Hey all,

Iv read and heard a few claims about fasting for a day or so to help achieve OBE's, Has anyone else heard much on this..?

They say it can help as the energy getting used to digest your food can be directed elsewhere (to help achieve an out of body state..) I don't really no about it.. I think more just eating light and healthy would be fine. Obviously its best not to down a huge T-bone prior.

I just keep thinking lately how simple it is and that not much matters at all besides getting to a deep relaxed state and staying consciously aware.. If you can get that down pat and get your body asleep then your almost always going project.

If one doesn't have medical reasons for not fasting, i.e diabetic, than fasting in moderation has been shown to have many great effects.

Once you have started burning fat and the hunger feeling lessens than there may be a window that opens that could make having an OOBE easier.

However, you may be seeing giant cheeseburgers from the planet McMars the whole time. grin

Seriously though, if your health doesn't preclude fasting from being a bad idea than, it might help some.

Understand that it takes a Dr. to tell you if you are healthy enough.

I do not have much input on the fasting helps or not. Actually my best session was yesterday when I was hungry , hadn't eat for many hours. Also
You should avoid some substances like: Artificial sweeteners(Neotame and Aspartame) also Fluoride because of it's effect on the pineal gland.

Interesting, Ill keep that in mind.

I actually tried this yesterday, I didn't fast for too long, I just didn't consume anything but water from dinner the night prior up until dinner the next night.

At about 4.00pm prior to eating i attempted to project, Unfortunately as usual there was way too much back ground noise in my house, But Despise that, I still got to a REALLY deep relaxed state really quick, And i mean SUPER deep! I was quite amazed. I had directed all my thought and energy into the visuals and i really felt i was pulled in deep, I felt i was only consciousness for some period, My body was long gone and it was very easy to obtain and hold this.

So fasting, Defiantly interesting, Will be experimenting again me thinks. Smiley

An idea for newbies maybe. ?
