I am the one of the people who is really ambitious, and I think too much. Even much, that I have created sleeping difficulties because I am preoccupied with plans, ideas etc..
Now I can't get to fall asleep normally, for a few years already now. I wait late hours, when my eyelids start to close themselves, literally.
I know it's not good practice, to try to project in the night, but I am wondering if I can use it as my "weapon" to project.
When I try to fall asleep in some normal time, I feel my natural need to sleep, but my brain is just as so active as it don't let me do it.
Can I use that state for slipping into astral, what do you think can I work out some technique from it?
Thanks in advance.

I tink the word "tool" or "aide" fits better here than weapon.  smiley

Yes,

It is phenomenal practice. Do it and do it as often as possible. The key I have learned after all this time is to use the rhythm of your breath as a tool. Once you have learned to use the very thing you need to ignore in order to succeed. AND HAVE CULTIVATED THE INTENSE FOCUS NECESSARY. You will succeed. Until then...drowsy exit, drowsy exit, drowsy exit. This is not an endevour for the faint of heart. it is overcoming the natural will to live itself.

Cheers,
