Hello people.

I finally consciously projected last night. I remember getting hit with a full wave of vibrations, and concentrating on the tinglyness, and before I knew it, I was flying high speed through seven 'portals.' I knew I was out, because I was unable to feel my body.

But I was astrally blind and could not see. I remember telling myself to open my third eye, and then for a brief few seconds, I saw the wolf from Okami before I woke up.

Can anyone help me to see?

p.s. what were those seven portals I flew threw before exiting?

I have a few questions to help clear things up:

What makes you think they were "portals"? Did you experienced them before actually projecting? If you couldn't see, what was your experience of them?

Portals, circles, chakras, whatever. They were something, I'm not sure exactly what. They looked kinda like purple/blue bagels. I saw them and flew them on the exact moment of projection.

They were the only thing I saw or experience before I returned to my body, other than the wolf.

If you could see those bagels and you could see the wolf, then you have the ability to see non-physically. You just need more experience. Keep practicing.

i remember the first time i astral projected i couldnt see anything. I knew i was projecting because i could feel myself flying. I just kept going higher and higher and i couldnt open my eyes. It was quite scary. I had to learn to open my astral eyes. This is why i try to just have lucid dreams instead of projet but one day i will do it.

Being blind after projecting can be frustrating and I've had this problem many times.  I noticed that all I had to was 'mentally ease my eyes open slowly' the tricky part was to do this without opening them physically.  All about practice though.  smiley

I've experienced this a few times, but not too often. When I do, however, I sense my way around. Its almost like sonar with dolphins or bats I think (can't say for sure as I'm not a dolphin or bat), but essentially I can 'feel' my surroundings and I get a visual image in my brain -- but it isn't from seeing the surroundings. I have no idea how else to explain this. But it is distinctly different from visual sight of the surroundings. And if I end up blind, I find that by using my sense to get around and do whatever I want to do, eventually my sight comes. My guess, and its only that, is that sight tends to be the last sense for me that is enabled. Not sure why. It could be that my awareness isn't sharp enough, or that it's too sharp. When I experience this, it is during the beginning of the experience. And at those times, I'm too aware of the fact that I've just phased somewhere. But as my awareness focuses totally on my surroundings and I forget about the phasing, my vision kicks in. That's why, at least for me, it seems to be linked to my awareness still being too focused on physical/phasing process.

seeing, hearing, touch, feeling, all sound like physical body stuff. Whats all that human senses got to do with the psyche. Just let go of being human and expecting to have results as the human body/mind does. You are wanting to have out of body/mind experiences? Then let it happen, just let go.
