i deserve better.

pleased to admit here that i approached Randi and he accused
me in emails of being schizoid.

since then I am so much more accurate in readings.

i am going to take his money,
and i am going to do it on national television.

failing that, i will sue him in court and win,
because i can prove that telepathy is real
with a deck of cards, two rooms and a partner,
and Randi is a charlaitan who was more interested
in embarassing poor Syl than actually having a fair test.

How did it happen? Mutation. I am one of them.

exactly?  sick, i checked myself in to a mental hospital.
)-(  they told me "since you refuse to take Lithium, unless
you submit to this new experimental drug, we won't give you
a bed."  so i gave away my rights.

in the hospital i read the information provided
with the drug, a yellow pill that glowed under normal light.

the information was simple:  3% of the people tested by
Jannsen Pharmeceuticalsexperienced "brain mutations"  - as described by the chemical spec.

i was ruined.  tardive dyskenesia set in.
one day a friend who practices the right hand path
had to walk me to a hospital because my throat was closing up,
my arms and legs were locking up. i was too debilitated to sue.

i was ruined by Jannsen Pharmeceuticals for years.
Meditation and exercise are what helped me recover
and that is not a lie at all.

But also:  what happened was that in the hospital
i read the doctors' minds.  Dr. C-- was going off
to a cabin for a gay weekend!  When I was discharged
he said with a smile "i hope I never see you again."

he was a real doctor -- but the fact remains,
now I read minds.  all the time.  and i was very very empathic before.

i cast charts for a living as you see from the other points, and
i do it because I love people and the stars, and for linda goodman.

i was studying psychic self defense in 1987 with another practitioner.

But what Jannsen did to me hurt my life enough that I needed an advocate.
there was none. But I KNOW that what Randi does is fake.

i intend fully to take his challenge, this year.

he will play mind games because it is a scam. he has no intentions
of giving up that mill.  Then I will descend on him with lawyers,
and he will pay, and I will embarass him in the press.

i won't get to date sylvia browne,
but i will be doing something good for psychics everywhere.

CG Jung predicted the current state of global affairs,
the rampant epidemic of mental illness that has put a staggering drunkard
in charge of nuclear weapons.  He said in a late interview
that if chemicals were used to treat diseases that could be dealt with
by cognitive therapy -- perfected at the University of Pennsylvania
with double blind tests of the sort James Randi uses -
that an epidemic of mental illness would be the result.

JUNG said this in the late fifties, and now there IS an epidemic
of mental illness -- it is that which creates the stalemate in the Mid East,
despite all the people who want Bush out. Bush himself is an adult
child of alcoholics, and that is a sickness, period.

Jung warned the world before he died, but the world went with Freud.
RD LAING later warned the world, and the world of psychoanalysis tried
to silence him.

Now we have people like Donna Cunningham, Linda Goodman and other true
users of mystic tools for psychological help -- but a lot of damage has been done
to our collective mind by the various psychotropic weapons against humanity.

This madness must end.

Yeah, Randi is a fraud, no doubt about that. But I doubt you'll be able to worm his million out of him.

I moved this topic here, as it didn't really fit in Astral Consciousness.

Can you guys please not talk bad about Randi?
He's one of the only guys who I respect.

At least someone cares about the fake readings psychics give to people that had lost someone valueble to them.

If you'd think like me, if you would also how fake psychics really are.
You would know what selfish people they are.
They give people this... "hope", these flawed dreams, and flawed realities.

And when they believe it, they lose all track of reality.
The normal human being isn't smart enough to filter out lies, like religion, or spirituality.
And psychics subconsciously exploit this weakness.

To be absolutely honest, psychics make me sick.

Sharpe

How do you know there is no afterlife?  Surely one would have to die first to find out?

Have you done a search for Randi threads on this website?  There's lots of them - you'd hate them all!!  grin

I love this sentence from you...

Quote from: Sharpe
The normal human being isn't smart enough to filter out lies, like religion, or spirituality.

Are you saying that you are "abnormal" then...or "superior" to us normals?  wink

Seeing as this is a forum covering religion and spirituality (amongst other subjects that you don't care for) and you purport both to be lies, I second manuel's question - what do you hope to achieve by continuing posting here?

Wasn't this site about astral projection?
Maybe it interests me.
I just don't like it in the way this site thinks how it really works.
There just aren't any sites that look at AP without a "woo-woo" theory.

And about my sentence: "The normal human being isn't smart enough to filter out lies, like religion, or spirituality."

The normal human being doesn't even know HOW his thoughts work, I think I can generalise that as a "normal" human being.

I think the more relevant question is: Why did you specificly pick that sentence?
Because you "loved" it (sarcasticly speaking)
What's the joke behind this?

I'll explain, our history has a model of good and bad (usually this comes from religion).
This "behaviour" of good and bad is stereotyped as this: Good = Helps people out that are lower than his status, isn't selfish. (Think Robin Hood)
Bad = The opposite & has a big ego and "likes" to poke fun at people that are lower than his status.

Now because I am specificly pointing out that the "normal" human being is stupid, this forms the idea that I'm "superior" to those who are "normal"?
Someone who says he's superior also means that this individual has a huge ego, huge ego falls in the "bad" section/personality.

Now pushing me into the "bad" section obviously makes me lose status, which would make you feel "good" or better than before.

Oh, but excuse me, I drifted off stating your automated behaviour that EVOLUTION has given us.
NOT GOD.
But ofcourse, if we know how the human brain works by studying human behaviour like yours, we would easily come up with the conclusion that you do not "exist".
Only your body and your brain, that do exactly what other humans do depending on the environment they are inhabiting.

My god!
So "you" do not exist, all your behaviour are just imitations from the morals you have learned in your environment?
And all this comes from your brain.
I just wonder what would happen if you would suddenly die.
Surely your personality (which is just a model in your subconscious, build from trial and error / social interactions / your environment) would live on right?

Hm, but the material of your brain, of that specific area all stay on earth...
So how do you take your personality with you to the afterlife?

This is a binary choice, you either take it or you don't.
All the evidence states that you do not.

Ah, I forgot about the "sooooouuul"!!!
So this "soul" takes no memory, no learnings, no emotions, because we know all of this is located in the brain.
What does the soul take to the afterworld then?
If it takes no memories, what's the point?

The point is, that there is none.
There's no afterlife.
If you do not know how your thoughts work, then don't talk back to someone who does.
Good day!  angry

Hi Sharpe

I see my lighthearted and jocular play on the word "normal" was lost on you.

Oh well.  You can't win 'em all!  smiley

Yes, I know it was "meant" to be lighthearted and jocular, but if you actually *can* look above it.
You'd notice it goes way deeper than just comedy.
Because comedy doesn't exist.

Hi Sharpe,

Like you I'm only interested in the phenomenon of astral-projection
without any religious or spiritual concepts attached to it.
A lot of people are probably not aware, that this phenomenon and their
favorite spiritual concepts about it are not one and the same thing.
There is this circular logic, that because the phenomenon exists, the
religious concepts must be the truth.

What you said about the functions of the body and the brain and about the myth of a reincarnating
soul reminds me a lot of U.G. Krishnamurti ( not Jiddu).
here is a link about that guy :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uppaluri_Gopala_Krishnamurti

I respect peoples beliefs although I don't want to share them.
Is this place really like a church where atheists or non-believers are not welcome?  undecided
