Question,
When we project and view the astral world - is this what we are really seeing? Like if I'm looking at a tree in the astral, is it a tree? Lets say people too - if I am looking at my wife, could it be her or my sub-consciousness clothing as someone else?
Secondly - has anyone tested the astral sight? What the sight is weak or strong when out of body?

I've actually had a guy morph into a girl, only after I thought.."hmmm, you are not this man" ...funny how it is the other way around for you. I wonder now, was it me making him morph because at that instant I felt he wasn't feeling or acting right, or did he morph because I figured him out.? Interesting. I've also had them totally disappear after I questioned whom they were really trying to portray. Even more interesting. Nay

its that s#&^t that drives me crazy and trying to reason it out but you know inside you'll never get the same chance again, but maybe out of luck.
don't get me wrong i've met up with the same friends, relatives, loved one's that are static but its the one's that are not - a higher helper, thought form, or just someone running behind the scenes having fun.

That's what I meant about them not "feeling or acting" right. It's taken me some years to figure out the difference and yeah....sometimes I'm slow at the gate, but usually I figure them out. I have to say that my thoughts were also along the line of them having a bit of fun as well, albeit at my expense, but harmless non the less. Well....until you get the ones whom try and look like your husband, wife, etc. and you're having that lovely ummmmm....us time. Nothing like realizing that only AFTER they've tasted a bit of the fruit. Least they could do is buy me dinner. Nay

I was told by my classical guitar instructor that if you look into the eyes directly of that person you are talking to - if there's a sparkle then its real authentic consciousness of someone else, but if there is no spark then its your sub-consciousness creating the thought form.
i do recall in a projection that I tested this to be so - have you ever tried this or anyone else heard about this theory to test?

I've done that. But it wasn't because of a sparkle or lack of one that made me realized they weren't whom they said. It was a feeling or an action..*shrugs shoulders* I can't explain it...I just felt they weren't whom they were suppose to be. Then again over the months, I'm beginning to understand that people's experiences are just not always on the same track, ya know what I mean? LOL...I just got a flash of...oh, I do believe it was Sarah that talked about seeings a red eye in her room during a real time projection, only to find out it was the mouse for her computer... I guess what I'm trying to say is if you believe and that feels right to you, then whom is to say that you being able to distingish the difference by shining eyes is wrong? Go with what you feel is right. You say you've tested this...so what was the outcome, I'm totally curious now! Nay EDIT: After thought.. I've noticed that some, when I do try and look into their eyes, they seem to fade as well. So there might be something to that, atleast in my reality..

gotta love it eh!! well back in the day when I first started to learn about astral projection I was excited, anxious and went around asking everyone if they ever left their bodies.. needless to say my classical guitar instructor replied "yes" and from there we built a great foundation helping each other and understanding more. today, I don't do that much running around town asking people, but more a less with friends, co-workers that I know openly that I can trust without them thinking I'm crazy. in my college days - psychology class we happened to get in the discussion of dreams and I just happened to move the discussion to astral projection. needless to say, I was for weeks explaining, giving diagrams, and answering questions on oobe. got a 'A' in the class.. tvos

I haven't interacted with many people on my travels, but those I have I treat the same way as I would physical people. I use my intuition/gut feeling as to whether they are genuine or not. This may be what Nay means when she's talks about a feeling/action?
And if I'm wrong, then hopefully I learn from my mistakes. I'm now trying to think of a time when I've been wrong, either in the physical or non-physical - and I can't think of one - so I must be doing something right.
Mind you, most of my experiences have been in the RTZ, where I've mainly be alone.
Nay - it wasn't me regarding the red eye - but I remember reading it - made me laugh for a few days!

Hi Sarah, Yep, intuition/gut feeling that is what I mean. Dang I wish I could remember whom talked about the red eye..that was too funny! This is off subject... well there was morphing involved, but I just finished watching an old movie called, "ladyhawk" I can't believe I missed that one from years ago. I cried..geez I'm a big baby. Anyone else seen that movie? I wanna be a wolf too! Nay
