CFTraveler, its curious, that before i read your post i was about to say somthing that is in very accordance with what you say. You say that:
"And there is always the possibility that what you were praying for wasn't your highest good. "

Thats very true in this right moment about my prays about my ex-girlfriend....i prayed once that i want to be together with her for life, and now we broke up and she is with another guy. That broke my hearth! But after the "negative" phase i started to wake up and with a clear mind i can see that she was not the girl for me. She is loyal and somewhat a good person but she was very, very unstable on many aspects (hey, she was a normal psycological girl, lol, not a retard!). She was not giving me love. Now that we broke up i see that she was not clearly the girl. And God answered to my prayers. Now iam with a girl that is soooo much better (not talkking about body! just er personality), a girl that really loves me and i love too. God answered my prayers in another different way.

If i didnt broke up with the other one (as i wished) things would be worst for me, you can bet!

ahhhh, pray for me(lol= to pass my math exam this next monday starting at 8:30/8:40 pm til 10:10 pm.God, i'll even get myself content with a score of 10.(that's like c-)

Hello all
I am pretty new to this site as i was browsing i saw the prayer circle and i thinks a great thing to have for everyone here.

Anyways i sure do need some prayers .
A relationship with God has always been an important part of my life and close to my heart.

A month ago  my dear mother who i love very much and who i am very close to was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 aggressive lung Cancer.Needless to say hearing this is devastating and  shock because we all had originally thought she had just hurt her back ..that is what we initially first took her to the hospital to get looked at because she was in sever pain from her back so anyways they did a scan to look at the back and thats when we got the news about the Cancer...she has since been doing chemo and radiation treatments ..its all happened so very fast...and its be extra hard because we just 4 years ago my sister and I lost our brother.
The Dr's have told my sister and I that they don't think she has very long a cpl months  to 6 months if we are lucky.
My mom has been so strong and positive through this and is determined not to give up ..i am so proud of her.
I will tell you about an experience that she had ..this about 2 weeks ago and she was still in the hospital at the time and she wasn't groggy or feeling drugged up at the time  at all.
But it was at night at around 10 Pm she said and she was laying in her hospital bed reading and then she this feeling that someone else was in the room with her ..like right behind her and then she got this feeling as if there was warmth around her neck almost warmth from hands like feeling and then a she said it felt like someone gently  kissed the back of her neck ..and then that was it...she has no idea who it was that came to see her but she has not doubt in her mind that someone did.
Anyways i am asking for all of your prayers and positive energy please for my mom and my family through out this situation ...the idea of loosing her in just a few short months is really hard to accept ..i cant imagine this world with out her in it.

Dear Dlee: I definitely will pray for her Highest Good.  You definitely have my sympathies, and my prayers.  Every hand that touches her is the Healing Hand of God.  Keep that in mind, and regardless what happens, she will know she is loved.
