Hi All,
I was rereading Frank's model the other day, and the idea of consciously projecting into the subconscious mind really grabbed me. So I thought about it for a few days and decided last night to try it.
I had been thinking yesterday about human potential, and how that we all have within us the capacity for so much for than we actually experience. We all have with in us superhuman potentials physically, mentally, and spiritually, but for some reason, generally speaking, we only scratch the surface.
So, my questions were...Why? What is it that blocks us from our true potentials?
Then last night I said my prayers, started deep breathing and relaxation in preparation of phasing into my subconscious mind. Soon I found myself in the void, watching shapes forming in the 3D blackness.
Then,I got this weird thought-- that this area, this void, or 3D blankness, was actually the Cave of The Original Spirit. This a term from chi kung training, that I had always assumed was just a typical, flowery, translation for a place to concentrate on when meditating. But here was the realization that at that moment, I was actually the spirit in the cave, so to speak.
Anyway, this realization was pretty profound one for me, but I got over it soon and went back to the shapes and images forming in the void. Every now and then, I would recall my intent to enter my subconscious to find the answers to my questions.
Then after a while, I heard a voice. Then another. Then another. And all were shouting discouragement, On and on until the voice were buzzing like thousands of bees.
They said no I can't, I would fail, It can't be done, It's not allowed.
I was in a huge place, like a stadium, in the center of the floor. The place was very dark but I could see the stadium was filled with people. I could see their faces dimly illuminated. Thousands of them, all shouting and screaming over one another so much so that I couldn't make out what anyone was saying distinctly, but I got their message loud and clear.
Then it was over, and I realized that one reason why we have such difficulty tapping our potential, is that for thousands of generations we have been told that we can't. That we are less. That it is not allowed. For every Buddha, every Christ, every Lao Tzu who came, saying we are free, there have been millions of stadiums filled with people shouting No.
