Ah, theres a bit of cultural difference here though, Tabloids in Britain are different from those in th U.S and perhaps Canada. The Sun Newspaper is the biggest selling newspaper in Britain, and I'm 99% sure it wouldn't make up something like that, I remember reading about it too and the story had quotes from the police force as well. What I believe you understand by tabloid (correct me if I'm wrong) is something like the enquirer or one of those strange papers that make up ludicrus stories about celebrities etc?
