yeah...come to think about it, its depression. u think ur life sux and u do always have a negative outlook. thats your reason right there. when im depressed im so drained i can barely walk, no joke. u can sit there and deny all the facts becuz u convinced yourself u are depressed and its always gonna be like that and u'll never get your energy. just deny and deny and ur negative illusion will become reality bcuz u wont wake up from it.
depression itself basically is a big fat, decieving, energy sucking demon. now use positive energy and thoughts and blast that b**ch away.
u need to learn how to laugh at your problems. and dont whine and say "i cant help it! im too depressed! my energy is gone! " well maybe the energy surges are just you. ever think of that? maybe ur waking up and u found sumthing to live for. its all u, ur not being dragged along.

Meditate twice a day will keep the vampires away. Asana's for the chakra's are great too (meditating is passive, sometimes it's nice to add some movement while focussing on your breathing, I do asanas immediately after getting out of bed)

Of course the guys at work call me an a-hole, and hey they aughta know. And sense I dont know anyone here I'll just force my opinion in at random moments.  
   Perhaps Beavis, you could try and forget all about your energies, your talents, and begin to focus on building the energy and talents of others more vigorously.  I do not know you, your habits, or daily activities, and forgive me for being presumpuious but maybe some volenteer work for the needy.  Instead of focusing on those things you no longer seem to have, cast an eye to those who seem to have lost everything.  In the shadow of those who have practically nothing your world might seem a little brighter. Especially if you help them feel better about theirs.  "We get what we give", is a common expression.  Perhaps you have your talents for that very reason, perhaps because of hard work on your part, or from good deeds in your very distant past, whatever the case the ledger is in the red, you need to balence it if you want things to return.  Maybe who knows.

here is how i see it, when i am happy i have more energy than when i am sad, i think most people will agree with that. so do something that makes you happy. I've read about these little things called endorphons. They give you a really energetic and positive feeling. Personally i always get them when i lift weights ( thats why my dad always tells me to mow the yard after im done working out cuase i cant say no.) so find something productive to do that will keep you happy and your energy shouldincrease. Also you actually can oversleep and that can cuase you to feel drained so try not to get to much or not enough sleep. I would say about 8-10 hours at most.

Beavis-I can really relate to what you say about losing energy-

I began astral projection/OBE about 13 years ago.when I first started,I was firing myself out of my body into space (RTZ),and astral dimensions.I would just simply lie down to relax,get this "funny feeling" and close my eyes,and would project.

over the years something strange happened-projection attempts got gradually more difficult (especially to the RTZ),and I had less and less success at my attempts.

I haven't projected concously in a couple years now[][][][]-despit having NO FEAR,and clear goals (planetary/space exploration).I have been practicing/meditating more frequently though recently,and feel as if things may change soon if I keep it up.

I have been on anti-depressants for severe social anxiety for about 2 years now-and that basically steals most of my energy right there.

while I haven't practiced/trained TK yet (I plan on it)I know what it feels like to have such a vital element of your life just gone.[!]

what I see in hindsight (20/20 vision-as the cliche goes) is that I never did enough so safeguard the energy I did have,and didn't do enough energy work to build more energy.I also didn't have a handle on my mental health.

it's also very important to remember the mind/body connection-an olympic athlete doesn't just run around trying to keep their body in shape-they also train their mind.metaphysics can be compared to a kind of "mental olympics",and therefore it's important to not only train the basic mental abilities,but to balance and strengthen ALL ASPECTS of your life path.

it may just be that the taking away of your abilities (and mine) are ways for the spirit (for want of better term) to get you to gather all of your resources,and learn from your mistakes and aspects of yours/my life that threaten the foundation of the search for transcendant knowledge-which is physical life experience itself.To get us to do ANYTHING to get that missing part of ourselves back-and next time,take it to a new level.

Beavis i can assure you that your abilities will be coming back better than ever if they already havent.Do you watch tv ?? if so dont watch any tv anymore because tv is the greatest mind control tool known to man and will bring you back to a state of normality,beavis and butthead is alright to watch though[].
So yeh no tv,no hard drugs,dont associate with the outside world to much till your abilities come back,because that aswell brings you back to a state of normality,normality sucks and is something i havent been exposed to for a couple of years.

I'm getting some of my energy back. This morning while sleeping, after not projecting for a long time, I accidentally had the best astral projection ever. It was to the real time zone. It started right after a weird semi-lucid dream.

I dont think that^ is whats happening to me.

I'm slowly getting back some energy. In the last 2 weeks I had 1 projection (rtz, 1 minute), 2 times I did telekinesis, and 6 lucid dreams (some of them very short).

Its still not close to what it used to be. I could do telekinesis 6 times in 1 minute.

A basic chart maps your Physical, Emotional and Intellectual levels over time. Each rhythm has a periodic cycle. As far as I understand they converge at birth - which is used as a starting reference. So I'd type in a number or do a test for each of those variables and it tells me the pattern? Theres general statistics software for that. But I think I can do a good enough job of it without a computer.

Slowly over the last year I've lost most of my energy. I dont know what to do to get it back. Everything I did to get it the first time has yielded only minor improvements. And sometimes I lose it all again. I used to be good at energy. I could do telekinesis within 10 seconds of trying every time. Telepathy was almost easy. I could sometimes do OBE. I've done all that over the last year, but less often as time gets closer to now. Now I can hardly do anything. Why is it so much harder to relearn? What should I do?
