It seems like a lot of cities have strange street names...what are some around you?

I've come across:

Bonus Ally Road (by far the strangest)
Carton Ave
Winner Ave (In one of the not-so-nice sections of town)
Expense St. (Also in one of the not-so-nice sections of town)

Osmancık road.
Osman is a name and in Turkish Osmancık road means "The little Osman road"
and Horror string. Horror string is a very narrow road which is placed on a cliff it is easy to fall down so they call it by this name.. -Again in Turkey-

I know that the name's not too strange, but we have about 47 different Peachtree Streets in Atlanta. It can be quite confusing for an out-of-towner.

Hahaha Stookie, I was going to mention that!  Crazy how many there are.  I hate all the one-way streets.. I try not to go downtown too much.

There was a recent program on the origin of word's called "bulderdash& piffle" where they would choose odd and taboo word's and see if they could  find earlier origin's of the word to take to the writer/author's of the oxford English dictionary to get the history and meaning changed.
They were successful in many cases, like with the word COOL, but the taboo word was C*&T and there was a place were prostitutes hanged out that is still called grope-c*&t-lane sorry if Anyone's offended but if you don't believe just look it up!!!
