybe we will. Who really knows

Thank you, Chance, you've explained what I was trying to say way better than I have been able to. Some people need to be a bit more tactful in getting their points across, especially Goingslow, because he/she is essentially rude and doesn't care how his/her posts make others feel. I think he/she actually tries to insult people on purpose. What I've seen from his/her posts in other forums is essentially proof of His/her lack of respect for what others say, which is mindboggling. It is people like him/her who start wars, with their egocentric mentality.

Goingslow-

What in all of creation is your frickin' problem?! I've had enough of your insulting people on this forum. That seems to be all you can do. Don't you have any respect for anyone, or even yourself? Everywhere I go, there's one of your posts insulting one or more people, and it usually occurs with people who post things that only you seem to find too imaginative (if there is such a thing). I think we've had all we can take of your BS. Either grow up and stop acting like the 16-year-olds you accuse everyone else of being, or stop posting. I've tried to be nice about it and help you to understand things a little better, but all you seem to think is that your opinions are the only ones that are right. I don't know what on earth you think justifies your offensive posts. You're not telling anyone anything they haven't already heard before. You're the only person I've ever had a problem with on this forum, and not because you insult me, but because you insult a lot of people, in a blunt and rude manner. Just remember that what goes around comes around. It's like Timeless said- "There's always a bigger fish."

Chance- I've busted up a cloud with my mind before. It was overcast one night and I was going on a ten mile walk. I made a large hole in the cloud mass almost directly above me, a couple miles in diameter. I did it with only a little conscious effort. When I walk, my electromagnetic field increases in size many times. For example, the more I walk by a flickering street light, the farther away it either turns on or off. I think by increasing the size and/or intensity of my EMF I was able to manipulate the cloud with less conscious effort.

Hephaestus, go for it. Be all you can be. Do your thing but whatever you do, don't become a radical. Make sure you keep yourself grounded to something at all times. The kind of task you are taking on can be very dangerous if you are not grounded to something. Always have a reference point.

HERE IS A QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU-

I think Hephaestus's first post has triggered a good question for all of us, which might show us who we really are inside: What would you do IF you came to the conclusions that Hephaestus did? I would try to promote world peace in ways that would not economically or physically hurt the people of all the different countries. I would also try to get people to live in a manner more harmonic with our nature and the nature of the world. I might also try to make contact with extraterrestrials and form intergalactic alliances for universal peace (when mankind was ready).
