i heard wierd noises

I've heard stuff trying to project but I haven't projected yet either.  I heard a clock noise a weird low pitched buzz noise a high pitched buzz noise.  I even heard voices before.  Once as a child while waking up and once recently trying to project.  If you want you can read my post about the voices and the tick tock I heard last night at http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7930

When one relaxes, the state of transe is reached. That is basically a state "on the way to sleep", and as such it is known in dream study as the "hypnagonic state" (scientifically defined). During that state one already starts to have visions and hearing like in the dream like realm. So all the sounds and visions that one has while trying to OBE are usually that. There are additional sounds that people can. (1) the famous vibrations that sounds like a high pitch whistling (like a TV turned on); these vibrations are the sign that "the door to the astral has been open for you", or if you prefer that you are ready to OBE. (2) often it sounds that sounds are amplified very much, sounds like our very own "snoring, breathing", or sounds from ouside (in the garden, kitchen,...). So that all in all there are 3 kinds of sounds that you can hear. THe most important question is what are these sounds from the hypnagonic state? Scientist believe they are just dream like things, while "we" believe they are from the astral realm (spirits talking to us...).

Has anyone here heard noises while trying to project? When i was trying to project i would hear noises of people/spirits/souls or whatever you like to call them. I'm not sure if it was my mind or real Astral noises. It sounded like every once in a while someone went passed me fast and making a noise, or just talking to someone. They were either foreign noises or just too fast for me to understand. Has anyone else heard these, i want to know if i'm gettin closer to Astral!
