sore finger rd in arizona. I passed it while traveling to the grand canyon. Then I got to thinking there has to be some type of story behind the name you know.

There is a town in England called Crackpot, made the news a couple of weeks ago since those car road map navigation systems (eg tomtoms) were sending people to cliff edges who were not exactly asking for a seaside tour. So well named town then.

Mount Pleasant, strange because its where I used to live. I even took the Mount Pleasant sign with me when I moved, so I actually do come from the mountain, and water is under the bridge.

There is a road in PA called Street Rd. I can't help but think how bad these guys imaginations must have been that the only name for a road they could think of was Street Rd.

And FL has two roads called Florida and Nebraska. But there is another road called Floribraska. I guess it intersects both Florida and Nebraska?!
