Underwater - projections into future? - 2012

Well I've been reading about peoples' stories on here and other websites. Some say they hear talks of other entities talking about 2012 and 2013 and that they are underwater in their projection.

I have been reading a lot about 2012 for a while now, and I am to think these people are projecting into Earth's future. How's that make sense? Ever hear about the great flood? I read that we'll go through many natural disasters in the near future--it's already happening now--and we'll all go through a dimensional shift.

No people + underwater? What do you think?

I'm sorry I cannot provide links to these stories. This idea just randomly flashed in my head from the stories I read a while ago. Has anyone else been experiencing anything that may relate to 2012?

it'd be exciting if something did...but yeah...if the ice caps did melt, it wouldn't be enough to kill EVERYONE. if we do get flooded from that, my idea(not a scientist) would be to stay away from the ocean...but thats just me.

I'm one town over from a bay in New Jersey. Yeah, right at home is definitely safe--kidding. My family doesn't believe anything bad is going to happen, and they refuse to move elsewhere. Anyway, it's estimated by scientists a huge asteroid hits earth every hundred years or so. Also, even greater catastrophes occur every thousand years. We're pretty much due on both cases. This is proven by history.

I'm 20 years old, and I can't leave my family behind. Their fate is my fate.

The scientifically predicted pole shift has nothing to do with geography, it has to do with magnetics.  Nothing would move, compasses would just have to be relabeled.

The rising sun?  Do you mean the way it looks from here?  How will it align with the center?  I have read so many versions of this I'm still not sure what they mean by this.  You mean the center in a horizontal plane, or just how it looks from the earth?

This is how i perceived this phenomenon:  Obviously there is a strong gravitational pull in our galactic center.  In 2012 the sun will block the Earth from the center sort of like an eclipse  This block will throw off the orientation of the Earth's axis. (The earth rotates on its axis).  This will completely reverse Earth's magnetic field causing great catastrophes.  However the earth will become almost supercharged with electromagnetic activity, which will heighten mankind spiritually. 

Do not take my word on these events actually happening, but if it does the world will change completely.

It seems we get over one obstical and another appears.  This reminds me of the whole Y2K thing.  Is it possible, sure.  Am I going to move to avoid, nope.  We are just cattle if something that large takes place.  So the only thing we can do is spend our last moments with love ones and hope for the best.

An object getting in the way of gravitational pull does not affect it, it only adds to it, if it's close enough.  It's not.
If there is a reversal of the magnetic field (this happens from time to time and has been documented) a magnetic pole reversal will not affect the physical poles, or the earth's axis.  For the earth's axis to be affected something closer (probably as close as the moon, give or take a few miles, and large enough) would have to disrupt our field.
  If someone wanted to destroy the earth via the sun, a well-placed sunspot could fry the earth's atmosphere to the point of letting all kinds of radiation in.  But galactic convergences won't do it.

i'm going to have to disagree with you a little on that one cftraveler, i think the first thing that will happin is the galactic alignment yes, but because of this other planets, stars, comets, and so forth will too be "merging" so to speak with the galactic center, some may mention a super black hole and such and truth of that is yes they exist, and if you would like to know what a super black hole is it's a galactic rift, these galactic rifts could indeed lead to either another deminsion, or another galixy, however this is just one of many theories that our limited minds can ever understand. we will only know when it happins.
