Hello everyone:

I have started this section as a central spot for people to post their requests, and for caring people to pray/meditate/send positive thoughts.

If you don't believe in a particular religion, you can still send positive thoughts/energies.

NOTE: This thread differs from the healing section, as it covers a broader range of possibilities. You can ask for prayers/thoughts/blessings/meditations for whatever it is you or someone else need(s): College acceptance, a job, forgiveness, understanding, finding something you're looking for, that a missing child is found, etc.

I have a job interview next week (Monday) and I could really use your prayers. The interview will be at 11am Eastern Time (GMT -0500), so prayers and positive vibes, especially ones sent at that time will be greatly appreciated.

It's a really good opportunity, the pay is good and it's in my field (Graphic Design) which I ache to get back into.

Thank you to all who prayed for me. I interviewed well, but I'm up against 42 people.

I have another interview tomorrow (different company) and sure could use the prayers again.

Sotty if i am being an abuser by asking this, but can you pray for my girlfriend? She has an uncertain future (job). She is very upset and worried about that. Maybe she got to get out from the country ....life in Portugal is hard as hell. Its the third country of European Union.

Thansk a lot and you can be sure that i will pray for you too guys. Even if i dont want (but i want!!) i will at least pray for 2-3 persons here as a kind of payment ... I mean, i feel that i should give more than what i receive. Thank you!

I called called the lady about the job (with the 42 qualified applicants) and left a message...I got a response today. She said that she called three people back for second interviews and didn't say I was one of them. Oddly enough, she encouraged me to take the civil service test next March (this is a county job), as she said they will be ultimately hiring off that list.

Thank you again for praying for me. I will keep plugging away. I had a phone interview yesterday (with another organisation) for a job which combines my graphic, office and telecom experience, and am hoping that will lead to an in-person interview and an offer. Better yet, there is a State job which I really want the most (a straight-on graphics job) and have all the qualifications for.
