Could it be? "night at the camp"

Hello to everyone. I have been hiding a long time, only reading topics about your OBE experiences, but now it seems i have to share this one with you and maybe get some feedpack. Was it an OBE, was it something else, i do not know. Sorry if you could not understand everything i write, but the english is not my main language.

So. I live in finland and i currently serve in defendforces. We were having one week camp in the woods and it seriously was almost impossible to stay awake after having like 2 hours sleep every night. I was laying down in the tent eyes closed and i felt like i was almost falling asleep and in the army you should not. I started to think about everything and suddenly i felt like i was already dreaming. The first vision was a billiardboard and i was able to change the view of where to look at. At this point i told my mind to hit the ball with the full power and when the ball started to roll i suddenly felt like i was shoot off to the sky. I felt surge in my abdomen and the voice i heard when flying like a rocket to the space, was something like a train riding next to me. Now after the launch to the sky it was all black and after a while i got my vision back. I was now standing in a long tunnel floating forward I was able to feel my body. i really knew i was dreaming and i can control this. in my mind i told myself "JUMP! , TRY TO FLY!" and it shoot me up to the sky again, i flew upwards really fast and mentioned there was an mirror i flew through. At this point i paniced a bit, cause i have been reading books about OBE's and astral projections and there has been lots of babling about other dimensions, which can be reached with many ways, and one of those is the mirror. Now after panicing i felt like i was coming down from where i was. It pulled me back to my body and i woke up in the tent paralyzed.

Maybe you people can lighten me a bit and share your visions about this one.. what was it?

After all i think it was an amazing experience.

from my reading on the subject, if it seemed very real it was probably an astral trip of some sort

by the way your English sounds a lot better than some other people on here who speak only english

Seeing total blackness is quite common and has been mentioned by many Astral Travelers. It is sometimes referred to as 3D blackness or the void. Hearing a loud roaring sound is also common and is just one of the many sounds that sometimes accompany the projection as it starts to occur. Waking in a paralyzed state is also common. Our bodies do this while we are sleeping to keep us from hurting ourselves during dreams. Just imagine if you were fighting someone in your dreams, your arms might be flailing all over the place and if you had someone next to you, well, you get the picture.

Thanks to you both for having some time to read through my post.

If you say it was an Obe, i seriously need to practice more and try to control my mind better so i can go through it without panicing.
I will hang on the forums and will write down all the happenings occuring to me which have something to do with astral experiences.
