I lay there completely still, I let my mind go and body settle. I felt enveloped by a sense of utter peace and quite. All it took was my lone will to filter out all of life's calamities and look past it all. I became awe struck by the backdrop of my closed eyelids, the darkness took life and eased into an infinite grain of colors dancing like waves, thrashing about and I followed. What happened next I cannot put into words well enough to re-create the experience. I began to open my eyes slightly because I felt vibrations and wished to look around. up I went up I tell you!
I instantly recognized my house and adjacent properties including the mall near my house and its parking lot. Of course they were getting smaller the higher I went and then it hit me. The dreaded fear of falling, I even thought to myself, "I have no parachute". What a silly thought when I look back at it now. I watched as It turned from day to night and the city below lit up with lights and went to day again. This repeated itself long enough for me to notice it would change from day to night depending on how bad I had that dreaded feeling of falling.
Anyways I guess my fear took over me and I was instantly snapped back into my physical body. I was greeted by the roaring sound again, almost ushering me back in to take another shot at it. I just wanted to jump up in joy when I realized I was physically paralyzed. I guess I had slipped past the sleep paralysis as I was so relaxed initiating my session and forgot all about it as I tried to get up. I lay there feeling the vibrations and the gushing sound as it slowly eased away.
Then the most amazing thing happened. As if out of thin air, a mist like ethereal face appeared close to mine. I kid you not, I was fully awake and easing out of the paralysis. I watched the features of the face changing almost as if morphing right before my eyes. It reminded me of one of the three spirits from Disney's a Christmas carol.
Any-who I remember a scroll of symbols right before It vanished, the symbols scrolled from right to left or left to right I can't recall and I didn't recognize any of them. I actually tried to look away from them, I felt as if I was "taking in" something just by viewing them. It wasn't scary or unpleasant, I just wish I wasn't so scared.
