What are Tom Campbell's views on karma? Does he observe it as a real phenomenon, or just one of those "limiting beliefs" from the Buddhism faith?

If this has been discussed already kindly point me to the thread please.....Thanks

I don't know TC's views on karma yet but, if the topic interests you, take a look at some of the material from the Cayce readings. The suggestion there is that karma is a very real part of natural law but only in the sense that lessons must be learned and that one has inherent predispositions to encounter people and situations where those lessons will arise. Karmic lessons can often span many lives and many encounters with the same entities.

Dolores Cannon talks about Karma quite a bit too. She says before we came into this lifetime we made "contracts" with the people in our lives. She says now in order to be free and ascend to a higher plane we must cancel our contracts with the people that have done us wrong through our lifetime and finally forgive them. Her process is saying "I rip up this contract between "whomever" and myself, I forgive you, I release you, I let you go, you are no longer part of my reality". I have done this and I can tell you it really does make you feel like you dropped a ton of weight off of your soul. You really have to mean it though. I have done this with a few people that were in my life a few times over, at first it never took, until I really felt the words. You don't just forgive others though, you have to forgive yourself as well.  smiley

I think Tom Campbell wants to say that everything you believe is a limiting belief unless you have enough experience to draw your own conclusion Cheesy... I think it does make sense. Just think about it: if you live your life believing in karma or reincarnation and accepting these things without obtaining any proof about them, you are limiting yourself. These might be very real, but if you accept someone else's interpretation without doing a little research for yourself...yes I think you are limiting yourself Smiley....

cheers
