Have you ever just all of a sudden realize  that you are lying wide awake in your bed but you have no memory of waking up and you have no idea how long you've been awake or what woke you up? All you do know is that for some reason you feel its safe to say that you've been awake for atleast a little while because you are wide awake and in deep thought. It feels almost like a  black out when your drunk and you just all of a sudden come to. I'm not sure what this means if anything at all. But would love to know if anyone else has experienced this and what it was like and/or if they think it means anything significant. Thanks!

When you're meditating or cultivating trance, and all of a sudden you realize that you can't remember what you were thinking a nanosecond ago and lose time, realizing you may have momentarily lost consciousness (fell asleep?) but not for long.

Don't worry about it. When my lack of sleep hits home I can close my eyes at midnight and then open them again and its 6 in the morning. No recollection of anything inbetween. It's rare, where that time went is a mystery.

There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

This has hapenned to me a couple of times. Once i went to bed at 7:00 pm i was just trying to astral project. Next thing i know i get and look at the clock it was 11:00 pm.But i would describe it as the hypnogetic state.

It sounds more like the Hypnoforgotit State!  grin

I call it clicking out, well that term was first used by the pioneer of AP Robert Monroe. The trick is learning to consciously click back in while the projection is in full play.  wink
