We used to call them fantasies, daydreams, imaginary friends and nightmares. We also sometimes called them angels, demons, spirits, ghosts and fairies.

Now that we are entering this 'awakening' are we just giving old thoughts a new name?

The names changed when the meaning of those names were finally experienced at a deeper level.

Most people I know today still use the "old names" though. Not everyone has "chose" to see the way we do. Our priorities seem to change upon a "awakening" or life altering experience. I have talked to some people, when I do my shows on the road, that state that they gave up a 6 figure job and lifestyle and totally walked away from it all when they had their "experience". They had a totally new mindset. Not everyone can afford that in their lives. Not everyone is even ready to try. That's not a knock on those people though. We have just chosen a different path then they have.  smiley

You're right of course and I can attest to making life altering decisions not being easy. I can't do it myself but I totally understand the need/desire. I just keep thinking how incredibly easy it is for kids to take all this in stride and accept their oddities as totally natural, at least until the grown-up world convinces them otherwise. If we could retain or regain that simplicity then projecting should be the easiest thing on Earth.

Yes, I remember when I was a child, me and my friends from the neighborhood believed in magic, fairy lands, fantasy creatures, ETs, etc. We would spend long nights during the summer vacations talking with such enthusiasm about visiting other worlds, having magical objects, etc. It was so much fun. Well, when we started to grow up I observed how slowly all the magic from our lives started to disappear, as the "real" world started to take over our lives. I was very disappointed and a little confused, because I wasn't loosing my beliefs. They still remain to this day as they were back then. And one day (as a grown up) I actually discovered that they were real. I experienced them myself. I knew I was right and they were wrong,  but it was very sad and lonely to not be able to share this with my friends like before.

As far as name changing, I' ve experienced them all, from fairies, creatures and magical lands, to ETs (one incident in the physical world), ghosts (in the physical world), lost souls, diseased relatives, intention becoming a reality in the physical world, oneness in the high realms, etc. I don't like to loose any of them. After all, anything you desire to experience becomes a reality for you whatever term you wish to use.

Thanks LightBeam for adding that. I wonder though at what made the difference between you and your friends. We talk about imagination and we all know that is a huge part of being a kid but what about those parts that are not imagination?

Like when I was kid and played with my Barbie and Ken doll - I imagined all kinds of scenarios but that is all that was (my imagination). It wasn't real and there was no pretending that could or would make it so. On the other hand the spirit/being that smiled at me in the kitchen was very real and despite having no knowledge of ghosts I knew immediately what he was.

So I wonder why you didn't start to lose your beliefs? You've tapped into where I am trying to go with this.

Our main thing was discussing hidden portals and going through them to different worlds. As a child I did not experience any AP or LDs or extraordinary events, except one ET encounter. I consider ETs from our reality as something normal. Just like meeting ppl from another country in a smaller scale if you will. But I just have that knowing that these other worlds existed, although we just dreamed of finding these portals. Well, I found them, of course cant teleport with my physical body, but that is irrelevant since the experiences in the other dimensions with your spirit feel even more real than in this reality.

This is a great question to drill down into Nameless, thank you for creating it!

It is an insightful, implicit point to ask, " What made the difference in our experiences between our own and that of our friends?"

I had early childhood experiences but they were all cloaked in Dreams. Mostly OBEs but also one ET event and a few semi-physical events. None of it I could share with family; they were completely disinterested. There was also zero family history to draw on. My childhood friends were also similarly unaware. Pretty quickly, I learned to go silent.

As young boys, we didn't discuss much of fantasy, except to briefly express it, but in no way to give it any credence. When I came to realize this contextualization around me, at about the age of ten, I quit discussing my experiences altogether and kept them internalized; apparently no one else was getting the experiences I was.

But like LightBeam says, I had a knowing about it all...

I distinctly remember sitting in my third grade class, looking at all the other students, and realizing that I am somehow an alien being placed here among them...

I didn't have a PR ghost experience until I was about 22, but that was a solid event that confirmed my PR/NPR context...it has only widened since then...I am an observer...

Ha, I've had the same thoughts when I was a child. For a while I felt so different, that I was seriously thinking that some alien race dropped me here on earth and I was wondering when were they coming to get me back LOL.

LightBeam - So you just knew. Did you ever get the sense that any of the other kids 'knew' or have you met others (strangers) you felt also had 'the knowing'? I'm actually really curious as to why some ppl don't seem to know. From my position they are the oddity, lol.

EV - Your experience is very much like mine. "I distinctly remember sitting in my third grade class, looking at all the other students, and realizing that I am somehow an alien being placed here among them..." I had that distinct impression when I was three but then again in middle school. Somewhere between I tended to forget and pretend to be normal.

We need a thread on 'The Knowing'. A place where we can jot down stuff we just know. Like I have always been able to talk to trees and rocks but I have always 'known' that it isn't really the trees or rocks I'm talking to, it's just easier to say that.

Same here, its a wonderment of knowing the knowing without the others knowing at all.
A topic on this will be interesting as things can be recorded even if for prosperity.

Unfortunately I did not get the sense that they did. When we were in senior high, I would bring up stories from our childhood and they would laugh like we were naive to believe. I look at it that way, if there is a classroom full of students and there is one teacher, I dont think the teacher is the oddball Smiley
