Two nights back on Thursday, July 3 I had an OBE. Thi OBE was unusual for me in that vague conciousness and dream imagery were very prominant. It began and ended in a dream which I have titled
"Flight Out of Work"
This was a continuation of a dream earlier this night. Here I realized that another job service had hired me to work at another nearby location (other than the place of work in the earlier dream tonight). After a lot of trouble getting in touch with this job service with a very strange cell phone I soon started work at a large house. This place was familiar from another dream of years ago And some of the dream temp workers were familar also.
After a few hours of work I wanted to get outside the house and take a flight over the surrounding woods. While going down a hallway I saw two men who were probably managers. So I went into a restroom hoping they would pass by and not notice me. One man did come into the restroom to wash his hands but he soon left. I waited a minute then went back into the hall and got outside through a side door.
OBE "Flight Out Of A Dream"
This is where the OBE began although consciousness was very vague. Immediately I floated upward 30 to 40 feet and got up about as high as the house roof. Then I took a flight out over the spacious backyard and above a wooded area.
It was a 10 to 15 minute flight over surrounding woods. The flight covered about half a mile. Flying was slow, leisurely and uneventful.
One (of many) questions concerns the location. It could have been a Belief System Territory (BST). It might have been an actual physical location or it could have been an OBE with only dream imagery. The place Was familiar though I have never been there physically.
I suffered from a confused consciousness. During the flight I realized that it was a special experience but did not quite directly equate it to an out of body experience. Perhaps trying too hard to focus concentration would have ruined the experience. However, upon awakening I realized at once that the flight was an OBE.
Notes. Time was anytime between 2 AM and 5 AM. Duration of OBE was 10 to 15 minutes, the dream (including the OBE) lasted more than 30 minutes.
Locale in Unsure (probably Locale I or a BST).  There were only people in the dream (not the OBE). The OBE began out of, and ended back into the dream. Confused,  Flight,  Energy (pranayama), Meditation and a short pre-sleep Affirmation.

I do too. Unfortunately many times during an OBE I get so entranced by flying that I forget what else I had planned to do while OOB.

You didn't experience any pain when you left your body?  When I do it, my head hurts like REEEEEEALLY bad.  What energy exercises do you do to get your energy into such good shape??

Thanx for the nice words lily

I am not a master - otherwise I would -
a) have an OBE nearly every night and
b) have my own website and
c) be selling OBE products.

But I do know what works for me. So for what it's worth here is what I consider to be the two most important practices.

1) Pranayama -- which is yogic breath control. The simplest form is called adhama. Breathe in (inhale) for 4 seconds, retain (hold) the breath for 16 seconds and then exhale for 8 seconds.
That 1:4:2 ratio of inhale:retain:exhale should always be followed. Practice adhama for a few minutes. If it feels right then increase the practice for up to 10 minutes (or more) each day. Pranayama cleans the energy system of the body and increases pyschic energy (called prana).

2) meditation There are myriads of different forms of meditation. I try to combine visualization during meditation. Sometimes I try to focus on the Astral Pulse Island pyramid and include an affirmation like "I will OBE tonight".
Try different types of meditation and find what works for you.
