Hi everyone!

I just had a strange experience about a week ago and can't stop thinking about it... Can't even give it a name....

So I was takeing a walk with a buddy of mine and I just told her a very personal thing about myself. After she replied to it, I cracked a joke and suddenly realized, that I dreamed about this situation like two years ago, when those things I was talking about with her were happening.

In that dream I didn't know who I was conversing with, because my gaze was wandering around while we were walking. But in this moment it just downed on me that I was talking to her in that dream. It was really bizarre, because I spoke with the same tone like in my dream, said the same words, and the environment was the same, and it felt like I am just watching the whole scenario from a distance and waking up again when it was over. Like it happened before.

Really a dream came true, I know.... tongue

Has anyone ever experienced similar things? How do you explain it/call it?

Cheers,
rain

The dream you had way back when is termed a "False Awakening"

My perception of the astral is that 'time sequence' there flows in the opposite direction of ours, so in my mental model the event with your friend happened first.

Deep in our mind's inner folds
We catch a glimpse of what the future holds
Fanciful thoughts or a vision true
This is the essence of deja vu

I work with intangible systems design and geek out with particle physics on the side. I couldn't really give you solid proof or a nice logic track, but everything seems to point to a singular alternate dimension with inhabitants living under an equal and opposite set of constraints. This would fall under that notion. Every duality has a 'dominant' for the lack of a better metaphor when you assume a perspective. When we look at consciousness. They are the dominant.

Think relativity. The way it appears, What we call space, they perceive as time, Our time is their space, and with that the direction of time reverses as well.

Pure hypothesis, but after all my studies, and reading so many sources, I have this hunch. As for understanding, it cant be truly visualized while maintaining a viewpoint that our greater reality revolves around us.

well, time doesn't exist, but since mass consciousness thinks time is linear, you were just able to see the 'future'.

Hey Contenteo, I have wondered what this meant (alongside the phrase under your avatar).

I thought maybe it meant you try to order non-physical realities in some way, but I wasn't sure.

Here is a very unique and technical viewpoint of "deja vu" from Daniel Dennett who is Fletcher Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Center of Cognitive Studies at Tufts University. The conversation on "deja vu" starts at the 15:00 minute point. The entire presentation is rather interesting. Enjoy!  smiley

I work in accounting of sorts, except, where an accountant would look at the physical and that changes over time to get an idea of what is happening, I specialize in the opposite. I observe the intangible functions occurring in a business and through snapshots of physical state, construct a model of what is happening in a business. I make processes more efficient and prevent the physical cost/benefit analysis from ruining many a good business function.

Many of the common occurrences in business models actually parallel what I have observed in the nature of projection, i.e. reflection periods, intent, recording in pictures, pretty much the entire design process amongst many other more difficult to put into words phenomenon.

The word 'accountant' is too mainstream and gets misinterpreted, so I introduce myself as a intangible systems designer, which is essentially the same thing.

As for ordering non-physical realities, yeah, it could be put that way because 'reality' exists in an individuals' mental models. Emotion, in this way, would be the discrepancy between those mental models and what really occurs. That is essentially what I study and manage on a daily basis. You can see the high level of correlation between that and the projection process, hence my fascination and strong presence here.  smiley
