What do I work toward, that is the same after death of Human body?

I dont want to work toward something, only to lose it when my Human body dies. Whatever I work toward, I want it to last a very long time. Spirit may die sometime. I dont know. And there may be other parts of us that live even longer.

I'm not looking for a religion like obey these rules and you'll get a good afterlife.

The spirit parts of us have mind that exists even after Human body dies, so whatever that spirit works toward I get to keep longer.

I think I work toward something about building new life forms, especially simulated minds and learning how things work and doing experiments. That could be done in some form after my Human body dies since the astral field all around can be shaped into machine parts, but I dont know how reliable those parts can be made. They tend to fall apart and decay into random vibrations. Its not exactly machine parts I need. Anything that works in a consistent way can be used as a foundation of more advanced things. As a math person, I'm happy to use any form of reality as long as it works by some known rules, including rules of what new rules can be created or caused to have more or less influence in different places.

What things are the same here and there, which can be used to have common goals between them? I dont want to work toward things that are as temporary as a Human life, but I also dont want to waste my time here.

Look around you right now.  Take in EVERYTHING that you see, hear, feel, etc...

All of that is "physical".  Anything that is "physical" doesn't come with you when you die.

So what does come with you when you die?  Well, you take with you everything that's part of you which is NON-PHYSICAL. 

I'm not sure how I describe what those things are though.  Anything to do with your consciousness, your awareness, your love, your interactions, what that consciousness and awareness has learned in terms of Love and Spiritual Growth. 

So anything and everything directly related to being this physical being in this physical reality stays here.

     My personal belief is in reincarnation. So by that standard it's best to raise children that can grow up and end more suffering in this world, by working for something positive. This is where the sword of discernment must be gained and used. Discernment is the ability to judge well. This is best gained by not raising sheep that conform to societies standards, which gives them more free will. Free will is a rare expression of the spirit IMHO. The best way to do that is to not raise your children to be on computers and phones all the time chatting and doing whatever. You have to guild them into the truths, into the right direction by SEEKING truth and reality. In seeking truth and reality they gain the sword of discernment and that they in turn pass down to their children, and on and on.

     This is what I am going to do. And in doing so I hope to reincarnate through my children's children in a better place than where I reincarnated at. Regardless if reincarnation is even true, and this whole thing possible, seeking truth and ending suffering is still a noble thing to do.

     And of course along the way I will learn to love my children and they will learn to love me. Which of course will follow you into the afterlife.

its all 1 world. Physical and astral are just 2 views of the same thing, but around here things are more dense and harder to change their shape. I agree I cant take any of the objects with me, not even my brain. What I want to take with me is as much of my mind as possible. I think brainwaves imprint somehow on spirit mind. I have a mind while out of body. Some of that is probably the brain, but it couldnt be all.

I'm not going to have kids or get married because it consumes your life leaving little time for anything else. Tech often does distract so much metaphysics doesnt work in the mind. I'm looking for ways involving simulated minds creating music and psychedelic visuals like a game, to get them to work together.

Beavis we all came to incarnate in this realm here to experience. Having kids, getting married. etc. Those are all experiences that involve love and every other emotion known to man. Sure they are not always going to be good experiences. But be it good, bad or ugly, they are all experiences. Experiences and what you learned from them are what you take with you when you leave here.

Look at the big picture. You learn about why people do the things they do rather than what the people do. You adapt this to all lifeforms and interactive inanimate objects too.
When you learn enough, you'll understand so much more. To use an old saying ( thought exercise required ), a wasp will do as a wasp will do.
