Hey I have recently decided to try and Astral Travel. It is incredibly easy for my to get to the vibration stage once I am relaxed it starts with my left arm and i spread it down my arm and up my arm. Then I spread it to my chest by just think and feeling like I'm float in that's how I get the vibrations I just make myself think I'm floating. Then my whole body starts Vibrating and I start getting these twitches and then I just try and make myself float up because I'm bad at visualization. But I haven't gotten out yet. I will never stop trying because I really want to succeed. My heart starts beating faster and my body starts to feel numb. My left arm feels like it is higher up then the rest of my body and it always makes me think about the feeling of lieing on a clowd. I also gets this kind of swaying feeling like I'm on a swing but sideways while lying down it's really weird.

Does anyone have any advise on getting past the vibration stage because even though I am only 15 I am dedicated to Astral Traveling.

I don't think just laying down and kind trying to force it to happen is the best way to go about getting an astral projection. It never worked for me that way xD I would lay on the bed for two hours trying to stay as still and relaxed as possible, but no, nothing, though I did get the occassional vibration, I don't think it was quite strong enough or I was in the right relaxation mode, if that makes sense o.o

The only way I have ever done it is when I go to bed like I normally do. I start to drift off to sleep but I keep myself slightly aware. I stay in that sort of zone until the rest of my body falls asleep, when it does, I can tell because I'll start shaking and vibrating. Sometimes I will also sort of just fall asleep and then I'll wake right back up into the start of the process. I have only one time waken up and not needed to go through the whole vibrating, weird noises and splitting stuff, and it was super creepy because I sorta just woke my consciousness, and my astral body, most likely already split from my physical, fell immediately through my bed O__O.

Also, I think it really helps when your body is physically tired. Your body can then relax and go to sleep easier while you keep your mind awake. I don't recommend overexerting yourself. But working and excercising at night or something might help xD

I get the sway feeling a lot when I start to relax on my bed. Don't know why we do that, but we do.

Hope some others can offer some of their advice too Smiley

Your getting into the vibration state with ease is more than half the battle (much more, wish I could get into it with ease  undecided ) So relax, your problem is the luxury of an exit problem instead of the long-winded and rocky road of trance induction.  smiley Be happy about this in the first place. Exit methods are not that difficult.

I would suggest you try not to 'float' then but maybe roll out. Many do this.You do not need visualisation for this either. It's all about tactile and body feeling.

If that doesn't work, my second hint is also without visualisation: ask (also before you go to bed as pre-affirmation) a guide or helper to help you out.

Then when in the vibratory state, just stretch out an astral hand or shout (innerly) "help me out". Ask and ye shall be given.  wink Guides are nice people, they are eager to help, most of the time you don't see them then, you only felt their hand(s) lifting you out (yes, it might be two sometimes, it varies, at least for me), and once you're out you are free to explore. Unless you want to meet and see your helper(s), then you will see them.

Hi,
Use the swaying by working on it until it feels like a rollercoaster drop. Then let (imagine) your seat snap and fly off into the astral.
You may feel like you're sat sideways, its a new experience.

Thanks for all the input guys I'm definitely going to try out these techniques tonight. I'llpost how it went tommorrow and go from there I really think It would be a great experience to visit the Astral realm.

As well how exactly do you call upon a guide could you give me some more details because that sounds quite interesting and would love to try it.

Nope, that's never worked for me.  But I wouldn't blame them o.O Why would spirits just be right there at your beck and call? Seems kinda fabricated. LOL Hence why I don't believe in guides. Better me not to actually, not going to say they "aren't" real though, because we are never sure of anything.

So it didn't go to well I was lieing there relaxed trying to get to the vibration state by imagining I'm floating like always. Once my left arm was vibrating it started to feel like something was biting me elbow. I moved the vibrations around a bit and it started to go to my toes an then the left half of my chest. I startedseeing dots of light everywhere and it was pretty cool. I then tried lifting up my one arm because the vibrations wouldn't spread everywhere once I did I noticed that I was partly lifting my astral body out but my left arm was getting dragged up with it or I just couldn't lift it properly

This is were the weird stuff starts. I love Netflix and the cover of the movie "The Shrine" (I've never seen it) always creeped me out. Now that character was everywhere. I imagined myself above my bed and I'm not sure if I was in the Astral or not because it didn't feel like everyone described. I was looking down at my bed and I could see all these characters from the cover of the shrine and it was freaky but i rememberednot to be afraid but they just wouldn't leave. Eventually they left one by one and then I'm looking at my hands but this whole time I could still feel my physical so I don't think I ever left. Then The images faded and I was seeing black again.

After about 5 or 10 minutes of me trying to get the vibrations back after I was asleep.

Well that seems like a good attempt. I think you are getting closer. I don't think you were quite there yet because once you are aware of your spirit body out of your physical, you know.... O_o Oh you know *_*

Will there be scary things like that though inside of the astral?

Is it possible the at I can try going again during the day today around 12pm or 1pm insdead of around 9pm or 10pm will it still work during the middle of the day?

And what do you mean you know when you leave the physical? because I can't seem to move my astral I always move my arm or chest up a bit not alot because I'm in sleep paralysis.

But I promise you I will not give up! grin

Keep trying, you are almost there.

Things that you see during the day can often manifest in to the astral in the same way as they can in your dreams.

Are there scary things in the astral? Yes, but I am yet to come in to contact with anything that has been able to do me harm, you just tend to ignore them and they go away, there's far more interesting things to do than be caught up with them. Any fears have to be conquered as early as possible as they will only hold you back.

Astral projection can happen at any time. Some people find it easier during the day as they are not as tired.

You don't always know when you leave the physical, often nearly everything looks exactly the same as in the physical, at an early age before I knew what was going on I would walk around my house at night and then get snapped back into my physical body, which didn't make any sense to me at the time. However when you leave your physical body you don't have the restrictions of your physical body and everything can seem more real, it's hard to explain but you feel as if you have extra senses or you are slightly more sensitive to things. I think you'll know when you leave your body for the first time if you do it cleanly enough and if so you will then know that this is without a doubt real.

Next time you get full body vibrations, try to intensify them. After a while if you feel as if your body is floating or has split, try rolling out of bed, even if you are not quite sure. Sometimes I'm not quite sure myself but I'm yet to roll my physical body out of bed  grin

One thing to be aware of is that there is a kind of magnetism between your physical body and your astral body, you will feel as if you are getting pulled back. Try and get away from your physical body as soon as you can.

Do you think if I take a nap a couple hours before trying to astral project or I try it a little after I wake up in the morning I'll have a better chance of succeeding?

just speak to your guide(s) as normal, ask them to help you, they hear you, and it's best to speak it before your trance induction attempts or (if you use indirect method) before you fall asleep, it is also better to speak it out aloud (with your voice, not only your thoughts), as then affirmations become even stronger in intent and force when you use your 5th (communication) chakra with it

Adding on to the question of the OP, I wake up with the vibes a lot - several times a month. I tend to have issues with getting out too.

If I try to move the astral, the physical ends up moving. If I try to rise, I feel my physical eventually doing it instead. If I do, in fact, get the astral body to act in the vibe stage, I end up going into a dream, or a really wacky OBE that I'm in no control of whatsoever. Just seems like a really neat dream when I wake up in the morning.

For me, the best time to exit your body is at the very beginning of the vibrations when you feel a soft tug. The tug feels like a rising upward through the top of the head, or it may feel like a sinking feeling through the soles of the feet.

You have to be quick to find this tug. It happens at the very moment the vibrations come. You can't wait more than a second too long to separate. If you are successful, you will have wasted little energy in the separation process. The conserved vibrational energy will then be used during the obe.

It is possible to separate at the very end of the vibrations, but I wouldn't recommend it. The reason is because you have wasted a lot more energy by continuing the vibration process that could of been used for the obe instead.

You can practice trying to find this tug by paying attention when you fall asleep. You may also feel this tug about a second before you fall asleep. If you can separate then, you won't have to go through the entire vibration process. You will have conserved energy, which will help your obe's become a better quality.

Yousay you feel the tug in your head but it takes a while for the vibrations to even reach my chest. I always have very strong vibrations in my left arm. I don't know why but it has never started in my right arm but is always strongest in my left arm.

You are pulling energy from the left energy orb only. There are six total. Try pulling energy from all six inward into your body at once while you are in sleep paralysis to initiate the vibrations.

I would recommend practicing paying attention when you fall asleep to find the tug. It takes a lot less time than having to go through sleep paralysis.

How do you pull energy from specific energy orbs?

I just imagine that I am floating and then after a while It'll start to vibrate I am very knew to this I don't know how to specifically pull energy to an individual area or to multiple areas for that matter.

Try practicing anytime during the day when you are awake to get used to it. Mentally map out all six energy orbs. With your eyes closed, mentally pull energy from all six energy orbs at the same time into your body. After a bit of time, you should feel a shiver or light energy sensations in your body.

Keep practicing doing this throughout the day to get used to it. Next time you get the vibrations at night while you are practicing your floating, mentally pull with your mind energy from all 6 energy orbs. This should help intensify the vibrations.

Here is a video showing energy traveling from the orbs into the body. Mentally imagine yourself doing this same thing.

You need to relax the entire body.

Then,

Simultaneously pull energy from all 6 orbs into your body. Energy will come into you body after a little while. Then at that exact moment of the tug, you can try log rolling out of your body, lifting up towards the ceiling, sitting up, willing your conscious forward, slipping through the soles of your feet, or you can rise like steam escaping through the top of your head. Do whatever exit method that gives you the best results.
 
Yes you can do it anywhere and at anytime. Especially do it when you are practicing your floating technique.

Thanks I'm going to definitely try this more often and I'll post what happens tonight when I try to astral travel and what I do. I'm definitely going to try pulling energy from the 6 different orbs like in the video.

Hey so last night I tried astral projecting again. I got the vibrations in my head to start I was again imagining I was floating and trying to draw energy into my body using from the orbs. The vibrations moved down to my feet and then I started to completely vibrate.

I stated to tel myself "I am imagining myself floating out of my body" Then I thought "What am I thinking?" so instead I started to tell myself of course in my head "I am floating out of my body"

After a while of this I heard a voice (I'm not sure if it was there or I was imagining it but it said) "You are floating out of your body then I said it and thenit said it for awhile.

The vibrations started to increase and I heard it tell me to try and get out of my physical.

I tried repeatedly but it just wouldn't happen.

This voice stayed with me trying to help me get out of my body for about 5 - 10 minutes. But I just couldn't get out.

Do you think the voice was part of the astral and I was getting closer or if I was imagining it?

I believe your physical body isn't in a deep enough relaxed state. This makes it difficult to fully separate. You want to be in a state which feels like your body is asleep and your mind is awake.

1) Try practicing your technique when you are really tired, so your physical body can fall asleep quick. Just keep enough awareness during this process to keep the mind awake. (This is the technique that works the best for me, and I highly recommend it)

or

2) You can go through the progressive muscular relaxation techniques to deepen the relaxation of the physical body first before you start doing your obe technique. You can search for many different versions of this technique on the forum here. (Some people find this technique works good for them)

I have no idea if the voice you heard was real or imagined. I never hear voices. Some here report they do hear them. See if you keep getting the voice. If you consistently get this voice, it may be someone helping you out.

Thanks I'll try the muscle relaxing technique first because when I am physically tired I just fall asleep and can't go through relaxing and keep my mind awake but I can allways give it a try.
