I think it depends on who you ask. I think in general OBEs refer to etheric projection, or projecting into the Real Time Zone, and Astral Projection is projecting to the Astral Plane. Though I do see them substituted for each other so really you have to take them in context with what the poster is talking about.

The Astral plane is somewhere where perception of time can be decieving, here you can create things and do things by thought alone, peoples dreams can manifest here. The Real Time Zone RTZ is when you are here in the real world but etherically projecting, time continues as it does in the physical world, you are basically just leaving your body and not travelling to the astral plane.

yeah, I see the real world all the time anyway. I want to travel in the astral but I think I'm not quite ready. Almost, but not quite. I have a feeling it'll be this year.
