i was trying to astral project so i could find a spirit guide but in my dream i entered
this grotto that i built awhile back, then a women emerged out of the water and we talked,
she kept changing form but when i asked what she was i didnt get an exact response.
i was dreaming but i was also able to feel my body, my body was buzzing and my
hands were extremly hot.
(this is a breif description of what happened)
i figured it was my subconcious but im not really sure?
Well, I'll give you what amounts to my opinion:
In symbolic imagery (which is what the subconscious uses to communicate ideas) the grotto and water are symbols of the feminine. According to Jung the soul (or psyche, if you don't like the use of the word soul) is neutral, and usually manifests in the opposite sex- so if you're male you're possibly symbolically perceiving your anima, and if you're female you'd possibly perceive your animus, which is the 'typically male' aspect of the soul/psyche.
So, if this is indeed a symbolic manifestation of your subconscious, then this would be your anima, and another thing that makes me think that indeed it is, is that water is also used to symbolize subconscious information 'submerged' in the water of the unconscious.
So I'd say, if you're male, the answer is yes.
If you're female, you're very strongly female, or this could be symbolic of something connected to your femenineity or rather female aspects of your psyche, such as emotions, or sexuality. But this is a big big guess here.
